Stopping, he looked over his shoulder to where the girl, and massive bear, should have been. "The hospital is right down that way." He spoke, pointing down the road to where the facility was. It was rather ironic, that so soon after waking from his own coma, he was sending another man to the hospital in a coma of his own. Turning again to face Karo, he gave a short nod. "I'm going to have to report to the Kazekage. I'll meet you..." He trailed off as an idea occurred to him. "Why don't you head to the market, pick up some lights, and meet me at the base of the tower?" With that, the boy turned and walked off, headed for the tower himself. Hopefully the Kazekage would actually be there. [Exit to Tower] ~ [Chakra: 52/60]

"Thank you, David....." Murasaki nodded politely, though she hated the fact she was going back into Suna, but she appreciated the directions. As Murasaki lifted Gensai again, Kami gotten behind her, as she bowed quietly towards the chunin, as she left off towards the hospital... Why was it she was always there when Gensai falls into a coma? She believed the last time was partially her fault. She treaded through the sand, as she walked off towards the medical center in suna.

The sun hovered over the crevice of Sunagakure, the heatwaves radiating from it made this day unusually hotter than most in the barren dessert. The guards that were stationed there were sighing and yawning...nothing interesting had happened in quite some time. Things were getting fairly dull...but in the end they'd rather have that then things getting hectic. As the guards shifted their positions, one of them spotted something in the distance. Three blurs traveling fast towards them. The guards stood at the ready, no one could tell who they were yet and it could be an enemy. One of the guards took out a pair of scopes, looking through them in order to make out who the three targets were. "It's the scouting squad!"yelled the one with the scope as the guards stood at ease. As the scouting squad neared the crevice, the guard in charge stood in the middle of the crevice awaiting for their report."Well? How'd everything go?"he asked, his arms folded across his chest.
He already knew the answer, the scouting mission went off without a hitch and nothing was found out of the ordinary. It's how things have been for the past weeks. However, the squad was panting, heavily breathing as they looked at the guard with distraught faces. "We've got...a problem...shinobis from Iwagakure...we spotted them to the Mountains in the North East. There was three squads there...we couldn't have possibly engage them. They seem to be performing scouting missions of their own, gathering information on Sungakure. They may have very well infiltrated us!" the leader explained, seeming out of breath as he placed his hands on his knees. He was of course concerned...shinobis from Iwagakure scouting on Suna? It could very well be in preparation for an attack. Suna would have to gather its defenses, maybe strike first before they are struck. Sometimes he who gets the first hit may very well win the battle. "The Kazekage must know of this right away!" the guard stated, putting the rest of the guards on high alert.

The guards were so distracted for the attacks in the village that security at the crevice seemed somewhat laxed.  TachiDistracted the guards may have been, but not all of them, and not so much that they gave up on their basic training. When an attack was made within the village, the gate watch increased to ensure no escape. Normally the sand sight was used only in shifts, being activated every while to make sure there was no change. In this situation though, that became a constant watch. Below the city entrance a barrier was fixed to keep anything, or anyone, passing below close enough to the surface to be easily within range of the technique. And for the ANBU captain of the gate guards, spotting the large puppet trying to scurry away below the sand was almost pathetically simple. Taking a step out of the shadows of the gate, Tachi made a single handseal before slamming his hands down on the sand, the only evidence from above of him having done so being a slight rippling around where he touched. Below the sands however, several shark shaped lumps of sand shot downwards, chasing after the fleeing puppet at a speed it couldn't hope to match. When they reached it, they would latch on, two to each limb of the puppet, and begin dragging it towards the surface. Recognizing the man's actions, another ninja on guard immediately ran off into the village, headed for the training facility. ~ Yeeeaaah, you didn't really think I wasn't gonna get my teeth into this did you? With Tachi sitting right here on guard duty? Now get back here. You should know better. ^_^ Edit: Ah, forgot one thing. In any other case, the opposing chakra in the sand will repel the chakra pulse, making it impossible to see through. As the user’s rank grows, so too does their ability with this technique. Genin - 15 feet Chuunin - 25 feet Jounin - 35 feet Kage - 50 feet Ichibi Host - 100 feet. The Ichibi host has greater power over this technique, due to the simple fact that he is more in tune with the sand itself than anyone else could ever be. This is a passive technique. Meaning it can remain active as long as the user is able to supply it chakra, regardless of what else the user does. Quote: Name: Suna Same (Sand Shark) Description: Forming the necessary seals, the user channels chakra into the sand beneath them, forming it into a small shark, about the length of the users arm. The shark is capable of swimming beneath the sand at considerable speed, and leaping out at will to bite at an opponent. Given the overall size of the shark, it is not capable of inflicting serious injury unless it is able to latch on and the opponent is unable to remove it. Several sharks can be created with this technique.

