xd Sorry, he would be major pissed, as I would be in his situation. It's one of his abso-faves. But you can sometimes find used versions in game stores for cheapish.

So. Say I get a Nintendo DS and Animal Crossing and WiFi. What do I do with it exactly?

First you would open up the Nintendo DS package, then insert the stylus and thumb stylus, then you have to turn on the system and go through system configuration. Where you will adjust the date, time, register your name, color, chat box letter, and calibrate your touch screen... though I recommend you do that first. You use your stylus to calibrate ... or a needle like I do.
Then with Animal Crossing, you'd have open the case, take out the game, put it in the DS cartridge slot of the DS, and play the game. You load up Animal Crossing and go through the beginning conversation in the Taxi Cab with Cappin. He'll ask you questions that will decide what your town will look like, and where your house is... I think fruit is randomly generated, though. After that, you talk to Tom Nook and he'll show you your house and get you settled in.
After he gets you settled in, you then have to do some chores for him to start paying off your house. Only have to do about five or six things. After you're done with all that, go to Cooper and have him register your friend code, but you'll need to configure your WiFi settings... unfortunately I'm not sure how to do that, so you'll have to improvise. But during any time of the game you can register your friends friend code in the tab that has a heart on it.
Simple things, really.

Borrowing Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus from a friend... Pretty interesting game, really. I'm glad I finally get to play it, though.

WHO THE HELL TAKES A PLAYSTATION 2, GUITAR HERO 1 AND 2, AND THE GUITAR TO GUITAR HERO AND TAKES IT OVER TO HIS GIRLFRIENDS HOUES SO HE CAN PLAY IT MORE AND SAY THAT HE'LL BRING IT BACK NEXT WEEKEND!?!?!?!?! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!?!?!?!
My brother, that's who. ******** b*****d scream I need Guitar Hero!!! I'm finally getting good, now I can't play.
But in other news, I have been playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for GameCube a lot lately, the game is very addicting, my first game of the Series, sadly.
