Shadowlord: I assume you mean "they're", as in 'they are', rather than 'things that are belonging to them'.
If you're going to RP in an Fire Emblem setting, make an effort to learn the lingo, classes, and/or class-related habits of each. ._. It's really the least you can do.
Deciding not to do that is as asinine as bringing in the Death Star to a medieval role play.

Jisen Meizuki Shadowlord9k Jisen Meizuki My point is that Mercenary don't have the ability to steal like thieves do. confused Thier dead, I see it as taking treasure, quid pro quo *facepalms* Even if they're dead, it's not like they have treasures on them unless they have an item drop. Actually, Isa, I can think of a number of moments in FEF canon where people have looted the dead to keep fighting because their weapons had no more uses. I suppose that could be written off as the people they took the weapons from having drops, though.

Even out of game mechanics, I'm pretty sure stealing from dead bodies makes you a thief. Mercenaries work for their money.

Ninja_Maiden Even out of game mechanics, I'm pretty sure stealing from dead bodies makes you a thief. Mercenaries work for their money. Plus, you could be a mercenary Thief without being a mercenary, like Volke. It's not like the Greil Mercenaries are all actually the Mercenary class, too. Which further supports the notion of Thief.

True, because we're RPing and it's not really a game battling system. >>; It's not like we can write "Kill an enemy. A weapon drops from a sky or out of nowhere and is given for you." In addition, it's true of what you said about the Greil's Mercenaries. However, what Shadow describes the behavior and the type of weapon he's using in this thread aren't.

Trainer Nergal wants to battle!
Eliwood sends out whoever he happened to bring along to the final mission!
-later-
Trainer Nergal is defeated! Eliwood gets 500 GP.

Abel Fallon I'm not sure a huge group would be desired anyway, if they're trying to be stealthy. ..... ******** stealth. I'm going to pull a Volke and knock down a ******** wall, swear alot, and then set the castle on fire it'll be the best rescue ever.

Uuuuggggh. *lays in a bed, eating a bowl of soup*
I feel horrid today. I think I caught this nasty flu around yesterday, as I had all the signs (like, a sour stomach, for instance). Today, it was worse, and since I had so many places to go...
I went from 5 am to 3 pm running on nothing but a half-eaten bowl of oatmeal.
So yeah, now that I'm finally home, I'm having my first real meal, a huge bowl of soup. Hopefully I can nurse myself back to health very quickly, so then I can reply, and you guys won't worry. D:
