Emma nodded, going over a few spells in her mind that would cause considerable amounts of physical and mental pain.
Having only her own thoughts in her head was a strange and altogether unpleasant experience, but she banished the fear and stood straight.

Emma stuck to the shadows, sending a whipcord of spellfire towards the scientist. It wrapped itself around his ankle, fading before it could inflict anything but a rather annoying burn.
Meanwhile, there was a burst of searing blue from the room they had left behind, and Emma felt something began to stir. The minds and souls that had been bound to bodies twisted by Evros' experiments were released.

Annoyed by the spell, Evros turned on Emma, attempting to retaliate, but was met instead by a kick to the stomach from the Faun - who looked rather unhappy at this point. The doctor staggered back as the hoof connected with his chest. There had been signficant internal damage, but blood hadn't yet been drawn.

Still reeling from both attacks and the surprise that the group had managed to sneak up on him, Evros wasn't expecting a bolt of green energy to come flying at his face. It hit him square between the eyes and had him confused for a moment.

"I'm going to enjoy this" Remus said, picking up his guass rifle. Though the doctor had taken quite a bit of punishment, Evros managed to get into cover just as Remus fired his gun. The energy slug didn't hit him directly, but it did break a pipe along the wall. The pipe was blown open, causing a geyser of hot steam to blow into him.

The dead man made to attack, but there was something about Evros' magic that made him feel weak. The light coming from the old film projector on the counter flickered faintly as he still tried. And he at least managed to give the doctor a solid punch in the face, once he came out from behind his cover.

The impact from William's fist broke the doctor's nose, and it began to bleed, secreting more of the toxins from his bloodstream into the air.

Kaok caught one of the bullets in her leg, as she tried to kick at the doctor again. She fell back due to the attack, but wasn't out yet, even if those hallucinogens that Evros was secreting were starting to get to her. An old nightmare she had was trying to creep back into her head.

James dodged several of the bullets and sent another, significantly less powerful, blast of energy at Evros. It got him in the arm this time, and knocked his arm away mid-shot.

Emma caught a bullet in the shoulder but she barely noticed the pain. All she noticed was that her spellfire faltered and that something warm was trickling down her arm. Blood dripped from her fingertips as it made its way down from her shoulder.
Meanwhile, there was a faint whisper of power from beyond the door they had left ajar.

Remus squeezed the trigger on his weapon and the guass rifle fired another blast of super heated energy. The doctor managed to seek better cover and the slug left a large hole in the far wall. However, a few bits of shrapnel managed to lodge themselves in Evros' skin.

Evros' blood was now coming out fairly quickly, but all it seemed to do was make the visions worse, rather than kill him faster. He was getting angrier, just as they were, and in almost no time there were not only bullets being fired every which way, but the tiles seemed to suddenly want to fall from the ceiling.

The Faun barely dodged two or three of the tiles before another bullet grazed her arm, creating another wound. She bit her lip and tried to carry on.
