Gravagarra raised his head back to its normal height, looking down apon the humans before him. "I was a well kept secret by Kurag and those who had come before him. It started as a caring thing that veered off toward me being a sort of weapon for the Kings in power. A sort of "Ace in the hole", as you would put it.", the dragon said factfully, almost proud of what he was bred to be. A personal protective beast of the King.
"What on Earth would destroy the palace like that? Can't have been the result of a demon of Karmae, could it? A large amount of demons? A single large demon?", Karn stopped quickly and leaned against his staff, feigning weakness. "Bah, I am too old to be asking these inquiries like a child. It hurts to talk so much, you know. I may well be older than your father, Uru.", Karn said as he kept his elderly disguise to a "T".
Eversor nodded to Maeve in thanks while he actually did thank her for the pitchers. "Thank ye, Ma'am. T'ey won't go t' waste eas'ly." he said as his speach began to slur with his forked tounge. The dragon made short work of one of the pitchers, pushing the other toward the Goat Demon he was drinking with. "Sweet, scal'y god. How did'ja ever conv'nce me teh do t'is, Akiii?"

"The one and only." Afsana nodded toward the palace, "It may be a construction site, but there are quite a few places indoors that are completely safe. And we should get you guys out of the sunlight." She turned to the dragon at her side, "Shall we?" She turned to Patilla as well, "Hm?"
"Sure." Patilla shrugged, "Maybe the dragon wants to let the kids ride in on his back." He smirked, knowing the kids would jump at the opportunity, at least the boy seemed like he would. And that probably wouldn't leave the dragon too happy.
---
"My father?" Uru had certainly been right to be wary around the old man. He narrowed his eyes and studied the man for a moment before he brightened up a bit and smiled, "Well then, I'm not quite sure I grasp what you're so curious about the palace's destruction for, you were here, weren't you?"
---
Ackitahr let out a hearty laugh and replied, "Don't blame me for this." He pushed the pitcher away, "Thanks but no thanks, I shouldn't be drinking on the job."
---
Teinama simply nodded and set to work, "Just a thought," he started, "When was the last time you saw your brother?"
---
"We certainly are not." Arisana shot back, "We're fine. I just wanted to take this way because," she took a moment to think before she smirked devilishly, "so we could enjoy the view." She feigned concern, "Oops, that's just me I guess."

Before either of the parents could object Simon was clinging to Patilla's hand, a more then an excited expression on his face. "I can ride him!? Really?! Just like my horse back home, right!?" His little brain just about exploded with excitement as he ran back to the large dragon's leg and began trying to climb up. The boy, for his age, was quite agile. Using the dragon's large scales he was half way up the front right leg in a blink of an eye. Clair felt like she was going to pass out. "For the gods' sake Thomas stop him!" She, much like her son, grabbed ahold of her husband's hand as she begged her case. Cassidy was just begging to sidled off to the dragon. Unfortunately her small movements had caught her mother's attention. "Don't" She pointed at the child "you dare take another step closer to the dragon." Hanging her head low Cassidy walked back to her parents side. "Do you mind giving him a ride?" Thomas asked glaring at his monkey of a son. "I know he didn't give you much of a choice. But if you like you can just shake him off. That'll learn em." Clair didn't give her husband a friendly look. Walking forward "I think a safe place would be a wonderful idea." she said more then ready to drag both kids to safety. ~ ~ ~ ~
With the palace being under construction Paha had brought over not only soldiers but family members. And one in particular had not come to work, but to stalk, more or less. Skyden was peaking at Uru from behind a half way built up wall. She had masked her aura, and slowed her breathing so she wouldn't be noticed by her pray. Lowering slightly she moved in behind another wall, just much closer. Growling softly she launched herself at the back of her pray. "URU!" She squealed loudly as she landed on his back arms locking securely around his neck, taking care not to choke her human would-be-lover. "Uru, My love! Did you miss me!?" She asked with a purr as she rubbed her body against his back. ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve felt her stomach drop when the dragon offered the horned demon the drugged pitcher of beer. She didn't want to get the nice demon sick. But her worry was short lived, he had turned it down. "Umm can I get you anything, since you're not interested in the beer." Maeve asked picking up the empty beer pitchers. She almost dropped one and was forced to catch it awkwardly in her hand. A small flush crept up her checks. And the one with the horns was so hansom, she was just making herself look stupid. ~ ~ ~ ~
Nadia sighed, she loved when he washed her back. "Hum." she said thoughtfully thinking back. It had been longer then a year. Maybe even two years. But she never wanted to bother him, he was so busy with work all the time. "A long wile." Plus over the last few decades she had been getting a strange feeling from him, one that only increased when he married that sorceress whore. They both gave her the creeps last time she had went to visit her brother. So much so she had come up with a fail-safe for herself. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonidas faked the hurt. "Oh ouch." He said grabbing his chest dramatically. "So much so I think I may cry." he paused and dropped his hand back onto the saddle. "Least I know when it's time to stop and ask for directions." he grumbled to himself knowing full well she would hear him. "Lets just keep moving." Once again he raised his nose to the air and inhaled deeply. "I think I smell rain coming."

