FlashFlash sighed, glancing at the Weavile over his drink and nodding. "Yeah, guilty as charged. I'm still not sure whether or not I like it, though..." he trailed off and took another sip of his drink, thinking to himself for a minute before shrugging and turning his attention back to the bartender. "But whatever, it's not all that important to me anyway."

Eddie---&--- LisaEddie giggled a little, setting the glass he was cleaning down. "Don't worry, sunshine, I won't tell~" He whispered softly.
Lisa let out a little sigh and leaned to her side. She rest her furry chin on Pamela's shoulder, closing her eyes. Although she still felt a little guilty, it was very nice to settle down again.

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark sat at the bar, exhaling as he swallowed his sip of whiskey- he was going easy tonight, considering his last venture to this establishment had ended in him being carted off unceremoniously back to the castle. An experience he did not want to relive, obviously. He glanced sidelong down the bar at his drinking companions. Argonne tapped his flute against his thigh rythmically, eyeing the speakers strewn about with distaste, eyes flitting from the flute back to the speakers again as he sipped his martini calmly. Will was less subtle about his feelings, head bobbing in time to the music, his eyes darting about to the faces of any female patrons he found attractive. Which happened to be all of them. Which resulted in his head slowly revolving around and around as he scanned the area for any more potential dates. His drink went untouched. Argonne sighed. "I suppose I shouldn't complain, given that you're treating us and the drinks are... delicious," he said, pondering his martini, "but the music in here is far too loud. I can't hear my flute at all." Stark smiled slightly, then shook his head. "Most people don't bring their own music to a nightclub. Come on, just take a breath- you're the one who always says for me to calm down, anyway." He gestured the club around him. "This is how I unwind. A couple drinks, a nice chat or two, good music. That's all I need. You're not the only musician in the world, anyway," He said, sipping at his whiskey again. Argonne looked down at his flute, then set it on the bar with a sigh. "Force of habit, I admit. Can't help it," he said, taking another sip of his own drink. "Nice place you brought us to," said Will, craning his neck to glance at a giggling Mightyena across the dance floor. He turned back around, grinning knowingly at Stark. "Nice views," he said with a wink. Stark rolled his eyes, but otherwise said nothing. He'd brought them here to enjoy themselves- Arceus knew they needed it with how things were falling apart...

 Gabriel
The Weavile walked into the bar almost like he owned the place, not that he really did. His step was in time with the music and he slipped through the crowd with ease. He had had the foresight to leave his swords behind, so his body was light and uninhibited. And, of course, naturally dextrous. Weavile were extremely fast after all. Gabriel glanced at the bar before choosing his seat and taking uneven, rhythmic strides towards it. With a simple hop, he half landed half slid onto the seat right beside Stark and his team. There were plenty of other seats across the bar and many of them were empty. Some were even empty for a fair distance, so he could have easily chosen to take a different place and sit apart from everyone else if he had wanted to. But, no, he had chosen to sit here. Whether or not there was any meaning behind the act wasn't apparent, however, as Gabriel didn't even pause to look at the trio before waving to the Bartender. "Something light!" A large grin was across his face as the bartender gave a nod. If the familiarity was any indication, he had probably been here before.

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark jumped slightly as a Weavile lithely leapt into the seat directly next to him, calling with a large grin for something light. The bartender gave a familiar look, then went to get something for the Weavile. From his motions, this similar order had been made before- or at least some like it. There was certainly some familiarity between the two. The Weavile was there regularly it seemed. Stark turned to the other two, who shrugged and continued with their actions- apart from Argonne, who had finished his drink and was now trying to signal the bartender for a refill- despite him trying to fill the other man's order. Stark rolled his eyes, then turned to their unexpected neighbor. "You must come here a lot, the way he knows your order like that," he said, turning and taking a sip of his whiskey. He chuckled lightly. "But 'something light?'" He chuckled again, then sipped another bit of his drink. "To each their own, I guess. They've still got great stuff here, anyway."He turned to the Weavile, then shrugged inwardly. "But I've been rude, excuse me. My name's Stark. Stark Dravin. And you are?"

