(Yup. I love my grandparents and they were nice enough to let me and my mom live with them!~)
"Really? Hmmm...A 15 year old? They are sending children into the battlefield too? That doesn't surpise me." Izumi mumbled the last part. "I have a feeling he is planning something evil and not good for either side of the battlefield. I wouldn't ask him Clair....If he knows something and he tells you, you will be putting you and everyone else in this hopistal Clair."
Al laughed at Ed's reaction. "I was kidding Nii-san." He stood up from his seat. "So are you guys ready to go back to the hotel?" He asked. "Its getting late."
Winry glared at Al for a second then she nodded. "Yea one of the reasons we came back here." She went by the seat she was sitting at and grabbed her case. "Im ready."

Joleen had left the hospital and she was wandering the streets looking lost. She had no idea where she was the last thing she remembered was that she was in the hospital with Al next to her. Jimmy was walking besides her his tail swaying happily.
"Yes...I wouldn't want to endanger anyone. But I'm keeping my eyes open! Have you already found a place to stay?" She doesn't want her sister to have no place to stay.
"Okay...Yeah we should get back it's late after all. Were is Joleen Al? I haven't seen her in a while" He looked around but no sign of the girl or her cat

Al shrugged. "I haven't seen her since she was talking to a nurse and that was while you guys were taking a nap. I haven't seen her since then."
Izumi shook her head no. "This was all of a sudden so I didn't have anytime to call in to rent a hotel room for me and Sig so the answer is no we don't."
Winry began to worry A little. "I think we should look for Joleen before we sleep." She suggested. "I think sleep can wait."

She had found her way to the shopping district but she didn't know where to go from there. She looked down at Jimmy and go a n idea. "Jimmy go to Al and take him to me okay? Can you do that?" It looked like the cat nodded before he took of going to Al
"Then it's settled you guys are staying at my place~!" Clair said not making place for any 'no's'. "My shift will be over in half an hour so just come with me after I'm done"
"Yeah we should" ed started walking but he tripped over something "What the?" he asked and saw Jimmy "So the cat is here but where is Joleen?" he asked sounding a little pissed

"Wait you don't have to do that Sis." Izumi sighed and knew that Clair is the type of person who kind and won't take no for a answer when she was being kind. "Thanks Clair." She thank.
Al kneed down to Jimmy. "Where is Joleen?" He ask the cat even though he couldn't understand the cat like Joleen.
Winry walks over to Ed and helps him up. "Next time be more careful Ed." She said. She watched Al and the cat. "The cat probably knows where Joleen is so don't get mad at the cat Ed."

"No problem I'm going to visit my last patient and then I'll be back" she said and went to her patient
Jimmy looked up at Al and meowed and ran to the door stopping to see if they would follow him
"I'm not mad at it...Maybe we should follow him. He is waiting for us" Ed walked to the door and stood besides Jimmy "Come on"

Izumi nodded. "Alright." She went over to the coffee pot and made herself another cup of coffee.
Al nodded. "Right." He went over to the door where Ed and Jimmy were. "He probably knows where Joleen is." He looked down at Jimmy. "Lead the way Jimmy!~
"Umm alright." Winry followed the Elrics. "Im I the only one who thinks it kinda insane to follow a cat?" She thought to herself as she walked.

Clair came back twenty minutes later with a sad look on her face "My last patient died...It was the young soldier..." She looked tired as she sat down on a chair
Jimmy meowed and walked in front of the group leading them to Joleen
Ed looked at Winry with raised eyebrows "You know it feels weird to follow a cat..." he said and he looked ahead again.

Izumi walked over to Clair. "Its ok. I bet you did your best to save him. You always do. You can't always save everyone, it was his time to go probably so its ok."
Al didn't really pay attention to Ed and Winry as he walked. He kept his eyes on Jimmy as he followed making sure he doesn't step on the cat.
Winry nodded in agreement. "Thats what I was just thinking...." She said mumbled as she looked ahead at Al.

Clair sighed and nodded "It still feels bad when you lose a patient you put a lot of time in...Let's go home okay?" Clair hung her lab coat over the chair in her office and put her jacket on
Jimmy ran to Joleen and jumped in her arms. He meowed happily and Joleen smiled at her friend "I got lost..." she said sheepishly while blushing
"Well...I'm not ever going to tell anyone about this" Ed said and looked at the blushing Chimera

Izumi smiled then she nodded. "Yea lets go. You need your rest. I know it feels bad to lose a patient, one that you tired so hard to save but its equivalent exchange." She said trying to cheer up Clair.
"Oh...Well atlease we found you. We were wondering where you were so we went out to look for you then Ed tripped over Jimmy. Thanks to Jimmy we found you." Al walked next to Joleen and stracted Jimmy behind the ears thanking him.
"Me either." Winry said as she looked at Joleen and Jimmy. "Well atlease the cat led us to Joleen."

"well you must be tired as well. I guess it is after all you can't gain without giving." Clair had heard the words over and over. She knew some alchemy but she wasn't as good as Izumi. She put off the lights in her office and locked the door.
"I had send him out to find you guys. So he could take you to me" she explained grinning.
"Yeah he did smart cat..." Ed murmured thinking how it could be that the cat could do that.

"Yea I am but not really." Izumi said with a shrugged as she and Sig followed Clair. "Yes. The law of Equivalent Exchange, the basic law of Alchemy and Life."
"He and most cats are very smart." Al remember something. "Oh Nii-san do you think we can keep Jimmy?" He asked with his eyes sparkling. "Joleen said that I could have him but first I have to ask you."
"Animals are pretty smart even though they don't look like it." Winry looked at Al then back to Ed wondering If Ed would say yes to his little brother.
