((I'm officially calling this Rp as dead. It's a mix of reasons such as a lack of people and my own perfectionism not liking what's happening anymore. I'm going to put up a plan as to what I had wanted to happen as well as the epilogue that I've had sitting from about chapter two.))
Chapter Five
Final Chapter in a nutshell
Kay phases through the doors to find lab#000. Seeing that there's more clones growing in tubes, she goes on a frenzy destroying everything in the lab before warping back to the others. Once everyone is in the central room again, the blast door opens and lets them through to a wide circular room. Standing in the arena is Ian. Someone throws the first move at him only for him to reveal that he has his own powers, as well as augments from his research. Big fight ensues with Ian easily overpowering the remaining four. Just before he can throw the finishing blow, his power backfires on himself. Taking the opportunity, the four manage to badly wound Ian. With a command, he sets the self destruct in the facility off. Kay warps the four as far as her powers will take her. With warning sirens saying escape to the surface as soon as possible, Barry smashes a staircase through the ceiling telling the others to go first. Jansen keeps the guards at bay while the others move through the levels to the surface. Reaching the surface, they find themselves trapped behind a thick wall of concrete and stone. With Barry and Kay sapped of their strength, Jayna calls out to the near by fire spirits. With their help, they burn a hole big enough for them all to escape. With seconds to spare, they all reach the tree line before the building rumbles with the internal explosions. As they watch, sirens can be heard in the distance coming to check on the explosions. Taking no chances, the four let Kay warp them away from the facility to a safer distance. Saying their goodbyes, the four split off, Jayna heading home, Jansen going his own way and Kay and Barry going the same direction, clasping hands as they walk.
Epilogue
The rescue teams had been working restlessly for the better part of a week now. They had managed to save most of the scientists that had truly not known what had been happening further down. Most of the "experiments" hadn't been found as the explosives had been concentrated round their cells. By now, the teams were just going through to try and work out how many dead there were further down. One of the younger members of the team was working near to some partially solid remains of a lift shaft. Pulling away a slab of wall, he found an entrance to the shaft. Hearing a noise, he called for some quiet. Hearing it again he called down the hole that he had found. Softly, ever so softly, laughter was heard coming from the shaft.
By the end of the day they had entered, found and evacuated the person that had been found at the bottom of the shaft. As badly hurt as her was, it was a miracle that he had survived. The leader went over to the young man as he looked on.
"The man we found, he wants to speak to you. Nodding, he walked over to the man.
Truly a miracle. Missing a leg and half an arm, no food or water for nearly a week, yet still he lived. From the gurney, he looked over to his rescuer.
"Are you the one that found me? Tell me you name." For someone so hurt, his voice was powerful.
"Erik. My name is Erik Deidrich. The wounded mans eyes looked Erik over a few times before he spoke again.
"Do you have any family? Wife? Children?" Erik blinked for a second. The man was asking about his own family? What had happened down there?
"A wife and a son. We named him Arik after my grandfather. I know it's cliche, but I feel like he's going to go on an do big things. What about you? I don't even know your name." The man smiled. A wolfish smile that made Erik's skin crawl.
"My name? Call me Ian. Ian Miller."
