"Sorry."
Ysane loosened her grip around Salvador's torso ever so slightly. It loosened up further when he turned onto the Strip and slowed down to a nice, easy cruise. Only then could Ysane begin to listen to what he was saying. Why is he telling me this? I already know it. I was there, for crying out loud.
"Do they know what we're up against? Do they realize that pretty much all of them are about to be killed in a horrible way?"

Lilith
Lilith resisted the urge to roll her eyes; sometimes Lucifer could be even more of a ***** then even she was. She watched Vicky work out of the corner of her eye, enjoying the sight more then she thought she would. When they got home however, she headed directly for the kitchen, letting her glamour drop; she'd neglected to add more to her simple outfit of short, black cocktail dress. Lilith ducked into the fridge and surfaced with a take-out box of old Chinese food. Yum. She was slurping noodles up into her mouth when the other three drifted into the kitchen; Lilith held the box out towards Lucifer.
"Wanna bite?"

Wrath
"Well I guess I'll sit this one out, since I could hurt your body." He laughed hard as she attacked his body with her mouth. His hands started wandering, then something rocked SUV and the front windshield cracked. Wrath stopped her mouth from distracting him. Wrath looked past her hair and through the window. Ten guys were ringed around the SUV and the one that cracked the windshield had a look of disbelief on his face.
"Dumbass thought his puny rifle would shoot through this window. Well looks like our fun has been cut short by Justice's friends. There are shorts in the back, green duffel. Don't put any panties on, we'll continue this in a little while." Wrath kissed her hard before pulling her off his lap and opening the door. The men surrounding the SUV stepped back and raised their various weapons.
"Fella's walk away and live, or die." Flames erupted around his hands.

Justice
Justice listened to her and mused. No he hadn't told them exactly who they were up against.
"I told them enough. They know why they have to stop them and that's all." Justice was slowly taking control, Salvador was going dormant. He wasn't gone, just not as active as he had been.
"They are close, and they have stopped. My guys must of distracted them. That'll give us a chance to keep them out of the city." Justice slowed the Harley down and saw the two beams of headlamps, broken by running bodies. A man stood wreathed in flames.
"Wrath." Justice remembered there last fight and they had nearly died.

Lucifer
Lucifer scooped some of the food out and ate it quickly. Vicki and their plaything grabbed some, but Lucifer sent them to the bedroom.
"We'll order takeout in a little. Like I said I want a nice long massage. Don't stay away to long." Lucifer kissed her softly and padded into the bedroom. The blond and Vicki were stripped to nothing. Lilith had been right. Vicki was even more lovely as a young girl.
"Undress me."

"Oh, goody."
As soon as it was a viable option, she scooted off the Harley and kept a hand on her two swords at all times. She was an excellent fighter, but her range was mostly limited; Ysane was not a fan of gun katas. They were bothersome and oddly enough, highly predicable. Ironic. She scanned the area, not really paying attention to the whole-sale slaughter thirty meters ahead. She found what she was looker for a second later: Envy.
"Envy's here, too, Justice. She's the second sin we felt."

Envy
Envy climbed into the back, ignoring the intense heat and flames that were springing up all around Wrath now. She dug the fresh shorts out of the indicated bag, and rolled her eyes; they were even shorter then the ones she'd just had one. Figures. Envy pulled them on and wasn't surprised to see that fact that if she moved too quickly, or in the wrong manner, she'd be flashing the world. Well, if I die today, I die looking like a whore. Fun stuff. She climbed out of the jeep a few minutes later, her trusty M-16 in hand; Wrath was busy torching the last of the Virtue's followers.
"You know we could have questioned them, right?"

Lilith finished up her food in another minute or so; she was still feeling ravenous, but couldn't find anything else in the house. Great. Sighing, Lilith padded back towards the bedroom. She stood in the door way, a little surprised that Lucifer actually was just having a massage. Curios and curiouser. She didn't think he was mellowing, but Lilith had noticed that Lucifer had been acting strange since the rituals that afternoon.

Justice
Justice swung off the bike and draped his jacket over the seat. He unsnapped the holsters for quick draw and padded forward, his supernatural senses finally taking over Salvador's human one's. The Latino's normally brown eyes were now a very piercing blue. His skin was more golden than brown as well.
"Yes well I had been expecting a slut with that menace, but not that one. Good thing we are a match in powers. Strength and Justice always prevail. At least that's what the humans think." He saw envy exit the SUV rifle in hand as the glowing hell fire died as Wrath let the power recede.
"He's found a powerful body. Someone that can actually wield fiendfyre. That hasn't happened since, what Ares, or even farther back in Egypt, Ra. Wow, I thought the human's rage had died down quite a bit, wrong again." Justice stopped just short of Wrath's maximum range. The trouble was the assault rifle in Envy's petite hands.
"How we gonna play this out Ysane? The direct approach, or the indirect?" Strength was the master tactician, where you'd thing Justice was. Untrue. Justice had always been the master Negotiator. That's why the corrupt lawyers on Earth almost always burned in the pit. Justice was also an almost equal on the field of battle. The righteous fury of Justice was nearly the match of masterful tacticians. That's what made those two unstoppable most of the time. She would tell him where and how, and then he would unleash the terrible justice.

