Jocasta thought about the moments in her life that were a struggle for her and things that brought her through. She's lived more a life then most of the kids running around this village at the same age. She survived being nearly beat to death when she was younger by someones selfishness; a part of her wanted to get him back for the moments that he robbed from her... taking her mother and brother from her. Revenge was never a solution for her but, if there was a chance that she would be able to fight him... she would take it. She wasn't afraid of the man but his true nature. A man that had the capacity to leave a frightened child in the forest by herself and take everything was something to be reckoned with. She knew that she would have to confront her past eventually... but for the time being, she needed to work on herself.

Her thoughts seemed to drift to the troubles in the Academy, things were hard for her to start; no one seemed to know her element... the paper test and even a sensor that was in the Leaf didn't seemed make sense of her alignment. This essentially excited her but seeing the other genin realize or somehow unlock their potential so young seemed to make her bitter. She grew to be determined to prove herself to the rest of the genin here in the Leaf... and she was still that way. She wanted to prove to everyone that she was one of the best, she was different. She wasn't a Senju, Hyuuga or Uchiha like she grew up with; she was 'Jocasta the Red Star' as her mother would affectionately call her. But, she wanted to show everyone that she was able to make it and be the strongest Kenoichi... screw the boys... she wanted to beat the girls.

Her thoughts turned to the moment that she graduated the Academy as a rising star ... well in her own mind. She loved the moment when everyone thought that this messy haired orphan wasn't going to graduate; then she did. The moment that they called her name... it was the most magical moment of her life. In the Hot Springs, Jocasta shed a tear visualizing the moment that her name was called. There is an emotional rush that goes through your body when they call your name, it's pretty much saying 'Your a capable kenoichi now change the world.' That spoke to her, something so special; that man years ago didn't take her will and strength from her after all... but added something to her ... a stronger will to survive.

She sat there, after recounting her own memories and really putting this in perspective... she felt renewed. She felt so much better, she felt like a different person all together. Something felt different, maybe this was the relaxation that she needed; she missions that she had done were pretty crazy. She opened her eyes and her chakra seemed to be lifting off of herself like kindling of a fire.. this is exactly what she needed. This only reinforced that fact that she was alive and this was her life. She felt a stronger sense of self, she stood up and finally exhaled. She needed to do some research for herself then report to the Hokage.

Several women in traditional Onsen worker's garb gathered around a central figure who was dividing pay out to them. The woman they had centered around was a fair beauty, her complexion fine and her hair long, tied back into a bun. She looked off towards the sunset as she saw several shinobi suddenly stand and exit the area. Her eyes followed one of them in particular as he left, but said nothing. Once they had exited she turned to her employees.
"Our utmost discretion is required by the boss, ladies. Your weekly salary is here, and with it the bonuses awarded for the information we've collected for Our Maiden. It is with great sadness that I report that the village is currently on lock down, however, so we won't be seeing many outsiders come to visit. This means we have to work harder for all our of tips from here on out. The woman spoke to those beneath her, before turning to exit the building.

So. This was where the feelings were the strongest. Step to the left, it would be weaker. Right? Same. North and south? Result did not change. This had to be the center of it. Curious, Arashi squat down and placed his hand onto the ground. He was only few meters from outside of the hot springs. While tempted to go in, he knew that if he even tried to go in, the feeling would eat at him until he did something about it. But how? How can he solve this? Frustrated, maybe he should just get the Hokage and ask him to come over here and see if he felt anything. A hand ran over through his red hair as his hand rested at the back of his neck. Still in squat position, his other arm was resting on his right thigh. Yea. Maybe getting the Hokage will do. He just hope that he wasn't going insane.

As Arashi sat squatting there, the ground rumbled. It was only momentary, but all of the surrounding window glass rattled in their frames. Ceramics clattered on the ground, in the windowsills, some falling to a splatter in the alleyways beyond the springs. A small, foul odor wafted along the low cobblestones around Arashi, its green tint tainting the normally earthen hued walkway.

The young genin felt the ground below him moved as he jumped back and his legs became completely tensed. Then it stopped. Not long after that, the windows started to rattle as few splash sounds from the rocks could be heard when it's fallen down. He had to hide... and the hot springs wasn't exactly the place to do so. Wait! He just learned about something! With the location he was already in, he can use this. With that, he had used the method and dropped down to the ground. With the fog, he can try to figure out what's going on. Rolled over and away to the spot in case it was a bad spot, he smelled something foul as Arashi had to breathe slower. The smell wasn't bad enough to gag or try to get a cloth over him, but it was certainly getting there. He laid flat on the ground, his feet touching the ground below him with his palms right at the ground, ready to jump at a moment's notice if he had to. But laying low in a dense fog in additional to the steam would help.

Haiiro no Kiri [ Gray Fog ] Rank: B Description: A technique typically used in conjunction with Genjutsu or area-of-effect-type Ninjutsu, this technique allows the user to imbue a launched technique with a thin gray fog. The fog is mostly unnoticeable and cannot be detected as being the product of a technique by anyone but other Sensor Class Shinobi. It conveys to the user information on the physical fitness and the sensitivity of the senses of anyone it touches. Can discern Shinobi who have suppressed Chakra from normal civilians based on the above-mentioned factors. Lasts as long as any techniques it is used alongside and is confined to the same area. If used alone, covers an area up to 10 meters across in a cloud of whatever fine particulate the user wants (barring poisons and other potentially lethal substances) and lasts for four posts.
Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, and how large their chakra pool is. The foul smell was quickly becoming more than just a stench, and something quite a bit less amusing to one's palate. The green tint was now washing over the brown, drowning it out in small puddles and film. Another rumble, now more akin to an earthquake than an aftershock. Glass shattered as the surrounding wood and stone architecture creaked, heaved, and bent up and down, ready to snap from their frail bindings.

