Zack closed his eyes and thought for a second as he rested his eyes. She thought he was immature, but he turned his mental eye on her recent activity. She was rushing into a relationship. She was acting mature, maybe, but completely irresponsible. He'd take responsibility for his actions at least. So personally, he saw himself as the better. This was his coping for her statement.

Ansley was getting really anxious and bored. The silence was long-lasting, and she felt like screwing around with the boys. Not literally, of course. Just playing around. Her mouth opened as she was about to say something when her phone beeped. Taking it out, she noticed it was time for her medicine. Hmm..wonderful. "Excuse me," she said as she got up and turned off the alarm on her phone. She left to the hallway and took her medicine, not really needing to chase it down with anything. After the medicine, she stepped through the door to fresh, outside air. A moment later, she went back inside and into the conference room, and took her seat. She felt much better already.

"I don't hope it fails, but it will." James said casually. "How much can they really know about each other after only meeting each other today?" he asked, shrugging. Ah well. Not his place to interfere. He was a sucker for old fashioned romance that took time, not the rushed affairs of the modern world. He was silent as they walked in. He looked around the room, then at Chris.
"Alright, here's the deal. I've got better things to do with my time than sit around a conference room all day...no offence." he said to the others in the room.
"So, if you're going to continue to beat around the bush and not tell us everything straight up, I'm leaving." he stated, fully intending to do it. "You've got my number, you can call me when you decide to tell us what the missions are." he said.

Zack chuckled at James' statement. He agreed, but it wasn't like he could go home. Being a criminal, he just wished he could. He saw Ansley's phone go off, her leave the room, and then come back. He was curious as to why though.

Ansley smiled at James' comment. "I agree with that, James. You know, Chris, it gets rather irritating when your locked up, figuratively, in a room with the same people for hours, and than to have your...puppetmaster, to be dangling you and keep you waiting. Some of us have better things to do than wait on you." She was getting really irritated, and it made her feel better to tell someone off, evasively, of course. Bringing up her earlier comment made her smile.

Lori was a little iritated by Ansley's comment she sat up and shot the girl a questioning glare.
"You think this is annoying Ann. We've been in here what? A few Hours at most? Try being not so figuratively locked up in a smaller room with no one... no one. And, then after waiting weeks with no word from anyone have an opportunity handed to you and then have it burn up in your grasp. After which you'll wait four long lonely months... Just try it... then complain to Chris that he's taking up to much of your time..."
The young woman was annoyed and completely bored, she wanted to get out of there, she wanted to be allowed to drive, and she wanted a pretty badge.

Ansley was a little shocked at Lora, but she didn't let it show. After hearing what Lora had to say, she felt pretty bad. Therefore, she didn't say anything but just look at her. Lora had a point, but also, Ansley had claustrophobia and a history of anxiety attacks. Not the best thing for an agent, but she couldn't help what she was born with. Looking away from Lora, she waited for Chris to say something.

"The difference, Lori..." James said, looking over at her.
"Is that, no offence, but you messed up, somewhere along the line. Twice. The first misstep was getting into a life of crime. The second was getting caught." he said, not trying to be callous, but just trying to point it out. He did think that the criminals themselves deserved sympathy, but not for their actions and their consequences. Whatever you did in this world had a consequence: good or bad, that depended.
"That second misstep was the one that got you in that position. I may sympathize with you, but not about being in a cell." he said.

"James... First of all, I didn't mess up, I never 'went into a life of crime' and I didn't intentionally get caught. No one would intentionally get caught, that would be crazy."
Lora sighed and leaned back in her seat sending the same hard glare at James that she had sent at Ann.
"And I don't want your sympathy. You can't do anything for me James, a little sympathy's not going to get me anywhere. "
The young woman rolled her eyes and took out her compact opening it to glance at her reflection in the mirror.

"Well, I find it hard to believe that the courts would toss an innocent girl into prison for thefts, would they?" James asked, not backing down under her glare. "And no one intentionally gets caught." he added.
"I might not be able to do anything...but he can." he jabbed a thumb at Chris. "As can your partner." he added.
"Get this done right, and they'll lower your sentence, so the story goes." he said casually.

Lori touched up her lip color with the side of her pinky nail then snapped her compact closed and looked up at James again.
"You're country's criminal justice system is so ******** up I might be totally innocent, who knows? And I'm not doing s**t unless I get my whole sentence waved. There's no way in hell I'm going back to that hell whole. You ever been locked up James? Do you know what that does to you? It messes with your mind Jay. You go crazy. "
Lora shivered in thought of having to go back into lock up. She's kill herself if she had to go back, she would.

"Damned if I know if it'll get waived. Ask Chris." James said, getting up. He was starting to get annoyed, not at Lori or anyone else, just at Chris, and being made to wait arbitrarily. "I'm going to grab some lunch from the cafeteria, and then head home. Anyone want anything while I'm there?" he asked, meaning the cafeteria.