{ Of course it will. Zane only has that one puppet left, so under attack from Tachi, and whoever shows up from the training facility, he's pretty much dead. You didn't really think you'd get away alive did you? }

"Aww come on..." the salamander sighed as it was suddenly clasped by something immensely powerful. Being pulled upwards by the sharks, the puppet made a sighing sound as it prepared its insides. Exploding over the surface, the body was still being clutched by the sand sharks at each limb, now facing the Anbu Captain Tachi. Not today... thought Zane as the top of the Salamander ripped open, smoke exploding and rising from the puppet. As the smoke cleared, a red shinobi backflipped off of the puppet and was now standing tall on the ground, his right arm held outward as another shinobi, a blue one rose from the puppet as well. The two were now standing side by side, the Salamander still being clutched onto by the sand sharks as the Anbu Captain now stood to face them. A beam of light emanated from their foreheads, but the red one had a rather large red cylinder atop of his red chestplate. "Great..." the red one sighed, "guess I shouldn't have half assed this. As the puppet was yanked from the ground, and suddenly more were summoned, the ANBU stood upright once more, laying his hand on his sword but not drawing it. Not yet. Two of the remaining guards, mere chuunin really, fanned out to the sides with their swords already drawn, getting behind the puppets as quickly as possible but not closing distance with them. Information had already reached the gates on how the fights thus far had gone. Explosions and distraction tactics were this enemy's forte.
Well, two could play at that. If this enemy truly proved strong enough to have caused such chaos, and he truly couldn't bring him down here, backup would be arriving soon enough. He just had to keep him here. Drawing his sword and advancing, Tachi spoke. "Ironic, that the last time my assistance was needed was to stop a rogue of our own village from entering, and now I must stop one from leaving. Tell me, Zane Hajime, are all S ranks so unreliable?" With the last word, Tachi kicked off, launching himself forward at a speed only one who has trained in the desert their entire life could imagine. Reaching the puppets in a mere second, Tachi lunged, stabbing directly at the one anomaly. The red cylinder on the red puppet. Before impact though, he was suddenly gone, shifted to the side as the attack would instead impact the blue puppet, in the exact same spot.

The technique can only be used on sand or soft soil but it allows the shinobi to move in a blur without moving even a single muscle, making it impossible to judge based on body movement where they will move. Any sort of movement is allowed, from straight lines to curves or zigzags, but the maximum distance remains 10 feet.

Zane paid no attention to his words, nor did he bother to waste time with a response. Both himself and Blue Bomber were stepping backwards. Just as the jounin lunged to strike at his own cylinder, Zane jumped back further as he attempted to dodge the strike and only leave with a nick rather than a full thrust into his life force. However, Tachi dissapeared completely, aiming the thrust into the Blue Bomber. The blade pierced through its chest plate, however, it was Tachi who would be done for. Just as the blade pierced the chestplate, Tachi triggered the explosive tags that were inside the Blue Bomber's chestplates. Used as a long ranged weapon, Tachi caused the explosion himself by stabbing his blade through the mechanism. Zane had actually nothing to do with it and was surprised by such an attack, Tachi did the work for him. Taking this oppurtinity, Zane outstretched his hand, as he pulled upon it. Out from the Salamander jumped out a single scroll in which Zane took a hold with his hand after using his chakra string technique. Deciding to make a break for it, Zane turned around and made a mad dash towards the desert, he kept his hand by his sword and attempted to put as much distance as he could from the Suna guards. He knew that if he could just keep running, the guards would not be able to keep up with him. In this race, it wasn't speed but stamina...who could keep running at their pace the longest. For Zane he could keep running at top speeds as long as he needed to, since he neither tired nor slept. Not only that, the Maverick Hunter is a puppet designed for speed and offensive combat.
Explosive Tags (Chestplate) Hidden inside the chestplate are a total of five explosive tags ready to be shot out at a moment's notice. The tags can only be shot out one at a time, however it can be used in conjunction with the other weapons.

