Izanagi sighed to himself, when he noticed Suzuo intention to fight. Lazily, he raised one of his hands to his hair and grabbed one of the plant seeds that he hid in there. Pulling out the seed, Izanagi willed the plant to grow. Soon the area was filled with a relaxing scent as the plant continued to grow and finally bloomed into multi-colored flower.
"Do you really want to know why I feel odd to you?" asked Izanagi in slight boredom as held onto the little flower that he just grew.

Izanagi dragged his free hand through his hair as he began to explain, "As I've said before I watch over Shiki-chan. And it wouldn't be for the first time if I killed to protect her." At the end of his explanation, a low growl rumbled through his chest at the thought of the people who tried to harm Shiki.

Izanagi sighed to himself in relief that a fight with someone he hardy knew was avoided. He didn't really want to make a bad impression on people before his first day at the school. Turning back to Darren he said just loud enough for Suzuo to hear, "No one dies, as long as Shiki-chan stays unharmed. You guys better not tell her what I've doing for either."
With that said Izanagi headed back over to Shiki and latched himself to her as if he were a little kit again.

Shiki felt a bit agitated when Izanagi returned and had promptly latched his arms and tail onto her waist. As he was hugging her, Shiki caught the familiar scent of the multi-colored flower that Izanagi consistently used to avoid fights. Curious for why Izanagi would even need the blossom, she voiced her curiosity to him. "Why do you have the Serenity Blossom out with you?"
Realizing that Izanagi might have provoked a fight with Darren while they were talking, Shiki demanded not noticing her change in suffixes, "What did you do to Darren-kun?"

Izanagi had been contently nuzzling and hugging Shiki's waist when he heard her burst of questions. He felt her growing agitation and quickly released her before Shiki decided that she wanted to burn him today. "I did nothing but the usual greeting give to your male friends," Izanagi said trying to pacify his younger cousin but that didn't seem to work as he felt her heat start to radiate off of her. So he tried changing topic by asking, "but what I'd like to know is when did Darren-SAN becom Darren-KUN, hmm?"

"Ano... what do you mean?" asked Shiki as she avoided the question and avoided her cousin's inquiring stare. The heat that had been radiating off of her from her irritation was completely gone and in its place was a cool warmth that obviously showed her embarrassment. The previous reason for her irritation and agitation now forgotten.

"Aww... does Shishi-chan have a new crush," teased Izanagi lightly as walked closer to Shiki and then leaned down to her face. He had to leaned down because he was a good head taller than Shiki's current height.

Izanagi straighten up from his position over Shiki, while turning to look over at Aphra and the others, and gave a firm nod in silent understanding. He turned back to Shiki and said, "I have to for now Shishi-chan, but I'll see you tomorrow."
Before he headed off he raised his hand and used it to mess up Shiki's hair. As he walked by the other's on his way out he whispered a threat, "If you ever hurt Shiki, you'll be missing something very dear to you."

Shiki flushed in embarrassment when she realized Izanagi used her childhood nickname. She was glad that someone had distracted him from his current topic. When Izanagi left she asked Darren in worry, "So what did Izanagi-kun say to you? He didn't hurt you or anything, right?"

Izanagi left the mall rubbing his head in pain, while cursing every person with metal like bones.

"If you're sure," replied Shiki hesitantly knowing what her cousin could do to people he didn't like, while also thinking, 'He better not have threatened my friends again. He can be such an over protective a** at times.' "Should we head off to the fabric store now?"
