Whaddya need to know? :3

When an NPC is put up for auction, you post the price you offer. If someone bids higher than you and you want the NPC, you'll have to bid even higher than them.

If you win, you must send a trade to the appropriate account (zOMG Chatterbox Mule) with the winning bid.

"Winning" an NPC consists of having thenm do whatever you want (within the ToS of course), such as hanging out on zOMG or defeating the EB or whatever.
