Arete blinked a few times. "Well..uhh...hold on let me check again." Arete turned, ran over to Selene, tapped her on the head, and then ran back. "Yup, she's got a demon. She may even have two of them right now." He crossed his arms over his chest and nodded confidently. "Its bad. This is very bad..."

She didn't know what to say. To hear that her daughter had taken on a Sin was startling to her, not to mention depressing. She turned and looked to Arete. "Can you atleast tell which Sin it is?" She turned and looked to Selene. "Kora can always get the sin out...but someone would need to take the Sin. I could do it. I would have no problem taking a sin in her stead...but at the same time...she is innocent. Do you think a Sin could really harm her?"

Normally, he'd harm the small animal, but for the sake of the girl, he merely set it down once more and let it run away. He knelt down beside the girl and gently placed his hand on the hand that was bitten and let out a bright light as the small wound healed. "Pay no mind to it. She growled lightly, her fragile hands turning into fists. "I won't let him! Surely he knows that Kora can take the sin from her, but Fenrir doesn't need any sins. That man is crazy enough, he doesn't need anything that would make it worse! Selene is going to have to go somewhere safe. I wanted to take her to Kora but now it would be a bad idea. If I keep her with Jasper, he might stand a chance but I know that Fenrir will just try to kill him out of spite. But even so I can't hide her from him forever...The sins have to go, one way or another. Quite frankly, I think Selene could handle all the sins, but she would need help. A group of people to help her gain those sins and banish them from this planet."
Amaterasu looked over to Arete, "I could ask you to do it. You know Fenrir, so you would know what his plan would be. However, you don't look much like a fighter. You look more like a coward who would flee at the first sight of danger."

Well far be it from me to doubt running as an excellent course of action in the face of any danger, and I'm certainly against violence, but this time around I doubt it will solve your problem. If there's one thing I know about Fenrir its that the man doesn't know when to stop. He'll hunt you for as long as it takes, you know."

"I know he won't stop..." She turned and looked to Arete. "Little Bard, since you know Fenrir beast, you can surely keep my daughter safe from him and help her out. Please, I beg of you, as a mother who has no other options, will you take my daughter with you? You can think like Fenrir and you can stay one step ahead of him. Please, take her with you and help her gain those sins so she can banish them before Fenrir gets his greedy hands on them. I'll send Jasper off with you as well. He is an incubus, but also a Paladin. He may make some stupid choices every now and again, but he is a good man. From there, if this becomes too much for you, you can charge others with protecting her, but it must be people that you trust. Since you can tell what people are like simply by touching them, you should find someone suitable. I realize this is a lot to ask, but I can't think of anything else that would help. Even if Lilianna makes that home for Selene, Fenrir could still find it and barge into it. Someone must keep moving with Selene to keep her safe. Of course, in exchange for this, just name what you need and I will do it. I'm sure you'd be able to find me later."
The woman thought for a moment, a perfect way to lure Fenrir out. "I'll be luring him out. There is only one thing I've wanted to do with my life besides raise a family, and that was to become a singer. Perhaps I can lure him to me that way."

Arete rubbed his chin and nodded in agreement. "Well, I have always believed that music brings people together. W-Wait, WHAT!?" Arete seemed to only just now hear the first part of Amaterasu proposal. "You want me to watch over your demonically possessed child!? B-But I was against this from the start! I'm the one who's been telling you not to fight Fenrir on this one, and now you want me to help you fight him?"

"You are not listening! I do not want you to help me fight Fenrir! I want you to take Selene and help her get the sins before Fenrir can! I'm going to lure Fenrir to me so that he will hopefully stay off her trail. I am not sure how long I can hold him back, but I will die so that my daughter can have a happy life. Granted, her gaining the sins won't be happy, but you know as well as I do that once people know who her father is, they will be after her. Please Arete, take Selene and Jasper with you and help them until others come to their aide. I will lure Fenrir to me. I think he is going to want to try and kill me first anyway since he probably thinks I've betrayed him."

Arete sighed. "Might as well be the same thing." He glanced back at the child for a long moment before looking back at Amaterasu. "Fine fine, I'll help you. I own an orphanage out in the desert. It isn't much but Fenrir's never been there and there are other kids her age there. I can stash her there for a while until I come up with a better hiding spot."

"An orphenage? How sweet...Well if I make any money off this career, I'll send it all there." The woman nodded, very much relieved. Though she was sad to think that this would probably be the last time she would see her daughter. Amaterasu stared over to Jasper and Selene and reached up to dry the tears that were forming in her eyes.
"I will never be able to thank you enough for this Arete. If there is anything else that you need, please just let me know. I will do whatever I can to make this easier on you while I am still on this plane of existance."

When the girl asked the question, Jasper looked down to her and smiled. "You did it perfectly." Then Jasper turned his gaze back to Cherry, she was looking at both him and Selene. The look on her face wasn't a normal 'I'm happy you learned your first Cleric skills' type look that mothers usually had. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. Jasper stood up and walked toward Cherry, "What's wrong? You always have that look on your face before you try and send me off somewhere."

She turned and looked to Jasper as he came up to see what was wrong. Turning her head down slowly, she nodded. "Yes...I know you want to stay and protect me Jasper but Fenrir tried to kill you once. He'll do it again. I can't have Selene learn from Kora like I wanted because he'll know where she is and find her there. So I need you to go with Selene and Arete to his orphenage. I'm putting you in charge of my daughters life and I want you to help her get the sins while I hold off Fenrir and give him the chase of his life. I won't be able to do it forever...and while I could go after the sins myself, I'm also targeted by him."
She turned and looked to her daughter. "She is an innocent, but she has already gained a sin. More than likely, if people find she has a sin, they probably won't attack her. Most people have a soft spot for kids. And perhaps you can use that to your advantage when finding the others. I dislike asking so much from you, from Arete, and from my daughter who should be out playing and having fun, but I see no other option. And I need you two to head out quickly. The longer you stand here, the closer Fenrir will get. So please Jasper, take Selene and follow Arete. Arete will help you and her out until he finds someone better to help you in your search for the sins. But please...go now..."
Amaterasu turned to Selene as she came walking over. Kneeling down beside her daughter, she couldn't help but start crying as she wrapped her arms around the girls fragile shoulders. "Dear sweet Selene...I'm so sorry for how things turned out sweetheart...but you have to go with these men now. And I need to ask you to do something very important....I need you to be a vessel for the sins that have been plaguing this world. You are innocent, and the best person for the job. I am so sorry for asking this for you sweetheart...But there is no other way. Do you understand?"