Gravagarra watched as the small child climbed up his right foreleg. He did his best to suppress his thoughts from his speech, but this was short-lived. The dragon let out a crackling growl of warning as a single, thick bolt of violet lightning arced from crest to crest up the dragon's back and neck to dissappear when it came in contact with his massive horn on his head. Gravagarra lifted the leg that the boy was climbing and tilted his head downward so he was staring dead into the eyes of the boy. "Now listen to me very carefully, child." The dragon said in a tone that demanded full attention and respect. "Being one of royalty is nothing to wave around like some cheap doll. The only followers you will gain then are most likely the ones still loyal to your family. Royalty is more than flaunting and expecting people to listen and obey. Take me for example. If you had been more of the gentlemenly approach, I would have helped you onto me, and let you do what you wanted, within reason. However, I am talking to you about acting like a fool in front of your family, King Afsana, and the others that are present here at the moment. With your current behavior, I have half the mind of filleting you with my bolts of lightning, but that wouldn't be accepted by your parents or my King. Though, your life is short and you are only young once, you should enjoy the time you have being little, but there are points in time to put that aside for your image and the respect of others. I am not some pet or play-thing to be climbed on, and any other dragon would have either done this and lectured you, or swat you like a fly and end you. Now," The dragon let his arm down close to the ground and shook the little human from his body. "- with that in mind, try again how a king or gentleman would address and ask for a ride on dragonback."
Eversor shrugged at Ackitahr's words. "Suit ye self. Hey! Why don't we all get outs'de 'nd I show the lot-a-ye what a real drunk'n dragon looks?! How 'bout it Aki?" the intoxicated dragon asked as he softly punched the general's shoulder in a friendly manner.
Karn raised a brow at the monk and was about to speak when his significant, quite literally, pounced onto Uru. A shame. The god was going to have a bit of fun with the monk's beliefs. "I can come again some other time? You seem a little too busy for my warning at the moment." he said as he continued his elderly act and hobbled off a bit in the direction away from the palace.
Nexus leaned against a finished wall as he watched what was happening between Uru, the demon girl, and Karn. He knew it was Karn. He knew it all too well as a heated hate for the thing he is swelled up within him like an infection. He wished to speak to Uru, but the former-necromancer refused to come any closer to the Dead Master who the monk was conversing with, though it seemed that Karn was leaving.

Afsana suppressed a laugh and attempted to fake a cough, "Yes, I think it's not the best thing to just leap on a creature, dragon or otherwise. Especially a dragon."
---
"Please, woman." Uru grumbled and pried the woman off of him, "Bother me later, I can't deal with you right now." He swiktched back to the "old man" and continued, "Not busy at all, why don't you share with me your, a warning, did you call it?"
---
Baleilei emerged from the woods, covered in flowers and smiling as she found Leonardo just getting back to work, "Hey there pussycat! Come with me, I need your nose." She snatched him by the wrist, "Let's go spread sunshine!"
---
"I'm alright, thank you." Ackitahr smiled up at the woman, then turned back to the inebriated dragon, "I don't think you should actually be outside, let alone flying around like a crazy thing."
---
Teinama sighed, "Yeah. Just some of what Chikanno has been seeing, and saying, has me thinking about him and what he's doing down there."
---
"Yeah, it's pretty cloudy." Ariasana retorted, "Too bad you can't see it. It looks like quite a shitstorm."

Simon fell off, and landed on his bottom. His large green eyes stared up at the dragon, his words replaying in his head. Thomas actually smiled. "Too bad your a guard Dragon, you would make a very good teacher. Simon, why don't you take his words and apply them." Clair was about to strangle her husband. "Or how about you apologize and come back here." She pulled her husband's hand and began walking to King Afsana. "I will do my best to keep these two off any of your other guards." She motioned to her side. She looked down Cassidy had just been there a second ago. Horror movie slow she looked back to see her daughter standing in front of the dragon next to her brother, who was still sitting on his a**. "Oh noble dragon." Cassidy said sweetly. "I know my brother in a idiot, but can you please forgive him?" She asked folding her hands behind her back and looking up thoughtfully. "And if it wouldn't be too much to ask for. May I take a ride?" She smiled again. Simon jumped to his feet almost bumping into his sister. "Yeah can we both take a ride!? I mean I never meant to offend you Sir Dragon." Clair shook her hunband's hand lightly. "Stop them, please." She said softly. Thomas shook his head. "Why? It's good for them to get out and have fun from time to time. If we keep them locked away, they will never experience the real world. And when it comes Simon's time to be king, he will be swayed by others, always having followed orders his whole life. He needs to learn to come up with his own ideas and see where they lead him." Thomas smiled down at his wife and could see her nerves leaning in he gave her a small kiss. "Calm yourself please. Remember, I would never let my children be killed." "But they could fall off." Clair protested. "Just as they could fall from a chair, or off their ponies back home." Thomas took his wife by the hand. "Let them have fun, my father did the same for me and I am still alive. And because of the way he raised me," He leaned down once more and lowered his voice. "I was able to meet you, and marry you. You can't say your unhappy about that." ~ ~ ~ ~
Skyden appeared to be unaffected by his words. "My love, who are you talking to?" She peered around Uru's shoulders and spotted the man. Shivered ran up and down her back and she took a step back with out even realizing she had done so. She blinked and and shook it off. "My love wants to talk to you!" She said with a smile ask she skipped around from behind Uru to the "old man". Careful not to hurt him, she picked up one of his frail little hands. "Please talk to him." She leaned in a lowered her voice. "He doesn't talk to many people just to talk, he needs more friends." She smiled brightly and pulled him back lightly. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonardo shook his head. "I am a little busy with this." He said holding the sack of wet clay up a little higher. "Maybe later. Excuse me." He said trying to get past the women. ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve excused herself and left to go take care of other guests. ~ ~ ~ ~
Nadia frowned. "You think he is doing some thing he shouldn't be doing?" She asked trying to think of the brother she had grown up loving being a truly bad person. She just couldn't imagine him being evil. "He's my brother. I don't he would do half the things you are worried about." Nadia defended her brother feeling like she had to. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonidas shrugged. "I don't need to see it. I can feel it and I can smell it." Kicking his horse he made it walk off. "Let's just keep moving. If we get stuck in the storm them we'll have to stop. Witch I don't want to do until night fall."

