Alpha: Sun Down-- To Sun up (DAY CHANGE)
Isabella sighed when Alek stopped replying to her… She’d thought that for once…Just for once, maybe he would hear her. Understand. Either he was in shock, from seeing his ex, or she’d only made matters worse. She bit her lip for a moment as she rose to her feet, running a hand through her hair as she looked down at him—Jade eyes quiet. There was no accusation in them… No judgment…Just resignation.
“If you still want to leave…Call me on the comm, and I’ll let Emma know, and she’ll escort you. You shouldn’t be alone incase Daniel shows back up… I don’t think he wants to hurt you…But, just to be safe. You can go first thing in the morning.”, she breathed gently. She looked at her ice user a moment longer, seeming to want to say something else, before her hand went to his shoulder. Giving it a comforting squeeze, she leaned down and kissed his forehead gently, like a sister would—Before the songstress disappeared. Gone the way she’d arrived, faster than the eye could follow—The curtains billowing to the window, showing the path she’d chosen. Only her words lingered…
~You’ll make the right choice.~ ** Isabella was going to head back outside—Go back to the bonfire…But she was suddenly tired. She felt older than she actually was, as if being in the X-Men had shaved decades off her life. She went back inside the condo from the front door…Footsteps near silent. Besides, that man Daniel made her nervous…How he had found them so easily, made her nervous. If he came back anytime soon, the songstress would hear him long before he arrived.
She went to her room, closing the door behind herself… Her whole body leaning against it for a moment, forehead pressed against the cool wood as she swallowed what might have either been a sob or a scream. Why she was so… Emotional, was beyond her. Was this all because Alek wanted to leave the team? Leave them behind? Was it because her boyfriend would rather spend the evening on an Island with Narcissa, than with her? That…She wanted to so badly to go drag the rest of the Alpha’s inside, where she knew they would be safe?
Bella worried too much. She knew it… So it was better that she stay away from the bonfire for the rest of the night.
Either way, she felt drained…Tired. So very tired. She kicked off her flipflops and peeled out of her sand infested clothing, leaving it where it fell. She groped in the dark…Using her sonar to find what she was looking for instead of turning on the light. One of Gideon’s shirts to sleep in…The dresser to set her jewelry on… To the bathroom to brush her teeth... Gideon’s shirt came down to her knees—Hiding her bright pink undergarments just as well as a her pajama’s would, keeping her modesty in place.
The songstress was half asleep as her head hit the pillow, curled up under the blankets—Her back to the door, eyes to the open window as she threw her hearing out…Sweeping, just searching… waiting. She was a very light sleeper…Oddly enough, it was an acquired habit… She kept herself just awake enough to silence herself when she slept.
She was horribly embarrassed that she snored loudly.
But it made her a light sleeper…And as she drifted off, she kept sweeping the surrounding area…Not completely asleep until her ducklings came back to the condo. **
\---------->Day Change<---------//
** The Siren woke up to the sound of seagulls, the sun shining through the window… It looked like it had just come up, from the shadows it cast. She reached out beside her, looking for Gideon—Only to feel empty air. She sat up slowly, face a little confused. She didn’t think he’d even come to bed…His side looked undisturbed, which was strange. He usually unintentionally made a mess of things.
Still…She felt far better than she had the night before, more energized—Peppy almost.
She sang through her shower, careful not to break anything—And dressed in a short distressed jean skirt, and a flirty emerald green, mostly backless, tank top. It just seemed like the perfect day to wear green, oh, and pink too! Pink was the best color…She fished out a pair of glass rose earrings and set them into her lobes, her hair falling in its natural waves. Bella frowned at herself playfully in the mirror and tugged it neatly into waist length low twin ponytails.
Lip gloss applied, she danced out of her bedroom... And down towards something that was starting to smell good in the kitchen. She was surprised to see Scott in an apron that said ‘Kiss the Cook’, making breakfast. He and Emma had their own sleeping quarters in the guest house, but they all shared the kitchen. He looked completely lost, scratching his head while reading a package…Bells covered her mouth with both hands, and snorted, finding his expression hilarious.
He turned quickly, dropping the eggs he’d been holding—Causing her to laugh harder. “Not funny—You did that on purpose didn’t you?”, Cyclops demanded, glaring at her through his too cool to ever just be a fashion statement ruby shades, his hand lowering from them—Going back to his cooking. Or the attempt he was making. “No, but I wish I had—You should have seen your face! I thought you were going to blast me into a wall…”, she chortled, dancing towards him, peeking over his shoulder. He smelled…Nice. “I’ll have sunnyside up please—Not the ones from the floor. You can save those for Cissa.” “Who said I’m making you anything?”, he returned, moving away from her and towards the counter to get paper towels to clean up the mess. “You kids get to fend for yourselves on vacation—Remember?”“But I don’t want to fend for myself…”, she pouted, batting her eyelashes, and he turned back towards her—And she could almost picture him rolling his eyes. Bella tilted her head and pointed to the absolute giant stacks of pancakes that were sitting in the over—Keeping warm. Suddenly, she was starving… “You made all that for you and Emma?”Scott Summers gave her a dirty look, one she could only tell was dirty—Because of the familiar pinch in the corner of his mouth. Speaking of his mouth…He had a nice one. He had a nice face, actually… Something she liked to look at. It was familiar… The angle of it was just so. Though, the glasses were a staple…Sometimes, she wished she could see behind them. Her hand was moving towards his face, wanting to find out what the stubble felt like… The Siren hadn’t realized their faces getting closer, until they simply were that close—He dropped the paper towel roll he was holding, and suddenly he was touching her hair with what seemed to be equal fascination.
Bella felt her face warm, but didn’t quite comprehend what was happening until the timer on the stove went off—Snapping them back into the present. Scott immediately backed up—And Bella looked, almost as horrified as he did. She was...His student, first and foremost. Always his student. Not...Not what had just played through his head.“What the hell?”, she whispered, leaning against the fridge, heart pounding in her chest… “What…the hell?”“You should go. Now… Right now. Go get Emma.”, her mentor, and up until today father figure spoke firmly, his hands in fists at his side as the timer kept going off. Neither one had turned it off yet. “I—““Now!”Bella disappeared, a blur of color in her wake. She didn’t need to be told again…If she stayed, just a second longer…She knew that bad, bad, unquestionably bad things were going to happen between herself, and Cyclops. Christ, Cyclops!
