 *Infernos blind rage made it hard for him to fight back, and he came to a halt on one knee not too far passed the cloaked figure. He grasped at his head and shook about, trying hard to fight it off*GET OUT!! ~IMK

 Kill the resistance, the Guardian demanded, in the same booming voice, speaking entirely telepathically. Sensing weakness, the crowd of voices grew louder, as did his own, the demands to join sides with the Guardians becoming more and more frequent.  Asphyxia dodged a blow from a Guardian, and retaliated with a kick to the crotch. She shoved him over, and noticed MK on his knees before the Guardian in black.
'MK!' she yelled, hurrying over. Before she reached him, somebody else roughly snatched at her, dragging her off and forcing her into another battle.

 *before Infernos snapped, Origin broke through and freed his mind, taking full control over MK and taking his own form on*You will regret your transgressions, Akumoni. Your fate has been judged. *Origin brought his arm forward, and concentrated full focus against the cloaked man. The deafening roar of expanding Dark Energy filled the head of the guardian, above and beyond fatal noise levels*~Origin

The Guardian had no chance to offer the slightest reaction before he collapsed to the ground, dead.  Kelissa fell over, striking her head on the ground. She cried out in pain, and before she was able to pull herself back to her feet, she found herself trapped. The attacking Guardian manipulated the molecules of the ground near her, forcing her to stay trapped in an icy prison. She pulled herself upright and grabbed an ice bar in each, meeting the Guardian's glower head on. She tried to muddle his thoughts, disrupt his concentration to be able to escape again.  Throwing her arms out to the sides, Evza summoned up a mighty blizzard, to keep the advancing band of Guardians at a safe distance. Several of their feet began to freeze over. A sheet of ice blew up, flying for the Guardians and sliced clean through the arm of one. Blood spewed from the new stump, spilling over the pure white snow, a severed hand dropping straight in the middle of it. Evza did not even allow a small smile at wounding one of them, which was just as well; a second later, the wounded Guardian's hand started to regrow.

*Origin looked to Gaertim who had just broke through, the blood fountain draining out through the new hole. Turning around he saw all those around in trouble. Making his way back, he took out 3 guardians simultaneously by collapsing their skulls with dark energy*The time is now, members of the resistance.

The prison around Kelissa started to collapse, as the Guardian's focus began to drain away. She sent her left arm flying through the ice, and smashed her way free. She grabbed a hold of the Guardian, putting him into a headlock, and snapped his neck. Asphyxia shrieked as she tried to free herself from the grasp of the Guardian attacking her. Another one appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and caught her foot as she kicked out. He grabbed both her ankles, and the girl was lifted up between the two men. She yelled and writhed, trying to loosen their grips, and a wave of electricity momentarily sparked out from her. It caught the Guardian behind her, who fell back, body charred.
The Guardian holding her ankles was unaffected however, and remained holding onto her. But since there was nobody supporting her torso, her head and upper back painfully crashed to the ground with a loud crack. She moaned, holding a hand to the back of her head, looking a little dizzy.

*Origin approached Asphyxia and the man that had tripped her. with a hand out at the guardian, Dark Energy shot through him, imploding his inner organs and leaving his body to crumble*There is much work yet to be done. It is not a good time to be on the ground. *He offered Phyx a hand, and dispatched another nearby guardian with a headshot from fingertips*~Origin

Still holding the back of her head with one hand, she reached up with the other, and took MK's. She pulled herself to her feet, and managed a small smile. 'Thanks.'  Paris charged on ahead, rapier at the ready, and skewering anyone who stood between him and the Citadel's entrance.

 You know, I... never realized how badly I would fare around blood. *Gaertim crawled up out of the blood-filled hole, resting face first in the snow as the hole drained down the river through the ridge* *Leucosia looked on to Gaertim and pinched her nose shut, prudely looking away*
I am so not going into that bloody hole.

Evza, who was fighting within earshot of Leucosia's words, hastily finished up her battle with a Guardian. She wandered carefully to Leu, and shoved her in.

 ... I hate you Eevee. So much. So, so much.  *A guardian had snuck up behind Sephira while she was busy facing the tower, summoning up a sphere of wind. She heard a crack in the ice and before she could turn around a knife had slit the side of her throat*

 Gallaine ran over to Sephira, and released an inferno of flames at the Guardian attacking her. She then held her hand to the wound on the other woman's neck, and healed it.

'Don't mention it, let's just keep moving!' Gallaine urged, launching more fire to keep away any more Guardians that might try to attack. She turned on her heels and ran over to where MK had vanished, and leapt down the hole too. Kelissa, Asphyxia, and Jervaid rapidly followed suit.

*Origin led the way up through the old fountain, with Gaertim, Sephira, and a very cross Leucosia. The fountain had dried out now, and the resistance made their way into the emptied cement basin, in the middle of the empty tower lobby.*~Origin