A month later
The palace is completely rebuilt, with the exception of maybe some refurnishing, and news of a new king has began to spread through the lands. Many people have been coming to meet the new king. The royal family that had been guests in the palace a couple weeks ago have returned to their homes. Every thing seems to be returning to normal Relationships are blooming, and love is in the air. Telmina has come up pregnant. Leonardo and Afsana are slowly becoming closer. The army is getting bigger and stronger. And with the red moon eclipse just a night away, some evil plans are about to be put into action. . . ~ ~ ~ ~
Nadia had been feeling slightly uneasy the past month. But she shrugged it off saying it was only because the over throw of Kurag. "Teinama?" she said walking into their bedroom. "Hey babe, I wanna make dinner. What do you want?" ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve over the last month she had been spending alot of her free time talking to Ackitahr. It was becoming apparent she had a crush on the man. Walking through the palace, if he wasn't out training the soldiers he would probably be in his cottage home, she began her search. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonidas sighed and scratched his head before loudly asking "Are we there yet!?" ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonardo laughed softly. "You have the worst luck of any one I know."
Abarden smiled "I know I just can't help it." "But breaking your arm after falling, from what a tree? That's bad, your a feline, learn to land on your feet like the rest of us." Leonardo looked down at the man's bandaged arm. "It's a shame you can't heal yourself better."
"Well I was trying to get the flowers in the tree, they have wonderful healing properties. And with the recent training regiment Ackitahr has been putting the men through, I need it." Abarden rubbed his arm lightly. "Any ways I need to get going I have some one to meet up with." Abarden turned on his heels and began to walk off, waving over his shoulder. "I'll see you around."
Leonardo shook his head and walked off, he would go visit the thrown room and see what was up there. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina groaned and rolled around on her bed. She was tired and didn't feel like getting up. But she was hungry, where had Eversor gone? He would get her some thing to eat if she asked him. "Eversor?" She managed to crawl out of bed and wonder around the room. She was in human form again. It seemed like she had been spending a lot of time in that form lately.

Eversor's head perked up when he heard Telmina ask for him. He was taking a nap in an ajoined side-room to his pregnant mate's main room, as her room was frozen over an uncomfortable for the Fire Dragon to spend the night in. In an instant, he was up from his coiled position on his bed. Going out looking for a sound spot to build a nest was hard work, especially when one didn't know the size of the litter he would be caring for. Eversor openned the door quickly, the metal doorknob cold to the touch and slightly sizzling to his heated touch. "Yes, my sweet?" he asked as he stode into the room. He too was in human form, but he was trying to hold more toward his drakonic movement, even while in this form.
Karn waved his hand overa long dinner table. A table cloth flew from a dark corner and gracefully layed itself out onto the table, as if of its own accord. He was going to invite Nadia to a friendly discussion over a small dinner. Convincing her to come without Teinama may be tricky if she questioned him about it. What he needed to do was to get her to come down to him alone, onto his plane. He continued to set the table for dinner as his thoughts wandered.
Adurnafor drifted along in the water of a pond not far into the woods nearby the palace. His mind and heart at ease, he was at peace as he felt the water's gentle strokes on his scales as he swam about. THe pond was of his own make, as he had brought up water from underground into a large bowl-like hole in the ground that he had dug into the earth.
Also not far from the palace, the earth shook and rattled periodically as Infernara and Gravagarra sparred. It was agreed to be a clean fight with no elemental or magic power used. To win, one would have to pin the other for a full minute. So far, the Storm Dragon had pinned Infernara a total of four times, while the dragoness had only done so once. And was being held again for a fifth pin. An embaressing score for Infernara, especially since they had an audience of one.