Worse, was that she wanted to turn right around—And let it happen.

Project KILLJOY She laughed gleefully… They couldn’t hear her, of course… But still, she’d laughed. It was starting…Already. It had at least…A few hours to settle into some of their systems. Her boss would be glad to hear that the Stone girl was already…Suffering its effects. For some reason, he didn’t like her—Or a few of the other females at all. It entertained her that at least one of the chaperone’s, it seemed, was also infected. The serum was…Absolutely perfect for a bunch of hormone raging train wrecks—As they all clearly were. It was unique…It adapted, enhancing emotions already felt by the user. Sensations were… Better, softer, or stronger, depending on the infected person’s preference. Each emotion felt is amplified and twisted… The best of friends could find themselves…Locked in a closet some where, or at each others throats. It also came in waves, her psychosis preventing them from escaping when they came down...But even when the wave ended, they still weren’t quite rational… And would quickly forget what they had been doing previously…Unless there was a love strong enough, that it twisted into a violent obsession. That would be reoccurring, for the next twelve or so hours. It was made specifically for those with powers that staved off things like this…Made with organic compounds so bodies wouldn’t reject it, but welcome it, until it was too late. Every cycle it mutated… Each time the madness came and went, the serum changed its structure just enough so that the healers couldn’t avoid it. There was no specific amount of time the serum would be in effect before they calmed for a brief period—Usually it would take something sudden to startle them out of it—Or something bodily painful. Like opening a vein. They were themselves… But without the will to stop any want, any desire—Not for long. It was ‘Want, take, have…’. No matter what the cost—No matter who saw them. Or tried to stop them… Laws no longer mattered...Inhibitions were things of the past. It was beautiful really. She had snuck in, without actually needing the disguise she’d prepared… Barely anyone had been inside the condo, and the guest house had been empty. She’d installed the camera’s as instructed—And added the serum to the air purifying system. The house would breathe it in as they slept…The surrounding area would be saturated with it. It wouldn’t touch any other area on the island…But even within fifty feet of the condo…They would still be susceptible. It also spread by touch—But was designed specifically for those with the X-Gene. So if an infected person made skin to skin contact with an uninfected—Or an uninfected came into the air space of the infected area… They would have no defense to it. Hopefully they would all contract it before they were able to raise an alarm. She doubted the Stone girl would get far before something or someone caught her attention. Symptoms: Excessive cheerfulness, Enjoyment of bright colors, Strange textures, fabrics, and bright lights. Inability to control impulses—Finding a friend attractive, where they never where before—Or wanting to kill a significant other for something inane. The only side effect, was a hangover the next day—And a craving for food the whole time. Even if they wanted to try escape…Every path they took would just lead them back to the condo, to keep them quarantined. Her father was….Discretely herding those that might have stayed out all night, back to the infected area. How he was doing it, she didn’t really care. So long as everyone got a taste of project KILLJOY—Her objective was complete. Now it was time...To kick back, and watch these pathetic little X-Men put on a show. (Be as crazy with this as you like— They are, restricted to the forest, water, and beach area surrounding the condo...(And of course the condo itself)The infected can't be allowed to wander around town. Think of it as...How Emma Frost described the drug Kick-- "Feeling perfectly angelic and violently insane for hours..." If you have questions, PM AR)

Omega: Abusing the Alpha - Day Change (Condo Porch) Narcissa walked up the front steps, her boots off colored from the dusty sand…She’d have to clean them later. So, to her…Pleasure, and dismay— Gideon hadn’t skewered her. But had actually laughed at her suggestion of him offing her… Maybe he didn’t quite get that she’d been…Completely serious. Or, perhaps he did. And still, somewhere in his adamantium cranium--- Still found a way to smile. She wished she was that resilient. The sun came up and slowly warmed her skin… It felt good. Clean and pure...Unfiltered. Invigorating. Made her feel alive… Her hair became more golden when the sun came, losing some of its silver sheen that it had under the moonlight. Her skin darkened only slightly... She never tanned darkly because of her mutation, but was just slightly darker during the day than at night. It happened, almost unnoticeable to the untrained eye—So subtly, that no one would have ever noticed the difference… If they didn’t know better. Some of her conversation with Gideon was spent in silence…Though strangely a comfortable one. He let her talk…And abuse him as much as she wanted. Which wasn’t an overly large amount considering he didn’t seem like he wanted toy provoke her much. It actually…Did seem to help her temperament…Just being around someone who had just as much blood on their hands, and just as much of a monster buried inside… Seemed to help. That, and she knew that if she got out of hand… She could always count on him to take her out of the game. Though she wondered…Would he still regenerate if there was nothing left but metal? If every cell had evaporated? Now that was a gloomy thought…Though she had seen Wolverine come back from some…Nasty wounds. She took a seat on the porch, far enough away from the door that they wouldn’t be overheard… “ You’re going to sleep all day now you know, watch Stone make you sleep on the couch—“, she paused…” Do you even need to sleep?”Narcissa knew she didn’t…But that usually didn’t apply to the rest of the world. It was about an hour later of sitting, talking about things better left unsaid that Narcissa started to feel a little strange. Overly warm… As if she were using her powers…But she was actually the calmest she’d been in days. She looked down at herself… Looking for the telltale glow…But nothing. “Is it…Do I look…Odd, to you?”, she questioned, looking at him intently. “I mean…My eyes, are they...white?” She already knew the answer. No, they world be normal cerulean blue…The outsides of her hands felt normal temperature. But inside she felt like she was slowly burning…Like she was using energy… But she wasn’t. Blinking she shook her head… It must just be that they’d stayed out all night. She had actually been sleeping a lot since Emma forced her to start. Sleeping was a choice for her…Not a necessity. Glancing back At Gideon…Who had said nothing so far, she touched his shoulder…Annoyed that he seemed to be ignoring her. “What’s with you space cadet? Cissa to Planet Oz…”He looked at her, and she blinked again, drawing her hand back. “Gideon?”

