Jamie sighed, and slowly released his control on the lights. They gradually faded back to life. "We'd better hurry. I'm sure they know we're out by now." He said, starting to follow Wanda out the hole.

Jacen woke not but a few minutes later from his brief respite by a loud crash, followed by a bunch of yelling and commotion. Apparently there was a jailbreak going down right now, and the group escaping had made it to the apex of all four wings of the facility.

Yell or not, he thought as he stretched a bit before standing up. His legs were a tad weak from his electro-shock therapy and he nearly got sick again. Suddenly, there was a rush at his door and the scientist who had just left reappeared, looking rather disheveled.

"What's the matter, doc?," Jacen said with a sneer as the doctor was gasping for breath.

"They've escaped....Couldn't get away before they broke through," he stammered, "Lost contact with the lab.....something's loose." The doctor looked geniunely scared. "You've gotta help me! Please!!"

"Just like that, you want my help?," Jacen asked before stopping to think. "Get this collar off of me, and I'll help you....."

Without a second thought, the scientist produced a small remote device from his pocket and hit a button. Jacen expected a shock but instead felt less pressure around his throat and heard a metal clank. While stretching his neck, Jacen asked the doctor, "So....where do you keep the information on us?"

The doctor divulged the information effortlessly. "Third basement level, main computer room."

"Thank you," Jacen said, grabbing the scientist's face and letting a huge mass of energy burn in his hand. When he let go, the scientist had a perfect hand print branded on his face. "Never said how I'd help," Jacen muttered as he snatched up the doctor's keycard. He was going to be needing that for his journey. After rolling the dead doctor for any other things he may need to get to the third basement, Jacen decided to get a move on. And knowing that the others were just to his right, he decided to not run into them and head downstairs to the computer banks.

Fifteen minutes went by and Jacen had already made his way to the third basement level. It wasn't hard making his way around through the backways. A majority of the guards were sent to either take care of the escapees in the prison wings or the escapee in the lab area. Also it didn't take long for Jacen to find the facility's computer. It was the only thing that populated this floor. And so he had to dispatch of all the technicians in the area, they wouldn't have let him hack into their systems and let him toy around.

"Let's see here," Jacen muttered to himself as he picked a corpse up off of the nearest keyboard station and started to tap away at the keys. Jack of all trades, master of none he was. From various mutants he met, he had learned a variety of different skills, although it took him some time to perform certain tasks.

What would have taken his mentor a mere thirty seconds took Jacen ten minutes. But he still found it. "Here we are. Detailed dossiers on all mutants detained in the last twenty-four hours." Jacen stopped tapping on keys and started to read intently. File after file he skimmed through. It seemed that the higher-ups knew alot more than they should. After rummaging through about seven different files on various X-Men, Jacen finally stumbled upon what he wanted to see.

"Here it is," Jacen muttered to himself, "The moment of....wait, what's this footnote?" After clicking on the footnote to his own dossier, Jacen's eyes grew big and he could feel his jaw go slack. He read it again and again. Then, he read through his file. They had everything down to the letter except for one thing; next to his parent's names' it said adoptive parents. Again, he read through it, then the footnote again. There was nothing he could say, he just sat there at the terminal in stunned silence, awe, and disbelief.

OOC: Did things this way so I've a lil time when I get home and s**t. That and if the ones that were running around the facility wanted to run into my character, there'd be some time for searching, blah blah....just trying to keep consistency.

"Getting out of here is fine with me," Penny said. She looked around, "Let me get a quick head count of the X-Men."

She needed to make sure at least their own were getting out of this place. Morgan was with Freya. Jamie was following and moved behind Anna and Penny. There was a newer girl who arrived in the van with Anna following Jamie... she seemed off. Maybe it was her vision. Then there was a guy who game in the Van too. Matt was following behind as well.

"X-Men, follow behind Anna, she's taking a shortcut out. I'll take be right behind her with my trustly pipe. Jamie take the rear and blind any enemies who come up on us. Matt, you stand up front with me. New girl, what's your name?"

"Alanna," She said sheepishly.

"What do you do? Do you have good control of it?"

"Elements and not always," She said simply.