The Storm Dragon had his jaws at the dragonesses throat, holding her head in place against a large boulder at a right angle to the ground. His tail was wrapped around hers to keep an advantage in that sense while he now only had to keep Infernara in place long enough to tire her, as they had been sparring for some time now. Her forelimbs were proving to be troublesome as he tried to press his chest to hers to hold her in place. He was on top of her, for now, with her paws to his chest and holding him up from her with all her might. If Gravagarra pressed too hard, Infernara would push him to one side and he would only meet the earth with his redirected and lose his current advantage. It seemed a stalemate for the moment.
Infernara's teeth bared with her efforts of keeping the male dragon from pinning her again, but with her head tilted upward at sucha n angle, she couldn't see anything she was pressing or clawing at with her paws. The female heaved herself up, arching her back to help her push Gravagarra away from her. This was only met by the Storm Dragon pressing back on her, resulting in her sore muscles screaming at her to give as she struggled not to let the male's body come down on hers to win the fight for him.
Nexus sat on the ground, leaning his back on a tree as he looked down on a pad of parchment with a pencil-thin rod of charcoal in his hand. Periodically, he would look up at the two sparring dragons, then return back to his parchement and continue his drawing of the two. It helped to keep his mind at ease. Lately he'd been having an awkward feeling about his former-master. His underworldly instincts, although buried and rejected deep within himself, were giving him chills every few minutes. Something felt wrong. Very wrong.

"...And they dragged me out by my hair and accused me of being a witch!" Patilla finished his story from the smaller of the two thrones in the throne room. He, of course, was speaking with the king on the larger felt-covered bench beside him. "An- what the hell is so funny about that?"
Patilla's reaction of course was to the fact that Afsana had tears in her eyes she was laughing so hard. It took a moment, but when she had finally finished dying of laughter she wiped a tear from her left eye and cleared her throat, "Well, what would you have me do about it, sir?"
Patilla smiled and climbed out of his chair, taking Afsana by the hand, "Nothing, madame, just felt you could use a smile." He pulled her out of her chair and onto the open floor before them, "They haven't found you a suitable fool for your court I take it?"
"I have you, don't I?" Afsana laughed as she spun to face him, "Are you going to force your king into a dance?"
"I have used no force, majesty." Patilla lowered his head, mockingly because everyone was aware that Patilla was never really respectful. "Saltarello?"
"Who taught you to dance?" Afsana questioned him but bowed in return anyhow. Despite how empty and music free the room was, she would take him up on his offer, there was nothing else that needed her attention at the moment anyhow.
"Your mother." Patilla laughed straightening from his bow and snatching up the king's right hand with his, to begin their dance. Before long, the quiet, empty room filled with the sound of laughter and the footsteps of the two dancers.
"I must say, you are quite light on your feet, sir. Must be from all of the outrunning of the law you do. And other circumstances." Before finishing, Afsana noticed the lion demon entering the room and turned her head from her partner to face him, "Can I help you, sir? I'm in the middle of discovering a criminal's class."
"She's quite impressed actually." Patilla added, "In case you were curious."
"Oh yes, quite."
---
Standing outside in the courtyard, before flanks of assembled troops, Ackitahr was making the soldiers repeat again and again their exercises for training. Calling out the cadence for the men to attack, duck out and have the next row begin.
"Tell them all left leg forward." Baleilei, walking by, stopped behind the general for a moment to watch before giving her input. "Left leg forward, then step right for their individual attacks, they get the momentum from their turn for a more forceful blow, some of them have figured it out, but not all of them. It's something you have to instruct them on, not every man is a born fighter."
Ackitahr turned to stare for a long moment at her, but didn't say a word.
"What?"
"Aren't you a pacifist?" He cocked a brow and folded his arms, forgetting his cadence for the moment. He also caught a slight smell and wrinkled his nose curiously.
"Doesn't render me completely useless. Many men are happy in battle, and my search is for ultimate states of pleasure in the world!"
"You smell like tobacco smoke, do you know that? Very strongly, actually." Ackitahr tilted his head back a bit to draw in fresher air.
"Ultimate states of pleasure, sir!" She called back as she turned and walked away, "Ultimate states of pleasure!"
Ackitahr stared after her, quite unsure what to make of the woman before one of his men joke3d loudly that his little duckling was back to follow him around all day again. He spun around to see Maeve across the courtyard looking for him and sighed.
---
Maude smiled as she sauntered into the dining room where her husband was preparing for their guest of honor. "Any luck, darling?" was suppressing a mischievous smile for a few reasons but was wondering how getting Nadia to come to dinner was coming along.
---
Uru strode around the edge of the woods where he could see the dragons fighting, but was really paying them no mind. He seemed to be a bit preoccupied with his own thoughts. He sighed as he remembered Paha's daughter was probably behind a tree somewhere, staring at his backside and looking for the opportune moment to pounce. It was around that time he noticed Nexus, in the midst of his watching the dragons, experienced a sudden chill. He furrowed a brow and stepped closer, taking to his side, but still not sitting. He folded his arms into the sleeves of his habit and sighed, "It feels like a great omnipotent evil is lurking, does it not? I'd like to think of only sunshine and blossoming flowers like my sister, but, well, it's not so easy for the rest of us." He looked over his nose suspiciously at the man on the ground, "You don't know anything about this, by chance, do you?"
