"Yes..or something like that..." not that Bryan was thinking about yoga at that moment. he nudged Brooklyn again. "You sure you should be attempting 'yoga' with you legs in that condition. Not to mention on the floor and on top of me." He raised an eyebrow in question.

"Yoga heals both within and without." Brooklyn said wisely. Though he reached up and took the front of Bryan's shirt, using it to pull his upper body up to Bryan again. A look of uncertainty crossed his features. "You don't mind me being on top of you, do you?" He asked nervously.

Bryan blinked at Brooklyn. The though of him being on top of him wasn't bothering him in the slightest. Ot was comfortable, as some would say, it was an arc of comfort. He though about Brooklyn's last remarked and opened his mouth to answer before closing it again and smirking. "I guess i'll let you get away with it this time."

Brooklyn smirked. "Only this time?" He asked quietly in Bryan's ear, hesitantly tracing the outline of teh Russian's ear with his tounge, closing his eyes and enjoying the taste he could only describe as 'Bryan'.

The sound of a door slamming mad Brooklyn jerk back quickly, looking at the door leading to the entryway, panicking.

The sound of rustling plastic bags reached Brooklyn's ears. Crap

Garland sighed as he looked at the bag he was carrying. He wished Brooklyn had told him about them having no milk.

Bryan grinned, enyoyin the attention he was getting from the other. He snapped his head towards the sound of the banging door before raising an eyebrow and giving Brooklyn a side-long glance.

"And that would be?" he asked softly.

"My... adopted brother... I suppose you could call him." Brooklyn said quietly, fear still managing to seep into his voice. "This is his house. He let me stay when I literally had nothing." He looked at their compromising position. "I don't know how he'd react if he saw us like this." Despite his words, Brooklyn gripped on to Bryan's shirt harder.

Garland began to hum a tune he had heard on the radia in the car quietly as he began to walk toward the kitchen. He glanced at his watch. Brooklyn would be home from school soon.

Bryan raised his eyebrows. "well..." he looked between the kitchen dorrway and brooklyn a few times before sighing. "I don't think i want to wait around and see though."

He slowly got up, lifting Brooklyn up gently and placing him back on the kitchen bench, and rather reluctantly pulling away from him.

Garland walked in in time to see Bryan step away from Bryan. His eyes widened in alarm. "Who the hell are you?" He demanded, arms automatically taking a defensive position. He had been taught matial arts from a young age.

Brooklyn looked around Bryan and waved. "Sorry for scaring you" He said sheepishly. "This is Bryan. He's my... uh... friend..." Bryooklyn offered.

Garland raised an eyebrow. "And what are you and your friend doing here now?" He asked mildly, watching Bryan suspiciously.

Bryan stepped further away from Brooklyn, turned and folded his arms, raising an eyebrow at Garland.

"I was helping him get around without hurting himself," he nodded his head towards Brooklyn's mummified legs, "I'm sure thats not a problem with you." he said blankly.

Garland raised an eyebrow and looked at Brooklyn. "Where's Kai? I've never heard of him before" Garland said, gesturing toward Bryan, not acknowledging that Bryan was activily participating in this. As an afterthought Garland added. "And what happened to your legs?"

"I-" Brooklyn began then looked down at the floor. Whenever he was around Garland he never had enough courage to say what he was thinking. Instead, he slipped back into his school persona, the shy, quiet Brooklyn who was possibly too serious for his own good. Add to that Garland's naturally dominant personality and Brooklyn wondered why he never really got the chance to express himself. "I-uh..."

"Well?" Garland asked impatiently, putting the bottle of milk into the fridge.

Bryan rolled his eyes at the fact this Garland wasn't even acknowledging him. He didn't bother to even try to start up a conversation and leant on the bench beside Brooklyn. He stared at the orange-haired teen quizically, wondering why he was going back to his shy self again. He looked over his shoulder and narrowed his eyes. If he was going to be ignored he didn't see any point in being polite.

And if Brooklyn doesn't say something, i just might. Even if it will be a waste of time since it appears i'm not even here. he thought snappishly.

Brooklyn looked across at Bryan. "Kai is...uh..." He began again but couldn't continue what he was saying, he looked at Garland helplessly.

"Kai is what?" Garland asked, folding his arms and raising an eyebrow at Brooklyn. "What is he? Where is he? He's been the only person you've brought here for years. Ever since you came here, anyway. Is he sick?"

Brooklyn shook his head, eyes downcast. "I- No- He-" He started, trying to think of what to say with the words stumbling on his tounge.

"Can't you even say a completely sentence?" Garland asked meanly. He was only a few years older than Brooklyn but he had taken on the role as Brookyn's father of sorts. AT least that's how he saw it. Brooklyn acted so helpless all the time he needed someone to look after him.

Bryan looked back at Brooklyn and sighed at his behaviour. He turned back to Garland, hoping he would listen to him this time.

"Not that it's any of your busines what Kai does but i'm sure he's off having more than he should be having."

He stopped and stared at Garland, hardly being able to conatin his anger that bubbled up from nowhere.

"And maybe if you asked nicely, Booklyn may be able to explain everything to you." his snappish remark slipped out. He wasn't in any position to question Garland but he was feeling fiercly protective of Booklyn at the moment.

"And I suppose that since you've known Brooklyn for such a long time you can tell me everything about him, hm?" Garland asked waspishly. "Why are you even still here? You came here to help him get home. He's home." Garland glared at Bryan. He didn't like the vibe taht he was getting off the other. And he couldn't help but notice that Bryan was taller than him, making him dislike the other even more. He was used to being the tallest person wherever he was.

"I-I asked him to stay" Brooklyn managed to get out, feeling a burst of pride in himself for being able to complete a sentence. Normally he just avoided spending time with Garland so he didn't have to deal with the mostly prickly man. It was just easier to avoid him.

"Yeah, what he said," stated Bryan rather intelligently. He stopped leaning on the counter to glare down at Garland. It felt good to intimidate people with his height. Not that he didn't intimidate anyone when he was shorter than most people though.

"i may not know everything about Brooklyn but i do know how you should interact with people."

Bryan thought about that last statement.Ok, im not really the best role model but its the principle of the thing.
