Hehe, no worries Elainee. I like helping out when and if I can. 3nodding Thanks for the thanks. mrgreen
At Elliptic, hey I feel the same about my characters. And like Elainee said, characters grow into their own. I had one where I was making a solemn quiet obedient girl, but after a few pages of writing, she turned into an abrasive, angry paranoid (with really good reason for it) teenager. And I found it all the funnier that I fell in love with her even more. I want you to know that Marcel is wonderful to read about and you are doing such an amazing job with him.

@ ElanieeNicolee
I...guess so? I mean, for a short while I actually wanted to be a writer. I absolutely love reading in general and writing just seemed like a natural step in the right direction. I love making characters. Thinking of how they will react or play out against others. Making ones with interesting names [a habit you probably noticed that with characters like 'Marcel' and 'Aquila']. But every time I start something I can't help but think things like: 'Is that right?' 'Does that seem real enough?' 'Is my character reacting as it should?' 'Am I even supposed to use a comma there?!?'
Not to mention my chronic procrastination when it comes to deadlines...the dream just kinda died on its own. I still love writing...but I usually keep it to things like roleplay. Writing is lovely, something that I can't exactly give up. And the feeling I get when something goes....right truly is what makes things as simple as a character flowing correctly worth it. But the doubt that comes with it...is something that I'm not sure I can completely grow out of...
@ Arthuritis592
Ah, Thank you. I have to admit that I don't rightly know what to say. I'm...just glad that I'm doing well, or mostly that you think that I am. I really try my best when it comes with my posts...especially considering the fact that they come far and in between as it is right now. But it helps that I have great people to play off of and in doing so gain the ability to grow. I personally like your character so far, and can't wait until he fully develops. I can't but be interesting in how he turns out in the midst of all this intrigue.
@ Isa-sama
Thanks. Hee, now if only Aquila was doing as well. I haven't gotten a complete feel for her yet. I want to make her a complete opposite from Marcel's character, but I constantly have to stop myself from making her as...aggressive. She's supposed to be a virtual ray of sunshine hiding a bit of dark cloud. He's supposed to be a rumbling thunderstorm hidden by deceptively calm winds. But their personalities seem to be crossing somewhat. Which is probably the reason I wrote the strange scene in the Music Room in the first place.
Slowly but surely going down a very 'moody' road. XP

Haha Elliptic, well we've yet to see much of her yet which is why I didn't say anything. I'm sure she's going to be a wonderful character. Besides, moodiness is a part of growing up and all it means is you get to play around with it more. At least we've got the excuse of these kids being teenagers.
Also everyone, uhhh there was a slight accident concerning Marcel's post and Sierra's. What I thought was a post was an accidental miss-click of a button. We're going to fix it soon so if it looks like Sierra is responding to something Marcel has not said, that's why. Sorry for any confusion!

Ahh! Its all my fault! I should have been paying attention. I sent out the old post in the forum because the new one changed what he said completely. Thus changing Sierra's response. So, no major changes have been made. I'm really sorry for causing this.
My mind isn't completely there when I haven't had much sleep.
|| EDIT ||
You know, with all the excitement of unwanted posting. I forgot to play out Aquila. She has basically been walking down the same stretch of hall for like...a while now. I should really settle her down somewhere....

Also, as you may be aware, things are going to be going downhill for Ephraim. I would also like to claim the characters Jafar and Genie from "Aladdin". They are in the works and I will post them in here as soon as humanly (or inhumanly) possible.
EDIT Btw, I am slowly but surely gathering enough items to make my avatar a sorcerer's apprentice. I reeeeeeeeeally need the enchanted book as it has an enchanted broom/mop which would be epic! I'm saving up, it'll take a while though lol

Dear ladies and gents, This semester has proven to be very much so crazy, and it's only just started. I think taking about 26 credit hours, even if they all deal with your major, would be as stressful and time consuming as it has turned out to be. I'll try my best to post as often as I can, and hopefully once things get into full swing, I'll have gotten into a rhythm and be less stressed and less busy which will leave me more time to post here. If need be, I understand if I am deleted from this RP; I just don't want you guys to think that I'm abandoning you guys or anything.

Not to be rude, but why the hell would you take that many credit hours??? My college put a limit of 20 maximum credit hours per semester because you need 60 hours of homework time per week on average if you take 20.