Tachi~
Even as the puppet exploded, Tachi vanished from sight again, reappearing an in instant several feet behind the puppet, the technique he used having been intended to move several feet, while the puppets had only been a couple feet apart.
As the red puppet, which by process of elimination was almost guaranteed to be Zane, turned to run again, the two chuunin, who had already gotten behind the puppet's position simultaneously activated the same jutsu. Two ropes of sand launched from the ground at their feet, shooting towards the fleeing puppet's legs. Upon reaching them, the ropes would wrap tightly around the limbs, holding him back at least long enough for Tachi to catch up.
Which would not be long, as Tachi had started running again the instant his technique stopped, blade poised to attack as soon as he was within range again.

"Not today kiddies," Zane stated as he jumped up into the air. Suddenly, an explosion of chakra poured out of his boots as Zane was launched forward, as if dashing through the sky as he bypassed the shinobis and the sand ropes that were attempting to grab ahold of him. Zane wasn't going to let himself be caught, he still had way too many things to do before he died. As he was sailing through the air and trying to put more distance between himself and his pursuers, Zane gripped the scroll in hand. Opening the scroll up, Zane casted a single seal with his hand as an explosion of smoke enveloped him. The smoke permeated around him, blocking himself from his pursuers. Whatever Zane just summoned, it could be dangerous. It was his Plan B, something he wasn't planning on using...something he hadn't used since he was Kazekage himself.
Hienkyaku (Foot Parts) : By using 2 chakra points, the user activates the puppet's esplosive foot piece, which sends the puppet dashing in a single direction. The great boost in speed can be used for both dodging or for frontal attacks. However it should be noted that using the Hienkyaku makes the puppet harder to maneuver and can not change direction until the puppet has come to a complete stop. Not only that, but it takes a two post cooldown before the dash can be used a second time.(Hienkyaku can be used in the air)

Tachi~
Tachi growled as Zane took off, avoiding the ropes with ease. The chuunin tried to change target and chase him, but the ropes were far too slow to keep up with the puppet. Tachi knew he wouldn't be able to keep up if the puppet kept using whatever that trick was, and he couldn't fight in the air. So, he did what he could. Running through several handseals, Tachi pushed a large amount of chakra out into the air and sand around him. And then, with one large burst of chakra, he pushed. The sand in front of him immediately rose up in a massive cloud as the wind picked up, catching the sand and flinging it forward in a spinning whipping mass. A sandstorm, aimed directly at the puppet in midair. And out here it wouldn't just stop after a little while like normal either. It'd keep going further and further, getting bigger and bigger as nature took over. Even if the puppet did escape, it'd be caught in the storm for it's entire trip. The slashing winds dragging rough sand across it, grinding it's way into every seam and joint. And if they were lucky, shredding the core that supplied it life.
All Tachi would have to do, was send out a retrieval team to find the sand clogged puppet later, since the reinforcements did not seem to be coming. And even if that didn't stop the puppet, there was an extra surprise mixed in. The initial burst of sand was charged with traces of chakra. Traces Tachi could follow to the ends of the earth were they not removed. And in a sandstorm, it was a sure thing that some would stick on someplace they couldn't be removed. Even if Zane changed puppet again, it was unlikely he could bathe the flesh core that kept him alive.
With the sandstorm making it momentarily impossible for anyone to give chase, Tachi signaled the chuunin to secure the salamander puppet, and they immediately headed for it. The sand sharks fell apart to normal sand again, and the chuunin began dragging it back towards the city. Tachi on the other hand, turned his sand sight back on, peering into the storm to see what became of Zane.

The only trick to this technique is somehow getting some of the sand on the person or persons you want to track. The sand can be intermingled with another technique or it can simply be left on the ground, leafs, and branches to brush off on passers by. Even if the sand is stuck inside something, like a pocket or shoe, if it is submerged in water it becomes useless. The length the charge on the sand remains for is dependent on their abilities. Sorry about taking so long. I went out and bought a couple new games, which demanded I play them obsessively. I was kinda hoping the guys at the facility would come to play, but I guess they don't care anymore.
