Xion nodded, then glanced over at the glass box her costume was currently in. The blanket Cat was holding suddenly spun out of her hands and wrapped itself around her. It melted into black leather, her mask and wig faded back into place, as well as everything else.
Once that was in place, Natalia turned towards Xion and pointed at the door.
He sighed a bit, and the door slid open.

Natalie smiled a bit, then turned to Black Cat. "I get to pick out new dolls now...but I'll take you to Mom." she said as she started walking out the door. "No one will mess with you while you're with me."

Cat followed the girl, her posture relaxed but wary. "What exactly do you mean by 'dolls?'" she asked carefully, her eyes on Natalie's face.

Natalie pause a moment and shuffled about on the side of her dress. She pulled something out of her pocket and carefully held it out in both hands. It was a Black Canary doll that was just a little longer than her hands. It looked...rather real.
"Dolls." She replied. "They can't do much with their dolls now...so I get to pick some new ones."

Cat stared at the doll for a long beat, then shivered slightly. Maybe she was reading too much into things, but... "... Oh. That's... good."

Natalie smiled a bit. "I don't get new dolls very often." she said, gently petting the dolls hair and placing it back into her pocket.
The lights surged with an audiable humm for a few seconds, flickered, then seemed to return to normal. Natalie glanced up at them, then looked back down the hall. "Looks like mommy had to yell at them." she said, then continued forward.

Cat stopped when the lights flickered, looking around with a curious expression, then hurried to catch up when the girl continued walking. "Who is your mom, anyway?" she asked, sounding mildly impressed. If the lights were any indication, this woman had to be on Doctor Strange's level of power... But if that was the case, why hadn't she heard of her before?

"Edel Condulmer. The Witch of Fruition." Natalie replied. "She made her own town in the big city."
Then she paused a moment in front of a locked door. She stared at it curiously for a moment, then seemed to loose interest and kept walking.

Cat glanced at the door as well, trying to see if she could hear or smell anything on the other side, then reluctantly trailed after the girl.

The lights flickered again, this time they went out completely. There was a rather painful scream from somewhere far down the hall. Then the back up generator came on, filling the halls with a dull light.
Natalia glanced down the hallway, and paused for a moment. "She's down that way." she said quietly, then began walking again.
The closer they came to the larger rooms, the louder the screams became. Before they got to the large room that the screams seemed to be coming from, three rather large Blood beings crept into view. They spotted both girls, and hissed aggressively at them.

Cat tensed and took a step back; the already flickering lights fairly exploded. "You really don't want to do this," she informed the beings flatly.

The Blood creatures pressed forward, seemingly unphased by the lights.
Natalie stared at them for a beat, then pulled her doll back out of her pocket. She had no interest in these ugly things. She didn't want to make dolls out of them. She set it on the ground in front of her, then took a step back from it.
After a small second, the doll sat up and stood on it's own. Then it grew...life size. Like a living manikin. The Black Canary doll looked up at the creatures, then opened her mouth.