---
"Chi and Mala wanted us over for dinner tonight, love. I told them sure, then you don't have to cook and we can catch up with our lovely old friends, hm? What say you?" Teinama was laying over their bed, with his head hanging off the end, upside down, and holding an open pamphlet in front of his face.

Leonardo shook his head. Slightly stunned to see the two dancing. The boy alone would have been a sight, but to see Afsana acting the part of the lady and not the man, well that was some thing he wouldn't have guessed her to do. "I never would have imagined the king of thieves could dance." Over the last two months it seemed Leonidas had settled down. He wasn't in such a fowl mood all the time. "I say Patilla, you could probably woo ladies with your dancing elegance." ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve caught sight of all the men, Ackitahr had to be among them. Smiling she began a small walk over to them. She had a basket full of left over muffins and breads from the pub she worked at. They would throw it away if it was a day old. But because it was still good, she figured the men would like the little treat. Walking over she held open the basket smiling. "Want some?" She was clearly happy to see the Ackitahr. He was just so hansom, she blushed slightly and lowered the basket. ~ ~ ~ ~
Abarden frowned as he walked past Baleilei. He could smell the smoke coming off her like bad perfume. Wrinkling his nose he turned to say some thing to her about it. But decided against it last minute. He had work to do. ~ ~ ~ ~
Kadra sighed and rolled over. She was in a field, not too far from the palace, just relaxing. She had never been able to do this. Just enjoy the sun light and fresh air. ~ ~ ~ ~
Nadia smiled "That sounds like it might be fun." Walking over she sat on the edge of the bed. "what in the world are you reading?" She leaned over trying to get a better look at it. ~ ~ ~ ~
Skyden peered from around a large tree. The dragon's fight wasn't what she was watching, or even concerned over. No it was the monk. Sneaking around she crept closer leaning against another large tree. Smiling sh crouched down. All her muscles tense, wound tight, ready to spring at her target. When the monk turned to look down at the other man, she launched herself. Ready to land on his back. "URRRUU!" She squealed loudly. ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonidas groaned. "Admit it, you have no idea where we are!" He tossed his hands to the air and slammed them back down lightly onto the saddle "We are lost!" ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina smiled and walked toward Eversor. "Oh you look tired." She walked around him looking him over. "No wounds, so what has been keeping you up?" She asked walking back to her bed of snow and grabbed an handful before rubbing it on her arms. Eversor just put off so much heat. "Do you need help getting to sleep?" She asked with a saucy smile. Telmina began to prowl to him, but her stomach growled loud enough she knew he heard.

Karn, with a flick of his hand, manifested gorgeous silverware with matching plates and such. A centerpiece appeared as if it were part of the table it was on. The center of the table bulged and roiled until, finally, a beautiful set of black roses lay in a vase coated in a gleeming red with grey flowal designs that held a dark fascination to on-lookers. Karn didn't look away from his preparations as his wife entered the room and asked him about Nadia, which he couldn't help smirking at in inquiry. "A had asked her in regular intervals of tonight, and I'll remind her as soon as I'm done readying for her arrival." he said calmly and smoothly as he waved a hand toward the ceiling, where a crystal shandlier was molded from, as if it were installed by hand. Then, with a snap of his fingers, the room instantly lit up as floating orbs of light appeared, lining the ceiling edges to disperse shadows and give the room a more vibrant look. "How do you like it? Is it convincing?" he ask Maude, but didn't stop there. Karn then waved his hands in a succession of various angles and directions. Small convection waves pulsed from his fingertips as he cast wards to weaken magic of those who do not reside in the master's estate. He made sure to make the spell minor yet adjustable, so Nadia wouldn't notice it when she entered and so Karn could multiply its effects when he wished it.
Eversor tilted his head slightly to one side. "I've been out looking for a nesting spot. I'd rather they learn their methods and lessons from us and nature. We also need to find you a place to settle and stay in your true form. I fear that if you stay in your human form for too long, our children will develop more of humans than dragons.", he said as if it were the most serious thing in the world. He also tried not to make raising hatchlins in the palace not so much of a bad thing, as he knew that Telmina herself had been raised by Paha in his palace. Eversor half-smiled as he started toward his mate at the hint of lust, but stopped short when he heard her stomach argue with her loudly. He instantly went from mate to parent. "Uhh, I'll go get you something to eat? What would you want? Elk? Fish? Livestock?"
Gravagarra finally over-powered Infernara as her arms crumpled within themselves under his weight and held he torso in place with his larger chest.
Infernara grunted as the Storm Dragon's chest met hers, meaning that the fight was pretty much lost for her. He was too large and strong for her to counter anything, and she was just too tired if there was anything that she could do. "You win again." she said as her breathing came in heavy pants. She felt a familiar feeling of lust come over her as Gravagarra held her in place. "How about we spar with different swords, hm?" she asked the male with a sensual voice and a saucy grin. Instead of fighting against Gravagarra pin her, she pressed herself against him seductively.