Arashi had to remove one hand from touching the solid earth to his mouth, to avoid the gag reflex of this smell he was receiving. The window broke by him as he flinched. Well. Now he's going have to be careful walking on the glass. Not only that, the entire building started to strain under him and when he started to pick up hints from the fog, it was then he knew he wasn't ready. He needed help. With that, the Uzumaki, who was a fool for one, leapt up to his feet and out of the window. Made a mad dash towards the forest to where Masahiro was to warn him about this creature. Little did he know that by the time they get back, the creature would be gone.

When they arrived, the stench was still there. And the ground was still shaking. He took a step slightly back and his muscles started to tense as he was getting prepared for whatever the heck was going to happen. The building still had broken windows and the grey hues could see that the foundation was under such a strain. Arashi had heard tales that Uzumaki could contain ... things into the mask. He wish he was that advanced but he wasn't just yet. Not only the smell was so strong, Arashi actually had to refrain from making comments or even make any motions towards it. He didn't want the Hokage to get upset at him.... Yet the fog he had preformed earlier was still lingering. He suspect there's a bit more time. "I... sensed it sir, and I'm having trouble to get information. I do know it's dull to touch and it's physical fitness is very good... for whatever it is."

Masahiro arrived on the scene with Arashi and his Sharingan eyes began to swirl as he looked around. He was scanning for the creature's chakra signature, anything different than the boy's and when he finally found it he began to make seals with his hands. A large font of Raiton chakra bursting from his body as he completed the last sign. He couldn't see the beast physically yet, but instead of trying to bring it up to him, he would reach down to it.
"Arashi, stay back until the beast comes up, then show me just what you learned when it's forced above ground." The elder Hatake spoke as his silver hair began to spike up and lift, the braid arcing lightly from underneath his flak jacket and shirt, small loose strands standing on end, the white raiton bursting all around him.
His muscles bulked slightly and his sharp features seemed more defined and drawn out as the chakra armour bursting around his frame lit up his entire form. His eyes seemed even brighter through the lights flickering around him. Arcs of electricity jumped between the handled and scabbards of his various weapons.
Arranging his hands in another set of seals the Hatake drew his arms together and pressed them firmly into the ground. The scriptures upon Masahiro's right arm lighting up red as the cost to empower the technique was drawn from his flesh. Large chains of Chakra, now coloured red instead of the traditional black from the seal, would burst upwards, before turning down into the ground in an attempt to bind the creature and drag it up to the surface.
Masahiro's eyes remained in the direction of the source of this chakra and he breathed lightly through his mouth instead of continuing to draw the wretched scent of the fouled pools into himself. He could feel how low his chakra had fallen, and a brief pant came from his lips before he began to reach into himself for the seal that had been sealed into him in Sunagakure no Sato. [ 675/1,185]
A bright flare of chakra would spark to the eyes of any sensors in the immediate area as a complex series of scars on the Hatake's back sprung to life. Chakra pouring out of them and the fuuin sealed within, Infuuin Kai, itself sprung to life and began to refill the vitality of the Hokage. Kemono Fuuin no Jutsu [ Beast Sealing Technique ] Rank: A Empowered to S (via Hageshi Fuuinjutsu) After planting his or her hands on the ground, the user activates the technique. Chains made of Chakra rise up and bind the target completely, allowing more powerful seals to be placed on the creature with much less hassle. If used on a summoning, it disappears. If used on a Bijuu, it remains bound for up to five posts before breaking free.

Infuin Kai -Scar Sealed- Activated to replenish Chakra
As the chains mucked about underground, their flailing about would cause their links to be coated in large amounts of the abhorrent liquids. Breaking the surface of the ground, pure undiluted, green and foul stench would overpower their sense of smell and gag reflex. Billowing forth as a cloud of unnamable fluids, the grey fog seeped into the ground to replace that which Masahiro dragged out. The fog would show a sizable decrease in the ground laden chakra, with the physical fitness similarly reduced. Unfortunately, such an efficient course of action had caused the above ground, inhabited areas to receive the side effects.
Standing up and watching as the chakra chains did their job Masahiro nearly gagged as the scent washed over him, the only thing near nullifying it being the scent of ozone given off by the Raiton no Yoroi as he kept it enabled. Still the stench was strong and seemed to be only growing. Thus, Masahiro with heavy heart, drew his Tachi and in a single stroke stepped forwards, slashing his blade through the centre of the beast's core. His eyes unwavering and unceasing as the blur of energy and steel cleaved through the creature.

The red haired male nodded when he heard Masahiro that he wanted him to stay back and then show him what he had learned. "Yes si-" He didn't even get to finish his own sentence as his Kage just went over 9000. The creature did arose as Arashi froze. He didn't know what to expect. This wasn't something that was well known. The smell was overwhelming too and he couldn't even think of any jutsu to use. Masahiro had noticed this and took action.