Omega - Fifty year old cartoons RULE!
The rest of the night was completely uneventful for Christian. He sat, with his back to the rocks, just mulling over his own thoughts. He didn’t linger there too long, the sounds of the party overhead kind of grating on his last nerve. Fifteen minutes went by, and he stood up slowly, so he could stumble back to the condo.
It seemed three rather large cups of beer was his absolute limit, that coupled with what energy he leeched from Raine while she danced did well to muddle his mental faculties. The one thing he remembered doing on the way back to his bed as letting loose what little energy he held within him over the water, not caring if people saw him or not.
When Christian had finally made it back to the condo, he took care of his now dry clothing that he had hanging on the back railing. Thankfully, it looked like his hat was even dry, and that small victory put a smile on his face. Slipping it over his head, he grabbed up his garments and took them inside to his room. Take care to fold them all up and put them back into his duffel, Christian was being the model of efficiency. He’d only been back at the condo for five minutes and had taken care of everything he needed to. Not only that, he managed to get a glass of water in an effort to stave off the eventual headache he knew he was going to get… Hell, he could feel it creeping up over the back of his head as he sat on the edge of his bed.
He wasn’t sure if there was anyone else sharing the room with him or not, and Christian didn’t rightfully care. Without thinking, he stripped down to his boxers and tank top before crawling his country backside into bed. Despite the severe storm of thoughts running through his mind, he fell asleep rather quickly and for that, he had only the alcohol in his system to thank.
** A Few Hours Later
Christian stirred out of bed at roughly 6 am. He had only managed to get about five hours of sleep, which was his norm. But this morning was slightly different. It wasn’t just the slight headache that he had buzzing around, but he felt even… odder than usual, especially after having drinks the night prior.
He pushed those thoughts out of the way as he dug out a pair of shorts from his duffel along with his running shoes. This morning was the first in a few weeks that he didn’t wake up in the Infirmary or some otherworldy dimension and he was going to take full advantage of that; it was time to get back to his own personal routines.
After dousing his head under the shower spigot momentarily, Christian ducked out of the condo’s backdoor and began morning jog. He did a few laps around the condo itself before he decided to meander through the woods. Nothing like having to duck under branches and jump over roots to work out his agility. He spent roughly and hour just running through the forested area, thoroughly enjoying himself before he realized what time it was and deemed it necessary that he had spent enough time on his own, doing his own thing.
The moment Christian walked through the back door, near his room, he heard a loud commotion coming from somewhere in the condo. It wasn’t that he could hear everything, it just seemed like the condo either had really good or really bad acoustics. Christian couldn’t tell which. He paid no mind as it was, all he did was slip back into his room to get himself cleaned up properly.
Thirty minutes passed and Christian was heading out his door, his head still wet from the shower he had just recently finished. He could tell that today’s weather was going to be slightly more humid than yesterday’s and dressed accordingly in a pair of khaki board shorts and a white tank top. He eschewed footwear, knowing he had absolutely nothing on his agenda today, just sitting back and relaxing, taking in the sun if and when he could.
Quietly, he entered the kitchen and saw Cyclops standing there. Christian didn’t say a word as he grabbed a rather large and empty mixing bowl. For some reason, his appetite was voracious…
Ducking his head into the fridge, Christian began to just grab any and all pieces of fruit he could find. There were a few oranges grabbed up, about five apples, a few bunches of grapes, pears, peaches, a couple bananas and yes, even a mango. Absently, he grabbed another peach and began to just hold it, letting the fruit run around in his hand. It was fuzzy, like a nigh hairless kitten, and for whatever reason, that amused him to no end.
Christian backed away from the fridge, the filled bowl resting between his left hand and hip and the peach rolling around in his right mitt. He didn’t think twice about gently kicking the fridge door closed on his way out. His only thought was completely devouring everything in that bowl. Making his way from the kitchen, he found himself wandering to a room with a rather large flat screen TV. Christian took a seat at the far end of the couch, grabbed up the remote and turned on the box… before he found himself watching some random Tom and Jerry nonsense.
“Heh.. this is funny,” he said to himself, his voice garbled with his mouth full of fruit. He couldn’t help but to laugh uncontrollably when he saw the mouse hit the cat with an iron. “Why have I never seen this before?!?!” Christian kept on laughing, stopping every once in a while to prevent the half chewed up food in his mouth from choking him.