"Okay, you stay behind Anna and stay out of harms way if you can. I don't want you getting hurt. You'll be our backup if needed. Other new person," Penny looked at Victor.

"I'm your teacher." He said simply. [OOC: Rhythm, I'm going to assume you're with us since Anna busted all the collars.]

"Oh," Penny said in short feeling a bit silly for not knowing their new teacher, "Nice to meet you. I guess youc an pick your post too, then. We can have a formal chat later."

Penny peered ahead and readied herself for any unforutnate encounters the enemies may have with them. She didn't really care about the Brotherhood... well she did, but not enough to endanger her own team.

OOC: Okay, X-Men are going in Anna's direction. Morgan are you going with us too or going your own way? And are we going to run into Jacen? smile Just want to try to clear it up to make things less confusing.

Penny peered forward through the room. She didn't need the light that Jamie turned up a notch to see who was down at the end in the chair. Her eyes were sharp enough to make out most of the features.

"Our missing Brotherhood member... We meet again," Penny mumbled and then moved up and spoke, "Friend or Foe this time?"

She figured she didn't have to be discrete about their prescence since anybody who cared would have heard them smashing through walls. And she wasn't going wasn't goign to take any chances in this house of smoke and mirrors. Scion could be ready to turn around and shoot them each with a tranq dart. Who knew who brought them there or why. It could have been anybody including Xavier himself at this point.

OOC: Jason, how did things go with your mom?

A door clicked somewhere behind them, or was it beside them. It had echoed enough for her to hear it. Penny put the pipe up in a defensive stance, "We've got company."

"We don't want any more trouble," Penny shouted out and then nodded to Jamie to light up the room, "Scion, look away from the monitor."

Jamie used the light from the computers to let them see what stood before them. [OOC: Jamie, did I do that right?]

{Standing before you is Demon. In his human form. You don not want to be on the recieving end of his "demon" form.}

He sniffed the air. "You... are the ones who escaped, no?" he says, looking at them quizzically, sizing them up.

"And what if we are? What's it to you?" Morgan said, staring right back at him.

"I wish to escape as well. They have been using me for far too long," he says.

"Then why are you wearing one of their uniforms?" Morgan asks, eying the outfit.

"It would be rather hard to remain inconspicuous when in the nude, would it not?"

"You have a point there."

[OOC: Okay...]
BIC:

Victor looked around them, recongising the mainframe module of a very large and complex computer network system. "Electronical interface, let me handle it. I'll see if I can filter through the firewalls... If there's any." Victor closed his eyes for a brief second before opening them. Upon his sight, his mind was connected to the computer module as he tried to dig deeper. Finding mazes of electronical wires and rough patches of walls, Victor narrowed his eyes as his mind clicked with the databanks but he hit several walls of security protection. "Ugh. Tough bugger. Slide aside." He whispered out loud although no one seems to know what he was doing. Thinking alot with the flicking and bending of his own will, he forced a combination code that began to gain access pass the internal firewalls. "Nearly there."

Then he struck gold. or so he though. He found that the secure files were erase and would take quiet awhile before Victor could reform the data back into it's original form and they don't have time. He turned to Anna as he looked at the large module. "Okay, what do we want to know. Escape routes? Location? This thing's patched to the net and I might be able to link up to a satelite if I'm lucky." Although Victor doesn't think that he would be able to do such a large feat, it couldn't hurt to... try. "The net part, maybe later." Victor digs through the jumble of information as he searched for where this place was, what this place was and maybe a floor plan or something to help them get away. Although he encountered encryption, Victor began to decode them as he concentrated.

Beads of sweat began to trickle down his face and his hands were clenched so tight that his knuckles were becoming white. "Questions, I'll try to find the answers to them." He said to Anna again as several folders of data was de-encrypted but as soon as he was done in that section, several encryption defence shields formed up to hold out Victor while the data he just encrypted tried to encrypt itself again. "I won't be long." Victor began to write his own algorithm to disable the encryption defences, making them think that Victor is a friendly program accessing information by decrypting them. Won't take awhile. Nearly there...

OOC: From what I have read, Wanda always been around with the x-men. I don't remember her going somewhere else. All she did was a hole in the wall and everyone said "follow Anna".