Chris, honestly, do you have time for three characters? Make two for now, and a third one when your schedule clears up.
edit: okay, here's an update to my life: tuesday is the end of the nine weeks! biggrin I'm going to finish the remainder of my make up work, which will take all monday.Tuesday and Wends i'll be able to post. Thursday i'm leaving for a ski trip. Though, i think my hotel will have wifi and since i am bringing my laptop to write whenever i can, i'll try to post. Though, i might not be able to. Then, the following Monday i'll be back for good. I'm going to be strict on my work for now on (Shauna, will make sure of that, i'm guessing), so i don't see myself falling behind again.
I might just wait til next Monday so can be consistant. Depends on how bored i get Tue & Wends. Though, i'm not allowing myself to post tonight and tomorrow, instead ima catcup on everything and work on Randy's profile, which is all most done!

How I Normally Look
Randy is a guy that one would describe raggedy. Everything about him seems unkempt and messy. His chin is always stubble coated, sometimes worse, and only clean shaven whenever the school insist on having a grand event and wants the best of students. His hair is always sticking up, and he continually runs his fingers through it, forcing it in random directions. Of course, his messiness doesn’t make him unattractive – he is one nice looking lad – and if anything, it makes him look all the better. His square face is defined, with well marked check bones, and a set jaw. He has piercing brown eyes, and long lashes giving him a look full of mischief. This look is emphasized when the boy smiles his signature smirk, which always means he’s up to something. When he’s smiling in general, regardless of a smirk or not, you can see it in his eyes and his whole face starts to glow, giving him a rather charming façade.
The lad’s skin is a deep tan, which even though it makes him glow, it also emphasizes the scars covering him. They’re all small, from small scratches when climbing trees or scraps from falling. Yet, if he weren’t so tan, you wouldn’t notice them at all. Being anything but thin, he’s well built and very manly looking. His tummy is flat, and as anyone could guess, toned. As are his thighs, calves, biceps, and everywhere else. He’s a real outdoorsman.
His clothing emphasizes both parts of his nature. They bring out his childlike mind by their endless rips and tears. The jeans are often cut off at the knee, that or, the thread repeatedly shows and sometimes his bare skin, depending on the size of the hole. His shirts, much as you’d imagine a ruthless man to wear, are button up and plaid. However, he wears plenty tee shirts, most with designs on them. He’d rather go barefoot than wear shoes, which he so often does, however when they are worn, they’re either hiking boots or boat shoes. They’re typically scuffed, just as the rest of him seems to be.
Everything about him is carelessly done. His clothes are thrown on in a rush, and only match because he clothes never really vary in color, always neutrals. His hair is combined in an instant, and never fiddled with again except by his overlarge hands. His teeth would even be neglected, if it weren’t for a post-it-note on his mirror to remind him. His overall body seems to add even more to this careless appearance, with random cuts everywhere and calloused hands. Looking at the boy, one can already determine so much about him; he’s careless and messy.
Fairytale Appearance
Just as shown in the Disney movie, Slightly is dressed as a fox. To any vegan’s dismay, the outfit is made from real fox skin. He wears a bomber hat, with beautiful auburn fox ears attached and fix fur on the parts that fold up and hang down over his ears. What isn’t made of fur on this hat is a deep brown. His outfit is a beautiful auburn brown fox coat, which is worn over a roughly sewed white tee shirt. His pants are roughly sewed trousers made from dark brown jean fabric, and they are cut off at the knee, and have more tears than his typical clothing.
When he is dressed in this, his face is smudged in dirt. His hands are dark as coal, and his feet are bare. Typically, he looks a mess, but in this outfit, he looks as if he hasn’t bathed in days. Luckily, they don’t require him to smell as awful as he looks, so despite the dirt, he is very likable.