Omega: Catalina – Finishing out the Night // Perky Wake Up Call Kerrigan smiled as Aren and Shandra made their way to the dance floor, the redhead watching after the momentarily before going back to draying herself off slightly. Pulling her white top over her head, revealing only the maroon and black lace corset, she twisted the top to get all the water out, tossing dripping curls out of her face the whole time. Her backside was covered in sand from when she sat down, the wet of the jeans coupled with sand in her waistband becoming more painful the longer she stood there. It was clear that she needed to go and change, though part of her didn’t really want to leave the bonfire. While moments before she had been angry enough to burst, looking back she was actually having an alright time…and she still found herself wanting Jack’s attention. Seriously, what the hell was wrong with her? Clearing her throat slightly as an attempt to get rid of her own thoughts for the moment, she was deliberate not to look at the muscle-bound Alpha still in the surf, though he appeared next to her before too long. She glanced at him as he tried to get water out of his ears, the redhead tilting her head to the side slightly as he spoke. He called her flame head, something that set a soft scowl to her features, though it softened when he explained that she might have misinterpreted some of his actions. She was forced to think back to that moment before she literally punched him in the face – was it the fact that he kissed her and walked away that got her so angry, or was it that she thought he was going after those giggling dingbats that had walked past them before? Everything seemed more complicated than it needed to be, and either situation seemed a little less deserving of her reaction the more she thought about it. She found herself slightly embarrassed, the redhead dropping her gaze to her shirt, which she gave another ring, though in all honesty, it was about as dry as she was going to get it with her hands. He asked for a truce, something that caused the redhead to look up at him once more. He extended his hand, the redhead looking at it for a second before reaching out and taking it. She smiled slightly as their hands parted, tossing her curls over her shoulders as she slung her wet white shirt over her shoulder as well. “ Well, would you mind if I joined you on the way back? Wet jeans are not the most pleasant with sand in them,” she said with a slight laugh, following him as he headed back. Part of her hoped that things would be able to go back to the way they were before the kiss, but she knew they would have to talk about it eventually. Hell, she needed to figure out what her feelings towards him really were, though her strong reaction was a bit of an indication – she wasn’t even with him, and she was jealous of anything that looked his way. That didn’t seem like the Kerrigan she had gotten to know. ---------------------------------------------------------- Kerrigan stirred in her bed, having fallen asleep in her boyshorts and corset. She didn’t realize how tired she was until she got back into her room, parting ways with Jack after a slightly awkward conversation. It was probably only awkward for her, as she found herself constantly trying to figure out what she was going to do with him. She didn’t even realize how sore she was until she tried to get out of bed, unzipping the corset and wincing slightly as she let it fall to the floor. Glancing at herself in the mirror, she saw the mark where the boning had dug into her from a combination of Jack’s bear hug and the mistake of falling sleep in it. Now that her skin could breath better, they were at least fading. Despite her sore muscles, Kerrigan found herself in a surprisingly good mood. All residual anger from the previous night had morphed into euphoria, and the thought of a shower and some quality work-out time seemed perfection. Showering quickly, the redhead practically skipping out of the bathroom in her work out shorts and a sports bra, she started humming as she tied her tennis shoes to her feet. A run on the beach – the thought itself made her smile. Heading out of her room, she wasn’t surprised to see there was no one around. With as much drinking as had been going on at the bonfire, she wasn’t expecting to see many of their classmates until later on in the afternoon. That was just fine with her – there was really only one person she would want to see anyways. Well, two, if you counted Narcissa, but she always wanted to see Cissa. They were best friends. Almost bouncing in place as Kerrigan started to stretch out, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was music to her ears. Nothing could make this morning more perfect. Well…almost nothing. Taking one leg in her hand, she extended it straight over her head, grinning in satisfaction as she felt the muscle stretch out. When she was sore, nothing felt better than to stretch every square inch of her body. Couple that with a run, to get the adrenaline and endorphins pumping, and she was almost in heaven. What was it that had her so perky today?

Omega: Bubbles
Bubbles.
Bubbles were very funny that morning. Petra looked at her hand after she had been running soap through her hair to wash the sand and alcohol out of it. There were bubbles. She could hear them crackling. Putting her nose very close to it she started to laugh. They were curious little things. Bubbles.
What even happened the night before? She wasn't hung over but she couldn't remember much. Her hair did have a slight odor of vodka and whiskey. Shrugging, not caring, she got out of the shower with a large towel and walked to her room to get dressed. There were noises around the house, but not many. She had a feeling today was going to be a particularly interesting day.
Looking through her clothing, she wasn't sure what to wear.... but her terrycloth swimsuit cover up looked soft. And... well soft. She ran her hand across it not realizing how much she liked that feeling before. Only to be proper, she put her bikini back on and threw the tube dress on over it. It felt nice and soft.
And bubbles. She wanted to find more bubbles.
Walking down into the kitchen, she went straight for the sink. Turning on the faucet, she plugged the drain. She smirked as she poured dish soap in.
"Bubbles," She muttered watching them form. Hearing laughing from the living room she stopped to see if she could determine what was being laughed at. This distracted her from the sink until she felt the water start to drip on her toes. It gave her a jump and she accidentally molded the faucet handle to her hand. It didn't particularly bother her that she had just created a mess. She did her best to put the faucet back to it's original form. But she wasn't paying attention so it sort of looked like a butterfly when she was done. At least the water stopped.
Putting a towel on the floor, she wiped it up with her foot and danced over to the refrigerator to get something to eat. Bagels sounded particularly good after a night of vodka and more vodka on top of more vodka.

Alpha - Dude... my head. What the F*ck happened last night? Eli's eyes opened slowly, his head throbbed. He slowly stood up, his body was shaky and he grabbed at the pounding headache that rested on both his temples. Taking a deep breath he looked around and realized he was in the bathroom. Did he even make it to his bed last night?
Eli looked to the room. He didn't see anyone, at least he didn't think he saw anyone. But hell, the last thing he remembered last night was spitting out some rum and coke. That was when he took Wilbur's drink from his hand. No way the rum did this.
He shook the thoughts and looked around. He was in his bathroom. Finally becoming fully awake he had thoughts pouring into his brain. Fun thoughts. And his senses tingled. No, not spidey senses. Rushing to the sink he grabbed chemicals and then to the mini bar for glasses.
He was gonna do an experiment. Well, not an experiment. But he had the urge to do something... scientific. He plugged his iPod to the stereo and blasted the song 'Everywhere I Go' - by Hollywood Undead, on repeat. The people sleeping in the room next to him wouldn't enjoy it. But, it didn't matter. He was surrounded by metal.
After about half an hour of disassembling his bed frame he set up two rods and aimed them out the large bay window. He had taken some of the coils from the mini fridge, and set them up between the two bed rods.
After thirty more minutes of assembling there was a long metal track going from the door to his room out the bay window. The contraction was sleek, shiny, and smooth. For some reason entertained him. But his idea, no. Not his idea, his want. not even a want. His craving to do this. To beat Red Bull at their experiment, and do it with out parachuting from the stratosphere.
He backed his way out, his board in hand. His hand unconsciously brushing against the scratches on it, following them, tracing them. He put a metal ball in between the two molded rods and sent a magnetic surge through the mini-fridge coil that he had applied to the rods. The BB shot out, a crack, as if someone fired a gun.
It was ready. A home made rail gun. The ammunition? Himself. How badly would he be injured? Who cared. He had to do this.
Strapping himself to his board, laying down this time. He also added a contraption that would keep him from flying off the board.
He started to yell. " THREE!............ TWO!........... ONE!!!!! A whirring noise picked up, followed immediately by a loud explosion as Eli pierced the sound barrier and the section of the Condo that he was in shuddered; and Eli soared out the window well past the speed of sound.
