"... That just might work.... we'd be fugitives...but not dead." Aster said, walking over to Valencia and helping her up, " Yea... I'm okay...just not okay." She whimpered using one hand to pull herself up (with Aster's help) and the other hold her side.

Neomi winced. "I'm so sorry Valencia, I wish I could feel your pain instead of you.." She whispered in regret. Neomi sighed. "I think I'm going to go to bed, but in the morning, when the guards are just starting to rise, then I'll look for the keys. I'll also sneak you guys some breakfast." She grinned a sad smile at them, just wanting to cry again when she saw what shape they were both in. "I'm not going to let you die." She almost growled in determination.

"I'm the one who crashed into the rocks... don't worry about me. Just do what you can" Valencia murmured before sitting back down against the grimy cold wall. " We'll be here." Aster added before sitting down beside his sister, drapping an arm across her shuddering shoulders.

Neomi closed her eyes, dying for a kiss from Aster and a hug from Valencia. She nodded her head and ran up the stairs. She gritted her teeth when she heard her father call for dinner. Exhausted, she told him she was too tired and for once he let her go to bed. She wanted to slap him for her friends being in this situation. Hours later, she had fallen asleep, having a dream of Valencia and Aster telling her before they died, "We'll never forgive you." She woke up with tears down her face and her shaking badly. She got dressed in nice blue jeans and a short v-neck t-shirt. She tiptoed down the hall, knowing the sun hadn't even come up yet. Neomi went quietly into the kitchen, and grabbed a few apples and bananas, toast, and two granola bars. She put them in a small black bag and almost ran silently down the hall, and into the dungeon. She opened the door, looked around, and slipped in. She went to their cell and was glad that the bars were big enough to slip food through, but sadly they were too small for an actual person.

Aster looked up as Neomi ran into the dungeon, having not slept the night before. "Hey." He whispered, Valencia softly breathing as she leaned up against him but looked up after a moment. " Hey." She also said, getting up slowly as a cold chill rocketed through her.

Neomi put the bag through the bars and winced when they scraped her arms. "Here. When your done, I'll come down and take the bag and just tell me when you guys are hungry. I'm sorry if you don't like it." She said, still exhausted. She saw the purple bags under Aster's eyes and nodded. "I didn't get much sleep either last night. Bad dream."

"Same here....except I just had too much on my mind." He said before taking a bite of banana."If this is what happends when your dad get mad...I can't even imagine what will happen when he finds out about Asriel." Valencia commented, taking a granola bar.
(Asriel is at Zaria's house with her.)

Neomi nodded and slid down, her hands curled around the bars. "I know. I just don't know how to talk to him. He's the king, so he won't be listening half the time that I'm talking to him. And my mother." She closed her eyes and hung her head. "She can't do anything." In fact. my mother can't do anything because she's dead! She thought to herself.

Neomi giggled sadly. "Oh yes. He sure can. He always does. You guys done?" She gestured to the bag, thinking about her baby.

Neomi shrugged. "I don't care if I get caught. Then maybe I could be stuck with you guys." She looked into Aster's eyes once again with regret. "You should of gotten a differrent girl." She said to him sadly. Then to Valencia she stated, "You should of gotten a different friend."

"Life wouldn't have been as exciting if we had." Aster smiled, looking at her with kind eyes, "And anyway, your dad would never imprison you." Valencia cut in.
Zaria awoke on the couch, still holding Asriel who was sleeping soundly. I should go down to the palace to see if I can help Aster and Valencia She thought to herself as she got up and headed out.

Neomi snapped. "No, Valencia. I just want to have hope, you know?" She had tears in her eyes, and ignoring Aster, she fled up the stairs and slammed the door.

"Neomi!" Valencia called out apologectically as Neomi stormed out. "V... "Aster droned, sitting back against the wall. Valencia hung her head and sighed, sitting against the opposite wall.
(hour time skip)
Zaria arrived at the castle gates an hour later, " Hello? I'm here to see Neomi!" She called out the guard tower guards. Asriel looked up from the carrier on Zaria's back.