How I am
Randy has one trait that shines more than all the others, his absolute helpful nature. Want to play a prank that might get you expelled? Ask Randy, he’d love to help! Want to woo a girl? Ask Randy, he’ll be your wingman! Honestly, it doesn’t matter what you’re asking; he’s your guy. There’s just one flaw, you have to ask at the right time. If there’s more than one person asking him of a favor, he just might charge. That or, if you hit him on a bad or greedy mood, expect to pay. Some days, he’ll do whatever you want with no charge and no fuss, others you better pay and pay big. The thing is he’s so random with this you’ll never know. Even his pay is random, he may want cash one day and a bundle of sticks the next. In addition, he has no alliance whatsoever. Whether it is for the school vs. home, of a friend vs. another, he doesn’t care. He will never chose sides. Instead, he’s the biggest double agent and often times he helps two people fight each other. It’s not that he likes the drama of being a double agent, but instead, he just doesn’t care.
Randy doesn’t really care for anything. If someone does him wrong, he just rolls his eyes and blows it away. Even if someone does him right, he thanks them and moves on. He doesn’t care about school, about clothes, about anything. He just does what he wants with no regrets or second thoughts. To him, life has no consequences. Even if it did, he wouldn’t care. The only thing he ever cares about is when someone asks him to tell what he knows; he will never ever snitch. Because of this, when the school tries to get him to rat someone out, he stands through whatever punishment they throw his way. And, when he hears someone snitch, they should expect to be miserable for many, many days. Due to his privacy, he knows more about the school and its students than anyone else.
Randy is also the sweetest guy in the planet. If he wants to make someone’s day, he goes above and beyond. This is regardless is the person is a friend, or more, he doesn’t care. He just likes to make people happy. One time, he found a girl crying in the library. That day, he used his infinite resources to find out what her favorite food was. Then, he used even more of his infinite resources to talk the lunch ladies into making it, despite it actually being a challenging meal. Then, while everyone ate dinner, he played her favorite songs over the intercom in the school. The girl still doesn’t know who did it, but she has a hunch, and she’s loved him ever since. This wasn’t the first time he did something nice and extravagant for someone, and it certainly wasn't the last. That’s why most people cannot be mad at Randy for hurting them in a favor for someone else, since they know he meant no harm, that inside he’s just a big teddy bear.
In short, Randy is a double agent who doesn’t care for either side. However, when he’s not working against someone, he’s a sweetheart. That, and he’s the best secret keeper in the world.
How I came to be
Born in the richest of all Hollywood, Randy learned at a young age that money talks. When his father, a movie producer and always away, was too busy for his kids, he’d just buy them something and they were satisfied. When his Mom, a model, would be off in Paris for a shoot, she’d always send them sweets and goods and everything else. Randy was satisfied with this, and he was all right with not getting attention as long as he was taken care of. Sadly, Randy’s parents didn’t really give him any attention, he was the middle child and he wasn’t so well in school. His parents paid attention to his older brother and younger sister whenever they were in town, but he was easily neglected. Even once, he overheard his mother asking, “Who is Randall?” when someone asked about the young boy. Sadly, the only one who really cared was his maid (all of the kids were given their own maid) and he spent all of his time with her.
Her name was Marcie, and she was by his side all day. Sure, it may have been her job, but she brought the boy up right. She disciplined him, taking away the bits of his spoiled nature; this appalled the siblings, who were spoiled immensely. She also taught Randy the importance of a favor, and he soon found the love in helping people. Thus, started his childhood where he’d help his siblings pull pranks on each other. He always had the hunch that this wasn’t what Marcie had meant by a favor; nonetheless, it was his favorite thing.
His love for this maid continued to grow, that is until the day she died. It was by old age and was no big deal to everyone else; he was given a new maid right away. Yet to him, it was heartbreak. He cried and cried over the loss of his best friend. He was young, but the impact her death had was tremendous. He grew detached from his home. It wasn’t that he blamed them for her death, but instead he found he just didn’t care. He didn’t love nor did he hate a soul there. Therefore, he lived in his home for the next four years not caring about it or its occupants.
It was when a letter for a prized school came that Randy’s parents actually paid him attention. He smiled at them, and enjoyed his fifteen minutes of fame. Yet, they were only that, fifteen minutes. He soon left, packed up all of his riches and sent them ahead, and then landed right at the school’s front gate. When he found out his fate, he just shrugged his shoulders and simple replied ‘cool’. The administrators were surprised by his response, or lack thereof, but they let the boy in eagerly, glad he suited his part so well.
A love hate relationship begun between the school and the boy. They loved him since he helped with their endless favors to keep the school united, as long as they did not require secrets being told. However, that was their problem; he wouldn’t tell them anything. This never stopped, and again and again the boy found himself sitting in the administrators office being begged to give away all of his knowledge.
s o m e o t h e r i n f o r m a t i o n
There's something else you ought to know
Being the odd boy that Randy is, he carries a quarter in his pocket. He finds this helpful when he absolutely has no time to help someone, and he must chose if he should or shouldn’t. In addition, with his nonchalant way of doing things, it helps him make many more decisions. Many days, he’ll walk the school flipping the quarter in the palm of his hand, never once has he dropped it while it flipped.