 Gabriel
The Weavile smiled and laughed a little bit. "You've never seen a drunken Weavile, I take it. Let's just say that being fast and drunk at the same time doesn't end well." It was true for a lot of pokemon, but Weavile especially. They were a dexterous kind by nature and being suitably inebriated took that away. It made walking unusually hard. Of course, if he had enough experience drinking it wouldn't be an issue, but just once was enough to keep him off the hard stuff. Never again. The bartender arrived shortly after with the drink; evidently, "light" also meant simple as the drink was unadorned. Gabriel pulled the drink in lightly and offered a loud "thanks" as he turned to face the Absol. "Gabriel. No last name, just Gabriel." He looked slightly past Stark, to his two teammates. "Friends of yours?"

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark nodded at the Weavile's reasoning- it was sound, to be sure. It was likely the reason why Rem never drank... Stark shrugged this thought off, then took another sip of his whiskey. Nice, simple whiskey- that was his vice. Stark looked over as the Weavile got his drink- another simple one- and watched the bartender go to fill Argonne's drink. "Sound argument, friend," he said, nodding at the Weavile. He nodded again as he introduced himself. "Pleased to meet you, Gabriel No Last Name." He went to take another drink, when Gabriel inquired about his teammates. He looked over to where Argonne was busily trying to strike up a conversation with the still-silent bartender about different pieces of classical music, and to Will, who was no salivating over the Lopunny that had just walked in. He rolled his eyes. "You could say that," he said sheepishly. "Teammates, actually. Just two of 'em. The rest are back at our team room. Most of 'em are too young for this kind of thing." He took another sip before smiling ruefully. "Or too chicken," he said with a bit of a devilish grin on his lips. But that may have just been the whiskey talking.

 Gabriel
Gabriel grinned. It was a smart a** comment to say the least, but the atmosphere was good enough that he would let is pass. He didn't need to wreck what was going perfectly fine--besides that, they looked capable. He hadn't intended to come here for this, but being opportunistic was hardly a bad thing. Well, maybe he'd ask later. There was no need to ask right away. The Weavile took a short but heavy drink from his glass before settling it back down. "So, you're a rescue team, huh? I used to be a member myself... how's things been lately in the guild?" He'd broach the subject of work when and as it seemed right. It would be a good chance, though. Getting to know the people you worked with beforehand was a good way to get a good split. It also generally made the work safer since he could have a solid set of expectations as to what the group was actually capable of.

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark nodded in confirmation to Gabriel's query. "Yep. Rescue team. Pretty good one, I'd like to think- but maybe I'm just saying that 'cause..." He snuck a look at Argonne, who was taking a sip of his refilled drink, eyeing him with a devilish gleam in his eye. Stark restrained the urge to groan and went on. "...'cause I'm Captain. Our Vice-Captain's back at the room- he's been kinda sick lately." He glanced over at Argonne, who now had a satisfied look on his face. Stark almost sighed in frustration at that look- just another mark of Argonne's successes in molding him into a "proper Captain." He perked up slightly at the second part of Gabriel's question. "Been kinda busy lately- there's a lot going on in the Guilds, given that everything's kinda... blowing up, and all." He took another sip of whiskey, impressed with himself for still being on his first glass- but then, you didn't exactly gulp whiskey, did you...? He sighed in relief, then continued. "I've been thinking of taking a few more missions, lately- something to get us out and about, make some more money. It's what we do as rescue teams, eh?" He turned to the Weavile, something he had said registering suddenly. "You said you were a member of a team once, yeah? Which one?"

 Gabriel
"You wouldn't have heard of the team. We didn't really get involved in the affairs of the guild." Gabriel had half a mind to call it a "small team", though in reality it had swelled to a dozen members before they had disbanded. "We mostly just did missions. None of us were really tied to the Guild or anything. It was just a good place to stay and a fun place to live." Or, more accurately, "it wasn't our job to defend it from eldritch horrors". The team had heard about the things that happened when the alarm was rung and the group decision was to stay out of it. A lot of them enjoyed combat and they all enjoyed missions, but none of them were willing to get involved with some of the stuff the guild was. Do missions, get paid, spend the money on essentials and fun. That was their life. "Though, now that you mention it I do some work on my own... I've actually been looking for some hired help if you're interested." The grin across his face suggested nothing less than perfect confidence in the idea. A Luxio, Lucario and Absol weren't exactly pushovers. They'd be good help if he could get them on board for a reasonable price.