Wrath
"Why interrogate when the whelps come to the slaughter. Strength and Justice. We might be in trouble lover. I haven't seen those two lose a fight, well since Lucifer was part of the upper echelon of the angels. He almost always trounced them, when they fought together." Wrath crossed in front of her and stood on her left now. Wrath had the innate desire to protect her, even though he knew he didn't need to.
"Strength, four million years old and still looking hot. Amazing. What she call herself. Esane, Usane. Whatever. We don't have to worry about her, its that pathetic excuse named Justice. Always jumping bodies. I can see those baby blues from here." Wrath started breathing heavier, flames wising around him with every breath. Rising higher and hotter till they were swirling around him.
"I'll distract him, take her. Just when she thinks you are about to touch her, break off and jump him. He should ware down by then." Yeah right. They both had nearly limitless supplies of stamina. It could be over in a second, or a decade. Trojan war anyone.

Lucifer
Lucifer turned his head as Lilith walked in. He was on a massage table, below a brass poll in the ceiling, which Vicki was using to maintain her balance as she walked up and down his back. Their blond plaything for the evening was slowly working his calves, and Lucifer was just enjoying the feeling. He had had this done several times in the pit, women who had succumbed to their lust, having been masseuses. Right now though he was more relaxed than he had been in four million years.
"These two are wonderful. Simply fantastic." Lucifer noticed her questioning look and with a snap of his fingers the girl got off his back and the blond stopped working his legs. He rolled off the table and pulled on a robe, not tying it at all.
"What is troubling you love?" He crossed the gap between them in less time than a human would take, mere micro seconds. His arms wrapped around her lithe body.

That changed the equation. Ysane stopped beside Justice, frowning across the way at Wrath. She and Wrath had tangled when he was Ares, and again when he was Ra. She'd been able to defeat Ares (with the help of Hope and Wisdom), but had lost her body when Wrath had been Ra. In both fights she'd learned something: having a form that allowed Wrath to extend to assaults (both in range and deadly force) made him a much more powerful opponent.
"Happy thoughts, Justice, happy thoughts. As long as the humans think Strength and Justice always prevail, we will."
She chewed on the inside of her cheek, thinking; she could get inside of Wrath's range, easy, as could Justice. It was that damned Envy with her rifle that would be the crux; she could hit them both a half dozen times before they even got close to Wrath. As far as Strength was concerned, Wrath was the one to be a problem.
"...Indirect. As long as Envy has that rifle, we're as good as dead. We need to get inside it's range."
Ironically, that would put them close enough for her to touch, her much deadlier attack, but Ysane figured that they could avoid those devilish hands realistically easily.

Envy
A hot flash of green seared through Envy when Wrath mentioned Ysane; she was suddenly highly tempted to bring her rifle up and empty the clip into first Wrath's head and then Ysane's. It would be the easiest thing in the world; Wrath can't see me move, and Strength is speaking to Justice...the moment passed. Mostly because she couldn't figure a way to get out alive, with just her against Justice. Envy allowed herself a smiled. Patience. That is all a good hunter ever needs. Patience.
"They are stopping us out here, for a reason. There are a dozen areas inside the city, perfect for an ambush. But they choose to come out ********. They have supporters in the city, Wrath. They're keeping us away from a power source."

Lilith shook her head. Her sense of unreality of Lucifer only grew when he acted like the caring, loving boyfriend he was. It was one thing for him to tend to her physical needs, but an entirely new things for him to tend to her emotional ones.
"It's nothing. You didn't have to stop your massage for me. Go on back; I like watching them on you."
She stood up on her toes and kissed him, before pushing him back towards the table.

Justice
Justice let his hand fall to his pistol and then with a sigh he drew it, less than a second. He took aim at Envy and pulled the trigger, yet the bullet moved the wrong direction. Towards the swirling flame that denoted Wrath's position. There were two bullets, the sound of the firing sounded like a single shot. One bullet flew true towards Envy, the second towards Wrath. Justice moved and fired again, again and again. The gun hit the ground as he charged Wrath, the shots were an attempt to keep Envy from shooting at him. At the last second he juked right a beak of light coalescing into a broad sword. He swung up trying to slice her rifle in half.
