((I want that plushy, too. Vincent is my favorite video game character of all time. And thanks. ^^ ...But now I'm only two years from the "real world." I only have two years left to be a kid.
...Eh, I'll post later. I better get to bed, considering that it's midnight here right now.))

Thorn was getting bored sitting in the house . So she decided that she would go to the lake. She jumped off the couch and walked to the front door.
"I'll be down at the lake with the waterfall' Thorn yelled into the empty foryer before walking out of the house and heading to the lake. The lake was actually part of the house propertiy and was pretty close to the house.

Therin turned a little bit when she heard Thorn call. "All right. Have fun."
She then turned back to Suzuka. The poor girl looked as if she was about to break down at any moment. She stepped forward, putting her arm around Suzuka's shoulders. "Don't worry any, Dear. This isn't the first time that Gitano's gone out all day and needed help hunting at night. Your grandfather used to do it to him quite a bit, and he knew full well what would happen. And Gitano knew too. He wouldn't have gone with you if he hadn't wanted to, and wouldn't have stayed so long if he didn't think he'd be alright. He'll be fine once he gets back, you'll see."
Suzuka smiled a bit at Therin's assurance. Therin knew Gitano far better than Suzuka did, so if she said that everything would be alright, Suzuka just had to trust her. She was glad for the older girl's compassion.
When she got herself pulled together a little bit, she looked toward the door. "Did I hear Thorn say something about a lake and waterfalls?"

Thorn got to the lake and sat at the edge of the lake in the think lush green grass. The water was sparkling like diamonds from the moonlight . At the end of the lake there was a 20ft tall waterfall. The whole scene was quite magical looking . Thorn smiled peacefully as she looked at reflection in the water.

Therin returned Suzuka's smile. It seemed that she was calming down after her shock. "Yes, she did. It's actually right out back. You own it now. Would you like to go see it, or do you need to put things away still?"
Suzuka's eyes widened at the idea that she owned a waterfall. "We can go now. I put away everything that needed to go in the fridge or freezer already. The rest can wait." She motioned toward the back of the house. "Lead the way."
Cinder, who had missed Suzuka while she was gone, followed close on their heels as they made their way outside.
Therin brought Suzuka to a place on the lake a few dozen feet away from Thorn so that if Thorn wanted to interact, she could, but if she wanted her privacy, they wouldn't be intruding. "Well, here it is. What do you think?"
Suzuka gasped, her jaw dropping when she caught sight of the lake and falls. "Oh wow! Therin, this is beautiful!!"

Thorn was squating down with her arms around her knees looking at her relflection in the water. Somthing seemed to be troubling the young vampire. For she was'nt moving just staring at her reflection . Finally after a couple moments Thorn sat back down on the grass and put her feet in the water as she looked up at the stars.

While staring at the waterfall, Suzuka noticed that Thorn seemed to be acting a bit strangely. Not sure what to make of it, she decided to ask Therin first. "Say Therin, is there anything wrong with Thorn? I mean, I don't know her very well, but she looks a bit down." Suzuka kept her voice low, hoping Thorn wouldn't hear her.
Therin cocked her head listening to Suzuka, then studied Thorn. "Hmmm, you may be right," she replied in the same low tone before raising her voice to call to Thorn. "Say, Thorn. Everything alright?"

Thorn heard Therin call out to her and slowly turned her head over her shoulder to see Therin and Suzuka standing a few feet away from her. Thorn put on a fake happy smile and nodded.
"ya..im fine..im just reflecting and thinking about some stuff that happened a long time ago" Thorn said turning her head back around and stared at the water. Thorn did'nt want to worry everyone with the heavy burden that she carried with her.
Also even though she wanted to talk about it , maybe it would be better not to get them involed in the danger that Thorn's life faced. Of course at the moment Thorn was safe here on earth ..but people were after her life and one day they might find her.

Therin wasn't fooled at all, but she figured that now probably wouldn't be the best time to press things. "Alright. We were just wondering."
Suzuka had a feeling that Thorn wasn't being totally honest, and she thought that Therin knew it too. But since Therin wasn't making a deal out of it....
(Heh, alright, I'm fairly stuck here, y'all. I've been 'talking to myself' for quite a while, and I'm starting to run out of things to say....)

(Hmmm, I dunno. *shrug*)
"Alright." Therin turned to Suzuka. "Well, what would you like to do? We can stay out here more, or we could go back inside..."
Suzuka looked from Therin to the waterfall and back again, thinking and sighing. "Well, I hate to leave such a beautiful sight, but I am kind of hungry. It's past supper time and I haven't had anything to eat since linch....." She thought for a moment. Well, I guess the fall isn't going anywhere. I can always come back later." With a last look at Thorn, she turned and started walking back to the house.

After a while Thorn stood up and walked back inside the mansion. She went into the living room and started to watch tv again.

(I had wanted to wait...but my patience has worn quite thin) Gitano walked back into the house from the walk about town. He felt refreshed from the hunt and in the mood for some music. He noticed a quiet house, but figured that Suzuka was with either Thorn or Therin. If they wish to speak to me, they will know where I am.
Collecting a fiddle he had acquired a few years before moving in, he made his way towards the large patio in the garden. Smiling to himself he started to play.(A little different from the stuff he normally plays, but here's what he was playing: The Devil Went Down to Georgia)

Therin and Suzuka headed back into the kitchen where Suzuka fixed herself a large plate of food. By the time it was ready, she heard some fiddling coming from the garden. She piled up her things and headed outside to dine al fresco.
She caught the last part of the song, covertly staying back far enough to hopefully not put herself in danger if Gitano was still not quite in control of himself. She put her things on a small garden table while he played and when he finished, she clapped. "Very nice. Charlie Daniels is amazing. Too bad about that stroke last winter, though."
Suzuka sat on one of the garden chairs, fiddled with her food for a moment before turning back to Gitano. "So...feeling better?"
Therin followed Suzuka out to the garden. She could tell just by looking at Gitano that there was little danger of him attacking her.
But just the thought of food started to make her mouth water. She wasn't so far gone as to try attacking Suzuka, but she didn't want to wait too long and take any risks. "Well, if the two of you will be alright, I'm going to go out for a little while tonight. I'll be back later." With a bit of a nod to Gitano and a smile for Suzuka, she took a side path out of the garden and headed into town to hunt.
