Looking at the oddly amased group, Draxis stood tall. Responsibilty was not his forté, but he knew that in a group, roles must be taken. If his was to lead, then for the time being he would have to. Before speaking, he dropped the accent he had adopted entirely, far too tired to continue the charade."I think the most important purpose we have right now is the staff. It's provided us a link with whomever's caused this to happen- and we can open that link, somehow, using the word Shinn." The name swam around his mind since he heard it, as he tried to work out how it could be used. "I don't think that we can throw such a link away. If we travel, then Trajedie, I must ask you to guard the staff at all times, and keep it on your person." Tactically, she was the best choice. Not only would she be able to hide away in case of trouble but moreso she had had no desire previously to use the staff. "I was thinking that we need a magical expert who can help us communicate with this staff- which lead me to think that perhaps we should pay a visit to a High Elf town... we wouldn't be particularly unwelcome, and I'm sure they'd have more mages than anywhere else." Turning away, he rubbed his eyes. The night had taken a lot out of him. "We could take a ship to Ebion from Branwater. I'm sure we could sneak on board easily." Draxis thought to himself. The plan was somewhat risky- bringing him far too close to Claybridge. If someone spotted him, more problems would arise then were needed.

''Aha, unwelcome? A high elf town? Yes, see, the thing about that is that a vast majority of high elves would sooner see one of my kind clad in chains and put in stocks than waltzing around in their cities. I dare say the only thing that would be more bloody hostile to me would be a dwarf.'' He moans, to say he didn't relish the idea of a trip to high elf land was an unerstatement. ''Even if I don't follow my peoples ways, I will most likely be treated with suspiscion there, which probably wouldn't help us keep a low profile.'' He explains. ''Honestly, I have no idea why they hate my people so vigourously, something about their.. more extreme traditions, but it's a hate that won't go unchecked there. That said, if it is truly your destination, then you shouldn't bother sneaking aboard a ship; I believe I have enough coin left to pay for the voyage.''

Draxis sighed, an apprehensive look on his face. "Well then, we could always go to Claybridge. I know a mage there who might be able to help us, granted I haven't seen him in years." He had no desire to return to Claybridge, but if it would help the group's cause...

((Sorry.. my very best friend in the whole world came over and I hadn't seen him in months so I had to catch up with him and whatnot.))
Trajedie nodded as she listened. She looked at the staff which had been placed under her gaurd. She would have to better than she had before. She looked at the other wood elf as she thought of this. It was alright. She always learned from her mistakes. She opened her pack and pulled out her blanket as she listened to the plan being formed. She then wrapped the staff up carefully and tied the blanket shut with her last bit of rope. Again she looked over at the wood elf. She wished that the girl hadn't burnt through the other rope. It could have been used later for something else. Some creatures just needed to learn a little patience.

"So Claybridge is our destination then?" Draxis looked around at his new travelling companions. "We'll ask Air'gen what she thinks in the morning, it's important we all have a say.." Faking a yawn, he made a movement towards the door. "Right now it's far too late. I say we all get some rest for the time being." Stepping outside, he sighed, moving off into the night to find a place to quietly contemplate. Claybridge would bring a lot of problems for him, but if it provided a means to contact those linked to the staff and prevent disaster, it would be a necessity.

Trajedie nodded and turned to go further into the house. She placed her bag and the staff on the roof and climbed up after them. She then hopped down a few houses and moved to the best spot she could find. It was a place where a part of the roof overlapped another part, but left space for her to enter if she lay down flat. She slipped the staff in and slipped in herself. Before she slept she began thinking of the journey ahead of her and her responsibility in it.

Draxis kept walking for what seemed like an hour, the better part of the night already gone. Fatigue had began to struck him during his journey, as he saw the havoc the armour had caused. "For the good of everyone...I'll go back." He uttered to himself, before returning to the house the group had invaded. Careful not to wake Air'gen he slowly stumbled to the floor opposite her, flipping his hood up and placing his hands behind his head. As he gazed at the ceiling, the urge to sleep became too strong, and he fell into slumber.

Trajedie awoke on the roof and lokked around herself. She checked to make sure the staff was still in place and then gathered her things and hurried back to the group. She planned to continue sleeping away from the group as much as possible. She jumped from roof to roof until she came back to the house with the rest of the group. She entered the room the rest of them had remained in for the night and then moved over to Draxis. She shook him gently. "Wake up. It's best we start moving as soon as possible." She would finish rousing him first, and then move on to the others, unless the awakened on their own.

''You might have difficulty waking him, let's face it, it was a pretty crazy night yesterday.'' Jayrus says, emerging in the room they were in. ''I think a couple of the others are already awake. I decided to make myself useful and prepare some breakfast, I went back to the inn and found some supplies that hadn't been damaged. Eggs, some meat, etcetera. Most of it's ready, got it all layed out in this houses dining room. Tell everyone to help themselves and then we can finish discussing what's next, yes?'' He requests, before leaving once more, to finish cooking.

Draxis shook slightly, waking abruptly. With one eye open he noticed Trajedie, and let out a short yawn. "Morning." Slowly moving up, the sun had crept through the windows of the house, the smell of food ever present. A well cooked meal was something he needed. Making his way towards the smell, he saw Jayrus cooking. "How odd," He chuckled, making his presence known, "a dark elf that's civilized. I thought your kind just ate things raw?"