How I Normally Look
Wiry, Fit, Handsome, and Masculine. Steve never had a problem with the ladies. Not that he's a player, he's not! He just never had a problem with getting a girl. Well, not because of his looks anyway. Chris has dark brown hair that falls around his face and he lets it do as it wants, never bothering to style it. Sometimes it sticks out at odd angles sometimes it lays flat sometimes it does both, it's really all based on the last time he washed it. Stephen has two lip rings, one on each side of his bottom lip. His eyebrows are sharp and well kept but never "over" groomed. He has no facial hair, and can't really grow much yet. Steve's eyes are brown, brown and sparkling. His skin is naturally pale but with the amount of time he spends outside has turned a tad darker then he would have been years ago.
For everyday wear, the kid likes Casual jackets and long sleeve thermals. He likes jeans or khakis, nothing to tight or expensive. If it cost more then thirty bucks he won't wear it. Well... Unless it's a gift, he likes gifts. His favorite jacket was a gift. It cost forty three dollars of the rack, but the guy who bought it for him was a good friend so... what's a kid to do? Steve's shoes are just running shoes, nothing fancy, nothing interesting, they are dark brownish gray in color and caked with dirt. Fairytale Appearance
Dark brown leggings that stretch with him, they are very easy to move in and keep him both warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Paired with his green tunic and thick leather belt, Robin Hood is dressed up to bland in, well... All except that bright red feather in his cap. It didn't come from a robin, it came from a cardinal, but don't tell anybody. If someone asked he'd say it was from a red breasted robin. In character Robin wears his leather quiver on his back and his little sword hangs from his belt. He always has his bow on hand, even if it's not very appropriate. Having the thing in his hands makes him feel comfortable.
y o u o u g h t t o k n o w
How I am
A risk taker, but that of calculated risk. Stephen's a gambling man. He likes to have that little thrill, the roll of the dice, the smooth gleam of a new deck of cards. It's all in his range of understanding. Steve lives life like one big game. He thinks about his action only for a moment before rolling the dice and hoping for a winning streak. To most people, Steve seems overly confident and a bit of a show off, and that's not to say they are wrong but he has his reasons for showing off... It's in his blood. He has to. If he were back home, if he were any where else he would have been famous and he'll let you know that right now. He would have started the biggest Non-Profit this side of Denmark! Steve gets worked up easily, he sees competition as a reason to work harder and become amazing at something that he use to be only good at. If he has competition he must crush it. With all that said, The boy's got a soft spot for the less fortunate. He would do anything for a friend, for someone who needed him. He's noble in that way if not in others. How I came to be
Stephen was born into a rich family. His father was an Olympic athlete, and his mother was a porn star. Supposedly it was a match made in heaven. As long as it was just the two of them, it was. Once he was born, he was basically ignored. Raised by a nanny while his parents were off taking care of their careers. His mom even told him once that she had thought about having an abortion with him, just so he wouldn't ruin his figure. Gee, thank's mom.
Anyways, he was given many gifts to distract him from the lack of parent interaction. Fancy lavish things, top of the line new gadgets, and the like. He never used them though. He hated how the money had turned his parents to uncaring assholes. So, he gave them to local orphanages or the homeless, just so they'd have something to make them happy. It made him feel really amazing to see the looks on their faces as they enjoyed their new toys. It was like a high to him, and he was barely in middle school at the time.
So, the things he gave away became more lavish, things he'd take from around their house. Eventually it got to where he'd crack his parent's safe open and take out money to hand out to the less fortunate. It was worth it, even when his parent's found out and his dad beat the crap out of them. There was no way they'd get any of what he'd given back. So, they found a way to claim it on their taxes. Figures.
As a way to distract him from the incessant giving and stealing, his dad forced him to take a sport in middle school. He tried basketball, soccer, football. They all sucked. His true calling, he finally found out, had been archery and track. He could run like no other, and aim precisely. So much so that he could shoot through an arrow stuck in the bulls eye.
Not long after he had discovered his talent, he received a visit from the Academy. They told his parent's they would reform him, and make him stop stealing and be a respectable young man, all without a penny out of their pockets. They instantly sent him away, and he now couldn't be more happier.
s o m e o t h e r i n f o r m a t i o n
There's something else you ought to know
Steve has been taking bets on the goings on of the school with Randy since they bother started. They boy's no good and Steve knows it... But he is one of few that will perpetuate his gambling habit. .::Royal Mango King::.{Blond and straightened}

Back from the dead! Which...just means that my internet started working again. I love Wi-Fi. But sometimes it just sucks....

Ooh~
Loving the profile ElaineeNicolee! You know, I've always wondered about Vegans. I mean, I know that they are related to Vegetarians in the way that they don't eat red meat. But they're so close in both of their lifestyle, or at least to an outsider looking in, that I get confused on both of their main points.
I understand that a Vegan doesn't eat meat or wear certain materials because of the explotation of that animal or even plant. While a Vegetarian's way of life mostly involves their diet and no consious thought as to the...animal in general. Or...yeah, I'm trying to explain what I mean. But I'm just getting more confused. But there's a question in there....somewhere....