His hair was blown back, he could feel his organs lurch inside him, and he soared over the beach. He noticed Kerrigan as he flew over her. "KERRIGANNN!!!!!! THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!" He yelled. He was in a complete euphoric state as his emotions were peaked, and adrenaline rushed through his body. What was with today? Ah ******** it, that thought was carelessly thrown aside as the Adrenaline picked up completely. He was on top of the world. Nothing, not one thing could bring him down.
Except gravity. Slamming into the water he unstrapped himself and just laughed. Sat in the water, as it was at his chest, and he just laughed. Not a care in the world that he went overkill on his science experiment.

The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants. Even That Which is Worst for It
Carlos shrugged and took a moment to conceal his dislike of the idea of leaving. But he couldn't just bring himself to say no to Evelyn. It was just part of her enchanting charisma that she didn't know was just so powerful. after a minute or two of lazily soaking in the warm water he sighed and pulled himself out then crossed his arms. " On a bet like that, I'm successfully convinced." he said as he offered a hand to help her up out of the water. He stepped back abit and sighed deeper. He could put up with the coldness, and his mind was in a place where his feelings seemed dimmed. " well I guess until you see how bad it is you won't understand why I choose not to do this, or even use my powers when I don't have to....". He was going to do as she asked, and though he didn't like it he did sorta promise it awhile ago. He didn't need to wait. If he did he'd be miserably cold. He was sure aside what nightmares torment her the sudden and coldness where they were going would shock her system.
He let his aura extend and form and the scenery seemed to dim as the dark power exuded ate at the unprotected and primitive life force of the plants. The fish simply swam away, fear and instinct to get away. " Don't close your eyes, and don't let go.It's warmer next to me and the images are worse..." He held out a hand and waited for her to take it before he yanked and drew her in, his other arm wrapping about her waist. He waited a few seconds as she seemed to tense, the cold already in effect. He took it slow trying to ignore the icy feeling on his own body, concentrated where her's and his body met. An odd comfort. The cloak swirled around them and collapsed into itself they were gone leaving a faint smoky blackness that dissipated quickly.
It was night already. Not much to see here in the abyss, no chance to glimpse maybe at the dark world from this side. Maybe there was no wind but for her she could feel an uneasy movement of her stomach, a sensation he was far too use to by now. By the time they reached their destination and reappeared in the real world he had let her go and watch her fall too all fours, panting, and probably covered in a cold sweat not that the wetness prior made it easy to know. Sound didn't really travel in there, not unless he spoke as far as he knew. So if she screamed he'd have no way of knowing it. He quickly though went up to the put out fire pit and used his new trick to launch a fireball at it to get it started,. He then helped Evie to proximity of the fire so she can get warmed up and collect her thoughts. He passed the time in silence until she broke it. She was about to start with her having a new understanding and all but he told her to save it for another time. He had a race to win.
---
A few minutes after warming up getting dry and getting ready they both mounted their cycles and lined up evenly. He reved his engine and waited in first gear as watched her. She would give the signal, and when she did, they both peeled off like bats out of hell. The zigzags and curves took more caution so as not to run one another off. She had gone off onto her own trail and it confused him. It wasn't till she flew over head from the ledge above that he knew the reason. Tricky, and just like her. It took some time before he could pass her, riding a wall They were neck and neck for the final stretch. He shifted and crouched as low as he could focusing on the win. He pulled ahead by a wheel and won. He dismounted his bike when came to a stop where he had parked earlier. Smile broad.
" Well I still don't know what I want, but I'll figure it out.". She affectionately punched him in the arm and lead inside. He followed abit quiet but somewhat pleased still. He walked into her room invited and stood by the door as she went to get things ready for herself. He however moved to the bed and was suddenly more tired then he realized. He shouldn't be too tired, not at night. He guessed all that exercise and work today might have done it. He watched Evie for a moment considering, then cleared his throat and looked at the floor trying not to get embarrassed. " V... we can get going tomorrow. I'm alittle tired, and considering it's night time I must be really really exhausted. We can stay here tonight and head back tomorrow. Not like the beach is going anywhere... I'll stay here. My room is abit off and *yawn* I don't see any harm in it. Lets consider it part of the prize."
He watched her a moment and waited for the response. Evie being Evie could do nothing but agree, she looked about as tired as him. He made to sleep on the floor but she stopped him. Of coarse her near complete uninhibited self suggested they share the bed. He wanted to protest but didn't. He got a blanket and let her crawl under the comforter before he got on top of it and covered himself. They spoke and said goodnight , but at least for him it was awhile before he dozed off.
--- next morning ---.
Carlos woke up to something unexpected but pleasant. Evie and him were close and face to face, and with sunlight coming off her hair and face it was really beautiful to see. He wanted to kiss her. Drew close to even do so, but only lightly touched her lips with his before the sensation made him realize what he was doing. The last thing he wanted to do was fight it, but he got shimmied out of bed and swung his legs over, Sitting. She'd wake up soon, he decided to stretch and get some of his morning routine out of the way. A few sit-ups, and push-ups and he'd be good to go. with his blood pumping he wanted to get something to eat, another strange thing but not out of the ordinary for him. When he got up Evie was just now waking up it seems. " Bueno morning. Hope you slept as well as I did. That you didn't have nightmares from your first experience teleporting with me."
He wanted to make sure of that. Some people open a black box of horrible when they teleport with him. He personally had to face every fear he had to get over it and even then he couldn't stay in that place extended times. He stretched again, then sat down on the bed trying not to stare at her but failing. Looking at her was warming. and though he knew nothing should happen between them, he wanted it, almost like a need. It sprung some guilt, and when he thought about it it was almost enraging what he wanted to do to Narcissa for some of the crap she's done to him. He found himself done with making excuses for her and being lenient. Evie broke him out of that vicious cycle by moving, and he cleared his throat. " I'm hungry. really hungry. what about you? still want that steak and JD? I could go for abit more." He was gonna see what her plan was. He really didn't want to leave her. To him, he was just being more honest about how he felt for her.

New Motivation, and WTF IS THAT IN THE AIR?!