Nexus continued to draw the two struggling dragons, even when he knew Uru was beside him. Though, he set down his rod of charcoal at the monk's question and looked up at him with a hard expression. "And just because of the fact that I used to be a slave to Karn and Death, you expect me to know about this ominous air that you feel?", he asked, almost as if he'd been accused of some crime, but then looked down at his parchment that he had been scribling on with various drawings of the two dragons in multiple positions. Nexus sighed. "But I regret to say that you're right, there's a foul breeze on the wind. I can feel it in my very bones." the man looked up and seemed to stare off into the distance passed the dragons. "Karn came to you a month ago. I know it. I can feel that creature's presence within ten leagues of me. He came to me also, preeching me with his dreams of a perfect world and that the time for it to become reality is nigh. That a time of peace and serenity is near. I have a grave feeling that this is his doing, and an even fouler thought that it isn't going to bode well. Karn's a monster which it comes to his ambitions, but as to those ambitions I know nothing. Though, I wish I did..." It then occured to him that he was staring dead at the dragons now, who seemed to want to mate. "Um, I think it would be our best interest to leave."

"Don't encourage him." Afsana grunted, "He's made enough of a mess with his lady-killing already."
"Afsana, we've been over this, I'd be doing this world a disservice if I didn't make offspring. Just like you. The world needs born leaders, especially as good looking as we are."
Afsana rolled her eyes, "Hard to believe he's been single all of this time, am I right?"
"Still single." The bandit corrected her, "And it'll stay that way, probably forever. I'm not settling down on purpose. If I did, I'd disappoint the world! There'd be no more Patilla to go around." He thought for a moment, "Who am I kidding, I'd still be a whore."
Afsana sighed and put a fist to her hip, "But you did come here for a reason I take it, General?"
---
"Don't reward them, they're being lazy today." Acktahr grumbled. Which was met with a few of the men replying "But boss!" Ackitahr payed them no mind and glanced down at the girl who had come to distract the men, "What can I do for you, Maeve?"
---
"It's lovely." Maude smirked, "I think she'll love it. So much in fact, I can't imagine she'll ever leave." She took another look around the room thoughtfully, but didn't have anything else to say about it, and after a long moment she seemed to snap back to reality, "Well, I'll be back in time for dinner, in the meantime, I've got a date with a seer and now would be a terrible time to miss out on that." She turned to walk away and, already lost in thought, proceeded out the way she came.
---
"There's an old saying, you know," The white-eyed man began, "it goes: 'Only people can draw the line between good and evil, and we draw it to best suit our needs.' Now personally, I don't think I've ever tried to define good or evil, because I've only done what I've felt is right. But I assume, if someone else was ever on the opposing end of a fight with me, they may consider me evil. Or, perhaps, they may even consider themselves evil and look down their nose at me as evil, so really, there is no true definition. What's more, everyone has personal ambition, it is less about whether or not those ambitions are evil or good, and more about to what extent one will go to achieve them. So, do I believe in good or evil? No, not really. I think you can be an ambitious person and do terrible things, but because your sense of right and wrong is somehow skewed. And that-"
"So you don't think Kurag is evil?" The man to his right was slender, with long black hair tied up casually, as he didn't have anyone to impress.
"Oh I'd ******** him up if I had the chance, but no. I think he's a d**k, but I told you, I don't believe in evil."
"Evil doesn't believe in you either." Their third companion, a bearded man, replied, slamming his empty mug down onto the table.
"Oh that's mature." White eyes commented, "My word, you're drunk and it's barely eight thirty. You're adjusting too well to this whole 'being dead' thing, do you know that?"
"It's been almost seventeen years, I think the adjusting happened a long time ago." His sober companion remarked.
"Yes, but what would your wife say?"
"She'd say hic 'Have another!' Which, my good man, is what I'm about to do!" The bearded man lifted a finger into the air and shouted, "Another, my good barkeep, for your favorite gentlemen!"
"Who's he talking about? Certainly not himself." White eyes blinked and turned, once more to his sober friend, "Is he really going to have more?"
The bearded man answered for himself, "Can't never have too much here, hic can yah?"
"Agree to disagree, my brother, but I believe you already have." The black haired man scoffed before he saw over his brother's shoulder. "Oh look, it's the lovely good queen b***h, to what do we owe the honor?"
"Shove it, Nihl." Maude approached the table where sat the three and glanced at the inebriated man on his barstool.
The man looked back at her for a long moment before firing back with words, "Piss off, whore."
Maude rolled her eyes and gave him a hard shove off of his bar-stool, and after successfully knocking him off, took his seat. "Stupid drunk."
"Matilda." The white eyed man began as if he were going to scold her, but her look in response reminded him that it would be pointless. Instead he sighed, "What? You want me to tell you that all of your wicked misdeeds will work in your favor and that you'll be successful in ruling the world? God awful place, I don't know why you'd want to be in charge of it. But that's it isn't it? Sorry, I can't say I know anything."
Maude's eyes narrowed as she stared him down for a long moment, "I'm not so sure you're telling the truth, Grigori, and I don't appreciate being lied to."