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark raised an eyebrow at Gabriel's description of his old team, but not out of disrespect- it was just interesting how opposite they seemed from his own team. They had hardly done any missions, and yet they were almost alwys at the forefront when the alarm sounded. Go figure, he thought, taking another sip of whiskey. "To each their own, I guess. Most of what my team does is Guild-related. Not exactly what you might call, 'fun," but it pays the bills and gives us a place to live." He perked up slightly at Gabriel's continued explanations- most notably the offer of work. Stark looked down to his other teammates at this comment. Argonne looked over and shrugged. "Your decision, Captain," he said, taking another sip of martini. Stark looked past him to Will, which he needn't have bothered- he hadn't heard the question, anyway, so focused was he on the other patrons. Stark sighed, then turned back to Gabriel. "A job, eh? Might be interested. What kind of work are you lookin' at? We have some other teammates that might be of some help as well."

 Gabriel
"It's nothing complicated, but the pay should be good. The long and short of it is that a mother came to me. She told me her son was taken in by a cult and that she went to the guilds but they refused to help her. I looked into it and they've got it up as a fairly major mission. They won't help her because they refuse to send in a single team to deal with the problem... it's supposed to be too dangerous. They'd got a notice up, though. If any sufficiently large groups go and deal with the problem there's a substantial reward." The Weavile paused to take a heavy drink before putting it back down and continuing. Whatever he was drinking, it would take a lot for him to get drunk from the looks of it. "That's the jist of it anyways. So, here's my proposal. I'm fairly strong, but it's not safe for me to go in there on my own. You all seem experienced. You take the job from the guild and we go in together. You help me rescue the kid, I'll help you complete the job and we split the reward in the aftermath. If we can't come to an agreement then I take the payment for my end and you take the payment for yours. Sound good?" It was nice and easy. Gabriel got his job done in total safety and it gave him the potential to earn quite a bit extra. The worst case scenario was that they had to back out after completing his half, but that still left plenty for him.

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark listened to Gabriel's description of the job. It sounded easy enough, especially given the larger size of his team. That, and the sound of "substantial rewards" was too good to pass up. It was a good deal, depending on how difficult the job turned out to be. Stark snuck a sidelong glance at his team, and thought of the rest of the team back at their room. There were sure to be a few people there who would be willing to help Gabriel out. Stark pondered it for a moment more, then nodded to himself, taking another sip of his drink. "Sounds intruiging. We could use some extra hands doing something like that, but... my team and I should have enough reserves at our disposal." He looked back at Argonne, who gave a subtle nod, turned to his drink, finishing the last dregs of it. He sighed, then turned back to Gabriel. "Well then, Mr. Gabriel," he said, putting out his paw to shake, "you have a deal. We each help with the other's part of the job, and we split the profits fifty-fifty at the end. Sound good to you?"

 Gabriel
Gabriel waited patiently. Whether they accepted or rejected the proposal they'd do it soon. He smiled as he caught the slight nod from the Absol and took the opportunity to drain the last of his glass. He'd have been grinning like an idiot at Stark's suggestion if it wasn't for the fact that the act would have betrayed his personality. Fifty-fifty was considerably more than he had expected. Considering that most of the work was coming from their end and most of the reward was focused on them, he had expected a fairly slated split... 70/30 or something. Not that he was complaining about money, of course. He'd have to be an idiot to complain about easy money. Gabriel's claws slipped back into his fingers as he held his hand out to grab Stark's in a light shake. "Sounds perfect." Though, that being said, there was no need to get to it immediately. Especially not while they had a bit of liquor on them. "The night's still young. Let's enjoy ourselves first."

.::Stark & Will & Argonne::.Stark shook the hand happily, though he caught a bit a devilish gleam in Gabriel's eye as he did so. Stark let it be- he knew 50/50 was a bit extravagant on Gabriel's part of the payment, but he didn't care. The Team made enough as it was just saving the Guild's a** from catastrophe. 50/50 was fair enough in Stark's mind- as fair as they needed. He nodded at Gabriel's agreement. Then perked up at his suggestion of enjoyment. He grinned. "Amen to that," he said happily, waving down the bartender for his attention. "Another round, please," he said to the man, drawing a thankful nod from Argonne, who was finishing his second drink as he did so. Stark thought ahead, thinking of who would be best for the mission at hand, and where he could find more information on this so-called cult. This was gonna be a fun mission to perform- and having Gabriel along would be... enjoyable, from the looks of things. He nodded at the bartender as he refilled his glass, and took a sip. Here's to a successful business venture.