Jack was trashed but managed to get a shower in and leave to go to the cafe and get his coffee. Even though the caffeine would have guaranteed he be up most of the night he was really tired and sleep assaulted him especially after he remembered to banish his clone who was drunk and just as tired. He dropped but was glad the bed didn't collapse. A hand to his forehead made him think about everything that went on and what he had just done about an hour ago. Fighting the red head Kerrigan wasn't as enjoyable as having kissed her but fun none the less. He'd pay for it tomorrow he was sure, but he didn't let it drag him down. He was somewhat happy that she had become civil afterward. He nodded and only smiled as she excepted the truce and shook his hand. Afterward they walked back and he took her all the way to her room saying goodnight before heading back down to his own room.
---------next morning-------
Jack got up with a groan as he stretched and rubbed his ribs. Pretty sore from his infatuation's assault.... wait... Infatuation? really? After looking blankly for a moment he shrugged and excepted what he was considering about her. He put on new close with the exception of a shirt, and stretched out his legs before heading to his frig and getting bottled water. Since even before his heart was fixed, he had gotten into the habit of jogging and running so that his condition wouldn't be so bad. He was going to continue that regiment, but more importantly he was pretty sure, it was the perfect excuse to see Kerrigan again. He wanted to see her again, needed to. At least to talk and see where they were going. He left the Condo, walking slowly and began a short run to the flashy red spot a distance away.He wasn't use to running so fast to catch up to someone, never really happened before but he was determined to do so, her form incentive alone.
When he managed to come up and slow down just behind her as he finally came to side he breathed deep, trying to catch air but not stop or break her pace. " Mornin Scarlet. How'd last night go for you? I tell ya, the number ya did to my ribs would have put a lesser man down for sure. Shoot, I shouldn't be rightfully movin. I might cut my run short and all...", as a statement, the last bit might have been laced with abit of suggestion. Injured either way the pain was already stabbing at him and considering he did about the same damage to her midsection it shouldn't be too out of the way for both of them to cut short. Maybe spend a little time together.
He was glancing every few seconds at her but avoided staring or making it obvious. It was really hard to do but it was made easy as a new kid flew over head, and into the ocean. as much as he wanted to stop he wouldn't unless she did. He needed to figure out what to do with her. And to that end he felt like dedicating the entire day to her, if she'd have him.

Beach and House – Stubborn Omega Alert889 Words “Cold huh?” Shandra mused Peta idly as they continued to wonder from spot to spot on the beach.
Cold wasn’t something she’d use to describe the views on mutants. Heated maybe…passionate – she’d met very few people, excluding her parents of course, that were “cold” on the subject. But she supposed that was his way to describe the mob mentality of it all. She could definitely see how it must have been even worse for him since he grew up in a place where mutants were gifted, not afflicted by genetic variations. His sense of them as being cold made more sense after she thought about that, letting the quiet n** at them. He came out from a warm loving home into the fridge world where everyone was so close together and so separated.
“Hmm?” Shandra questioned, snapping herself out of thoughts when she felt something in her hair.
Her eyes caught sight of his hand and put two and two together quickly, as though she hadn’t just been caught zoning out. Plus apparently she’d brought up a topic Peta had been thinking about for himself. Hair seemed to be a universal concern, she noted with a tint of humor.
“Well…at the academy a lot of the guys don’t have as short of hair…like…Gideon has it at I guess a medium length for guys… Antonio and Carlos have pretty long hair. Yours is just a bit longer I guess…or at least it seems longer?”
Really, it was…interesting to be talking about something so mundane. After all, she’d recently gotten back from hell…her “home” was destroyed, and here she was walking with Peta talking about hair of all things.
“But I guess…I mean, normally guys do have shorter hair than where you’re from. Its kinda like – well usually the ones with longer hair aren’t mainstream, white collar workers,” She gave a half smile, laughing internally about the image of what Peta would look like working behind a desk all day.
Probably about as amusing as what she herself would look like dressed up as a secretary.
“I think,” Shandra paused as she looked around, the party slowly leaking away, “that I’m going back to the condo…Narcissa is not here so she can’t hold it against me too much…”
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ The rest of the night had been a bit amusing. Apparently Peta had wanted to get the quickest room to get out of as well as she had hours previous. Hence why his bag had been found in the room she’d “claimed” as soon as they got there. Only, she supposed it was her fault…she kind of had a habit of tucking her things away. Still, most people seemed to have favored the second story rooms as they were slightly bigger as well as having a better view.
Of course, they found this out when the both of them wondered right into the same room…bumping hands on the doorknob. The whole situation had been rather frustrating and amusing to say the least. Peta wouldn’t give in and just accept the bed. And Since neither of them wanted to wake anyone up to go find another room (and Shandra wanted to stay on the bottom floor since she didn’t actually sleep) they both ended up having a stubborn-off over who got the bed…or rather, who didn’t so the other one could. In the end, she ended up just doing random stretches and exercises after listening to the story of Poia.
And she ended up wrapping a thick blanket around him, and tucking a pillow under his (Peta’s) stubborn head before she went back to all the exercises and stretching. Though she noted that it stared to feel better than it should, just the movements in general, the more the sun rose. It was…rather nice. It felt like her whole body was tingling, but in the better way than it did when her powers. She didn’t feel…well, she didn’t feel like she was going to snap someone in half, but instead felt like her whole body was just singing to her.
And the scents coming from the kitchen when someone went to cook ? – Heavenly.
Still… she kept her focus on the stretching and the mostly in place exercises she could put herself through in a near silent fashion using only a small part of the room. She’d taken a few breaks to grab something to drink here and there, but overall she hadn’t rested for more than an hour total – and that was broken up into break times. She was determined to stay in her room and prove to Peta that she doesn’t nor hasn’t slept in a while. She had a feeling that he hadn’t truly believed her. That and she was waiting for everyone to wake up so they could figure out who’d be finding a new room since she had a feeling that it wouldn’t be very conducive to anything if they kept trying to out stubborn each other on this issue.
How big was this place anyways – were there any rooms left? Did they have a mutant with them that could be shipped in or something that could make another room within the day? – The idea of shipping in a mutant in a big crate just to build a room made her giggle.