"I don't appreciate when you don't call me daddy, so, we're even."
"If you don't tell me what I want to hear, I'll wring the neck of that little wretch you had with the human whore."
"You are going far beyond the biggest b***h in the world, do you know that, majesty?" Nihl spit.
"Blow it out your a**, Nihl, I could kill that little Cretin you unleashed upon the world too, and I wouldn't think twice about it- but that may be doing humanity a favor." Maude barked back. She quickly turned back to her father, "I'm waiting."
Grigori stared her down for a long moment before he sighed, "Your sign of success will be not seeing any bats, they were in the vision where you may not have succeeded, but otherwise, you should, well, succeed."
"You mean that old man?" Maude stared the man down, "And you have seen the visions of our success?"
"It's been the most common prophecy this year." He averted his eyes, turning his head to the side.
"Good little fortune teller." Maude hopped off of the bar-stool, stepping over Millin, who was still on the floor. "Now I'll consider sparing your useless human daughter."
"Matilda!" Grigori looked back up at her like he might attack her if it would do any good.
"Calm down, Grigori," Maude put up and hand and smiled rather wickedly, "she'll be fine if she doesn't get in my way." And without another word, or hearing any of theirs, Maude stepped out of the room.
Grigori sat back down in his seat and buried his face in his hands, "We can't do anything, can we?"
Nihl pat him on the back and shook his head, "I don't think so, buddy." He sighed, "Our kids are a force to be reckoned with, you know that."
"Unfortunately, " Grigori replied, "Both of my daughters are."
"Did you mean what you said? About their success, I mean?"
Grigori sighed, "Unfortunately, I don't really know at all, but there are some factors that not even Karn could know about. My grandfather is, despite all common knowledge about him, a scheming b*****d. He's always got some ace in the hole. I just hope its good enough this time."
"If not there's always Teinama?" Nihl suggested hopefully, but his friend didn't look convinced.
"We can only count on him if most of the visions prove wrong." He sighed, "If not, we'll likely be losing the holy mother and father both in one night."
There was a long somber pause for a time before Millin lifted himself back up to the table, "Barkeep, where's my round?" He took back his seat and sighed, "I hope you two aren't over there looking depressed over the world you've parted from."
"Our children are there still, brother."
"And I, for one, have enough confidence in them to know better than to worry. In them and their allies, that is. You should too. Not to mention, there will probably be an Ustad there for every person, right Grigori? It'll be like you're there ten times over!"
Grigori let show a small smirk, "I wish I had the faith in everyone that you do, Millin, I really do."
"You used to." He nodded, "And then you were betrayed. But you should smile again, my friends, our children are well, and they are surrounded by good people - except for Nihl's son."
"He's not surrounded by good people?"
"He's not one of the good people either." Millin nodded. Nihl chortled quietly and took the mug as the bartender brought them their round. Millin started again as he had his mug in hand, "To better days after this whole mess is over, my friends, for our children and for us as well."
Reluctantly Grigori raised a glass, "and to what will be the most suspenseful night of our deaths."
"At least until our kids marry." Nihl nodded, "Well, your kids." He laughed and his friends joined in, after a swig he put his mug down and wiped his mouth along the length of his forearm, "Any idea what that ace in the hole is, Grigori?"
Grigori thought for a long moment before he nodded softly, "I might have an idea."
---
"An ego boost." Teinama shook it a bit to signal he was answering her question about the pamphlet, "It's about how great the holy mother and father are. You can read it if you like."
---
"I couldn't agree more," Uru replied, averting his eyes and preparing to walk away before he was attacked, "Ack!" Uru at first seemed as if he was unfazed, physically, by the girl's attack, before he seemed to comprehend what happened and fell forward introducing his face quite quickly to the dirt, "Hmmf." He grumbled and lifted his head shaking it quickly, "Could you not do that?"
---
"Sit on it, blindy. I told you already, we're just taking the scenic route! Just because you can't see doesn't mean I should have to suffer with nothing to look at but you for the duration of the journey."

Leonardo chuckled nodding his head. "Patilla, you have a knack for causing a mess." Rocking back on his heals Leonardo contemplated walking off an leaving the two to their dancing. His mind changed. "Your Majesty?" Leonardo asked taking a few steps forward. "Mind if I teach you a dance from my home village?" A small smile crept onto his face "Of course if Patilla is willing to let me cut in." ~ ~ ~ ~
Maeve smiled as she handed a bran muffin off to one of the soldiers who was chuckling at her. She found that odd, but didn't comment. "Nothin' really." She said glancing over at Ackitahr quickly then making her eyes dart away, not wanting to stare too long. "The pub just had all this left over, the king did say I could drop by. And I figured if I gave them food it would keep most of them out of the pub so I wouldn't have to deal with them tonight." She said pulling out a large banana nut muffin she held it out to the tall demon next to her. "here." ~ ~ ~ ~
Nadia took the pamphlet and read a few sentences and was no longer interested. "I don't really get into that stuff." She smiled and stood from the bed. "I think I am going to go do some work in the garden, I have kinda let it go." She said with a guilty shrug. "I guess I'll come back in an bath before it's time to go." Walking off Nadia wondered into her garden. Some of the flowers were over grown, and weeds were popping up in random patches. Sighing she set to work. Trimming up all the bushes that had began to over grow, pulling weeds and tending to all the flowers and trees that needed to be watered. She got to the rose bush that she had planted in the center of every thing. I was rather large, with several bright red roses blooming all over it's branches. Leaning in Nadia took a deep inhale of it's welcoming aroma. They were the first thing she had planted out here. To her they were a representation of her love for Teinama, each year the plant grew bigger, so did her love for the man. ~ ~ ~ ~
Skyden wrapped her arms around the man the best she could. "My love I missed you!" Snuggling her body so it pressed against his. She didn't care he was in the dirt. "If you didn't leave me I wouldn't have to come find you." Skyden said laying a kiss on the side of Uru's face. Grinning she leaned in again to whisper in his ear. "You know I'll find you, love." ~ ~ ~ ~
Kadra got up from her place in the field. It probably wouldn't be best to lay out in the open for too long. Brushing her dress off Kadra picked up the flowers she had gathered and began her walk back to the palace. Sniffing the small bunch of flowers she giggled. Maybe she could give them to Attorra. He wouldn't like them, but the thought amused her any ways. ~ ~ ~ ~
Telmina frowned. "These babies are making me too hungry lately." She rubbed her belly and sighed "Any thing. Just not fish. The thought of it makes me want to be sick." Telmina walked closer to Eversor again. "I think I will come with you actually." ~ ~ ~ ~
Leonidas sighed and leaned forward onto the horses neck. "Gods I want to get there already! My a** is sore I think I have a blister on it!" Groaning he ran an agitated hand through his hair and brushed it back off of his face. "No more "scenic route" just hurry up and get us there."

Karn nodded "Don't be too long. " he said before he stretched his telepathy to his sister gently and gingerly as a brother should. My, Nadia, it's been too long. How many years has it been? One? Two? No matter, I have a gap in my work tonight and I wanted to know if we could catch up on the passed time we have missed of each other. There will be food and luxury, if that calms you, sister. Will you come? Karn grinned and his point, serated teeth gleamed.
Eversor eyed Telmina, unconvinced. "I don't think you should be out hunting when you're so vulnerable. I can handle hunting for you, my Ice Queen." he said with a soft smile as he moved forward to embrace Telmina and give her a sweet kiss. "I won't be long. No fish right?"
Gravagarra blinked at the female. Mating? The thought had never occured to him before now.
Infernara only pressed against the male's body with hers more as she made a sort of crackles purring sound. "Come on, big boy. You know you want to..."
Nexus was lost in thought again for a few seconds before he had noticed that Skyden had pounced Uru again. What was that, the third time today? Fourth? "Dear monk, did you think over my offer for taking my under you divine wing? To better help in the forgiving of my sins?" he acted as if Skyden wasn't there. He was used to seeing the two of them together, not to the comfort of Uru.
Adurnafor was under the surface now, but could clearly see that someone was passing by nearby his pond. The dragon rose to the surface silently, only allowing his nostrals and brows to break the water's surface to maintain his stealth while also allowing him to see the person. It was Kadra, Kurag's daughter. He rather liked her, similarly to Infernara actually. With a small swirl in the water, the dragon changed form into a sort of merman. His alternate form. Adurnafor swam to the edge of the pond, which came at a small sudden cliff under the water's surface. He came up and crossed his arms on the shore, resting his chin on his arms. "Funny seeing you here, Princess."

Patilla shifted his glance from the King to Leonardo and back to his dance partner before holding up her hand and slowly handing it over to the lion demon, "I've got my eye on you, General."
Afsana laughed and waved Patilla off, "Of course you're a better influence than Leo, right Patilla?" she rolled her eyes and turned to face her new partner, "You think you can teach me something?"
"I'll be taking my leave then," Patilla bowed out and smiled before exiting the room.
---
Ackitahr scoffed, "If you didn't bring alcohol, then no, it likely won't keep them away." He shook his head at her offer though, "No thanks, I'm good. I've got to get these little bastards moving."
---
By the time Maude returned she was smiling as she approached her husband, "Guest of honor reply yet?"
---
Teinama rolled onto his stomach and lifted his head, watching Nadia walk out. He sighed and hopped out of the bed and walked toward the corner where he waved his hand, opening the drawer in the same direction. In it was a small bottle of light blue liquid, he flipped the top and stared at it for a while before putting the opening to his lips and downing what was clearly an unpleasant swig. He sighed and capped it, shoving it back in the drawer and waving a hand to draw a false bottom over the bottle and closed the drawer with his hip. He stared at the closed drawer for a while before he finally walked away.
---
"Tell you what, if you get her off of me, we'll start today." Uru writhed a bit, trying to crawl out from underneath her, however, he didn't seem to have any strength to muster.
---
"How about you lead the way then, oh great navigator. Hmm? I'll just step back and let you lead the way. Good luck." Ariasana growled at the Lion and turned up her nose as if he could see it.