Oooh, was that bacon she smelt?

Alpha: What exactly WOULD Evie Do?
Evie smirked. She always smirked when she got her own way.
It was one of those looks trademarked to her that nobody else could get away with. Everybody who ever knew her had seen the Evie SmirkTM. As soon as they saw it, they knew they had been had in her eternal game of chicken. But there was something about her personality that usually made most people not care that she got away with it. It wasn't malicious. It was just her way of life.
"I've always just needed to know, Carlos," She explained to him before taking his hand, "It's 50% me wanting to be able to conquer everything thrown at me and 50% me needing to understand what everybody faces with their powers. It's how I operate."
Evie had no worries or fear standing by his side and taking his hand. There were very few things in life that Evie feared. But those fears that she did have gripped her like they did everybody else. The difference with Evie is that she knew her fears. Many did not. But really, could one ever fully prepare themselves to see the things they did not want to see?
His hesitance was noted and she squeezed it reassuring him he could do no wrong in the matter. This was what she asked for. She had no intention of letting go. This was something not to mess with. Even she was smarter than that.
Cold. Sharply cold. Quicker than she could adapt to. But she knew she'd be fine. Darkness. It wasn't real darkness. It was the darkness one caught in nightmares. She wondered if he could see what she saw. It was like a knife in her stomach, that feeling of dread when you knew you were going to see things you didn't want to see. Instinctively, she held onto Carlos tighter knowing she couldn't let go when these images hit her.
Evie only had two real fears in the world. And she wanted to scream when she felt their little crawly legs touch the bare of her skin. Spiders. She loathed them. They shot through her nerves, destroyed her sense of touch like no other. Made her crazy. It's not real. Not real. Hold on. She wanted to scream as they swarmed around her. Crawling. They had her paralyzed so she could only watch her second fear take place.
Larger spiders pulling cocoons away from them. She saw the lifeless hand of Bella hanging from one of them. A claw in another... Gideon. The curls from Siona (her cousin)'s hair. They were dragging away everybody she loved. And these things were biting at her, paralyzing her, and devouring her. She couldn't save them.
Evie did her best to hold onto Carlos. But that was her instinct reacting. Her mind was lost in this vision. It's not real. This isn't real. But the damning part of it all was she suddenly realized she had a third fear when a voice she had long buried in her subconscious came to light. It was Carlos' voice but a different version of him, a darker version of him. He was calling to her to make a deal. Make a deal to save everybody she loved in her own way. Sell your soul to the devil and save them.
Evie wanted to scream no, but she heard herself say yes. When those words came from her mouth, Carlos had pulled them both into their destination spot and she collapsed. She could deal with her first two fears. They were natural. Her third... the fear of becoming that evil being Derrik had envisioned in the future ate away at her subconscious in ways she never realized until that moment.
She stared at the fire trying to push it all back. His power was damning. The power of fear was the strongest power of them all. Evelyn Reed was not a person to let her fears take a hold of her. She was the person who spat at fears and went to jump off a bridge hoping for the best. And I will spit in the face of this. I know the few demons I have and I will rise above them. But as she knew it would take some time to push it all away, something clicked inside and looked at him from the fire, "I understand now."
No time for that. There was a race to be had. She laughed to herself as the subject had shifted and knew that an adrenaline fueled race was exactly what would put her back in her place. But, of course, Evie wasn't void of games. She led a good chase. The speed helped her blood burn wild. The wind in her face. The danger fueled her.
But the outcome was just as she wanted. She wanted to see what prize was his. That night, she already got the thing she had desired years back: to understand his power. There was no prize she could pick in winning that she couldn't get by other means at this point. So she felt no shame in his victory since she had pulled back enough to let it happen.
"Oh I have no doubt in that, my dear," She laughed after punching him and they went inside. The house was quiet which was fine with her. Less questions, less running into Narcissa. She tiptoed up to her room to grab a few things she wanted to bring with her back to the beach before catching him yawning. Evie wasn't going to tell him what to do either way. As always, she was along for the ride and would adjust as things came at her. Evie wasn't one to have a master plan unless she was on a mission. Even though, she was prone to improvisation.
When he started to go for the floor, she laughed and pointed at the bed. Shaking her head with a hand on her hip, she sassed him, "Carlos, we're adults. We can share a bed without scandal." She laughed then, losing the seriousness on her face. Evie climbed into bed and found herself snuggling against him for more warmth.
Her dreams were rough but suddenly they found a calm somewhere in the middle of the night.
--------
She woke up from sleep when his lips touched hers. Her sense of touch was strong enough for her to know of the intrusion. She didn't care, though. For some reason, she just didn't care about anything that had happened. The nightmares from the other day seemed distant, didn't matter. The power of stealth also was the power of letting people think she was asleep.
He mentioned nightmares and it didn't phase her. Didn't matter. The sun was bright and the morning was amazing. Her brain felt like it was on cloud nine. It didn't dawn on her that she usually had some sort of dread getting up in the morning. But why dread? Carlos was here. She adored him. Did she adore him or the company? Maybe. She was confused. But it didn't seem to mater at the moment.
"Nightmares, yes. But it's okay. Life is okay. I feel great," She said as she rolled over and put one of her arms under her head to prop herself up. Smirking, she noticed he was staring at her. And that was fine with her as well. It seemed to make the cold from the prior evening feel distant.
"It's not everyday you realize that your worst fear is becoming an evil murdering machine from a potential alternate reality that may never happen in the existence of the universe," Her speech pattern was a bit quicker and flighty than usual. She didn't notice, "But in the grand scheme of things. It doesn't matter. What matters is that we're awake, alive, young and beautiful."
She sat up a bit rushed. For a moment, she felt lightheaded. Her body knew something wasn't sitting right, but the mental connection Evie usually had between her power and her conscious mind wasn't there. So she simply didn't care. Without thinking too much about it, she wrapped her arms around his neck. Evie was one to normally act out of impulse but right now, there was little to no thought about anything. She pressed her lips against his cheek and whispered, "Only if it's breakfast in bed, my dear. Make it quick before the hounds are unleashed on you around here. I'm going to get a shower. For some reason I smell like I've been swimming around an ocean for hours.... And something strangely floral I can't put my finger on."
With more sass than usual, she walked her way to the showers making sure she had his eyes the entire time.

Alpha - Catalina - Time Warp Raine smiled at Sophia as she came out to dance with Antonio. She was glad to see that she seemed to be feeling better, at least enough to try and enjoy the rest of the evening. In her head, she was thinking of how she could distract Antonio enough to let Christian slip in and dance with their friend, but before she really had a chance to come up with anything, Christian was making his way away from the bonfire, leaving Raine to stand there and wish there was more she could do to keep things smooth between all three of them at the same time. Still, she didn't let that stop her from having a good time for long, eventually coming across her islander from the music store and apologizing for leaving him to dance with other girls for so long. He was nice, asked her to dance and even got her another non-alcoholic drink before the end of the night. They took a little stroll down the beach towards the condo when she realized how tired she was getting, though he broke away to go to his own home about half way there. Before her head even hit the pillow, Raine was pretty much asleep, though she had been awake enough to take her makeup off and change into her silk pajama shorts and matching button up shirt. She had beat Sophia back to the room, but was unfortunately asleep by the time the girl got home. If they did manage to have a conversation, she didn't remember it. ---------------------------------------------------------- Even before she was awake, a small smile fashioned itself on the corner of her lips, Raine stretching from under the sheets with a satisfied grunt. There was something about this morning - something amazing was going to happen today. Her eyes finally opened to see the sun streaming through the open window, a sea breeze blowing the curtains around. To her left, in the other bed, she saw Sophia sleeping peacefully, her head tilting gently to the side as she just looked at her for a moment. Sophia was one of those exceptionally beautiful people. Not only in looks, but in personality. Everyone liked her - it was no wonder she always had a group of men around to protect her. Raine only wished there was more she could do to keep the girl safe - she couldn't let anything happen to her best friend. Slipping out from under the covers, she made her way towards the bathroom, turning only once to glance at Sophia once more before disappearing through the door. A warm shower was the perfect way to start the morning, Raine emerging refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead. Slipping into a pair of jeans and a pink halter top, she pulled half of her hair back after drying it, then natural curls cascading down her shoulders. There was a little more bounce in her step as she made her way out of the bathroom and over to her friend’s bed, sitting down on the edge as she gently reached out and tucked a piece of misplaced hair out of Sophia’s face. She really was pretty when she slept. “ Wakie wakie beautiful. I’m going to get some breakfast, you want anything?”

Omega: Gas LeakJacen sighed, standing up and stretching out. He brushed sand off of himself, looking down at Leion. “I’m going to turn in for the night.” He said to the other people gathered. He figured he shouldn’t leave Leion out here, since he didn’t know whether Maddy would enjoy him passing the babysitting hot-potato to her. ”Anyone wanna help me get him to the condo?” ///The Morning After…Why didn’t he own one of these things? It was so soft, warm, inviting… Hell, why didn’t everyone have one? They were advertised enough, You’d think the world would be wearing them. Jacen walked along the hallway, before entering into the living room. The Snuggie© The Blanket with sleeves he had found hidden in the back of the closet in his room covering all but his feet. The Fleece was so inviting, and it had arms! That is happiness, pure and simple. The Snuggie© wearing mutant walked thru the Living room, turning to look at the cartoon Christian was preoccupied with. He watched from behind the couch, leaning on the back of the seat. He didn’t fully remember moving into the seat next to the Omega, but when he next took his eyes off the cartoon he was. “Haha, How have I not seen this before either?” He asked, looking around the room at the sound of water spilling. He caught sight of the sofa against the wall where Leion had been deposited last night, and his demeanor changed drastically, he was filled with anger, anger for the embarrassment he had felt last night. He had a hand on the arm of the couch to get up and start… something, but then Jerry stuck a firecracker under Tom’s tail and the resulting boom brought him back to the cartoon.

Omega: Catalina - Intoxicating Walk Rolling her neck from side to side, the redhead had just started out on her jog when she heard someone fall into step next to her. Quickly, she glanced to see who it was, unable to hold back a smile. She was sure she hadn't been this happy to see him the night before, but none of that mattered now -- she had him here, and that made her happy. Like, really happy. Like, so happy that her smile just wouldn't go away even though it made running a little more difficult. Maybe it was because he called her Scarlet. She liked when he called her pet names. It meant that he had spent time thinking about them -- about her. " Last night was good. I slept really good. Woke up feeling refreshed, though I have to say that my ribs are a little sore you. Has anyone ever told you that you give really tight hugs? I bet they'd feel good under the right circumstances though," she said, her speech actually rather steady despite running. It took her a moment to catch on to the suggestion in his voice about ending the run early, the thought of spending alone time with him causing her cheeks to flush ever so slightly. Turning her attention forward once more, as she found herself staring, the redhead cleared her throat with a shake of her head. It was difficult to get some of those images out of her head. Her imagination was just running wild with…possibilities. Flexible possibilities. Possibilities that were interrupted by her name being screamed from across the sky. Kerrigan turned her attention to the sky as she saw Eli go flying by, landing in the ocean. The smile on her face disappeared as she saw him treading water, anger creeping into her features. She did slow her pace, eventually coming to a halt as she continued to look at him in the water, wishing there was a way she could get out of there fast enough to re-reprimand him for that prank he pulled yesterday. She had been too lenient with him before, and he needed to know how not funny it had been. Something about seeing him made her want to punch something, but not the same way that seeing Jack made her sometimes want to punch something. Seeing him now didn't make her feel that way. Those possibilities were starting to come back again. " Well, if you're going to cut it short, what did you have in mind? Anything…specific?" Her green eyes turned to him, lingering on his form with a sort of mischievous glint in them. Turning them forwards, she took to walking, wanting to prolong the time they had between where they were and heading back to the condo. Her walk strayed a little closer to him, though whether it was intentional or by accident was anyone's guess. Just being close to him was intoxicating…was it like this when he had a shirt on? Could she remember him with a shirt on?
