[You came around before we left the gates, and a nagging suspicion can cause anyone to backtrack. Yes, we were talking about how to kill your RPC, but we didn't do it right away, nor did we know who she was right away. We questioned her and asked for her papers and documentation, she reveled her status after a couple questions. It's called curiosity. I guess you don't know what meta-gaming is.]

Sora watched as the Hokage appeared and began talking to the ninja next to her. Out of common courtesy, she didn't talk, but then he walked away all too quickly before she could get a chance to finish the business that she had been sent to do. She gave a low and exasperated sigh. Instantly, she took out the scroll she was supposed to give to the Hokage and waved it around in the air slightly.
"I need to give this to the Hokage on behalf of My Lady. If I am not allowed to speak to him face to face, could somebody please give this to him for me?" Sora asked quietly, pretty sure that at least somebody would have heard her.

The chunin that was posted at the gate looked at the girl. "You can head on in to the training grounds if you want. I think the Hokage is there if not a clone." The chunin went back to his book hoping the day would ebb out to something that didn't involve him doing paperwork.

Sora nodded slightly. "Thanks." She said under her breath. Now, where were the training grounds? Sora knew that she would find them if she looked around a bit. She walked quietly into the gates then saw them. Oh, there they are.

Sayuri went to answer Kamiko, but she was gone, "Brat," she said, and turned back to the Hokage and Kuza, watching the transaction take place. She bit her lip, and turned back to the gates, leaning against them, and sat down. She didn't know what she was doing at the moment, but if anybody asked, she was guarding the gate.

Konaga Shinji
Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin

Had they taken their time, the journey through the woods could have taken a day, or even longer, but as it was, Shinji was moving at full speed, without stopping or resting. Konaga didn't really understand the concept of fatigue as others did. Sure, they got tired like everyone else, but the symptoms of tiredness often took much longer to reach them then others. Their bodies being furnaces of raw unbridled chakra, their muscles had been trained since birth to endure even the greatest pains, and as such had created incredible endurance. This was not to say the body did not feel fatigue, but it took longer for the Konaga to realize it to the point of succumbing to it, as the base level of pain which screamed throughout their system deadened most anything else they might feel in terms of tiredness. As such, the journey was quick, taking only a few hours to reach the other side of the woods from their entry and it had been uneventful despite their high level of alert.

Bursting forth through the last line of trees, Shinji came to a wide open road as he saw the gates of Konoha not far off from where he stood. With a solid landing, Shinji came to a dead stop, waiting for his sensei to join him, surprised that he had done so without showing any sign of fatigue as well. Nodding to him silently, Shinji began to walk forward, approaching the gates in a relaxed and non-threatening pace, making a quick check of the document they were carrying to assure it was still where he las placed it.

Knowing the routine of his own village, Shinji figured that their would be forms to fill out, but as he neared the gate guards, he suddenly stopped as he surveyed the land before him. Definte signs of struggle had taken place outside the gates, and it would seem that it was fairly recent. "Akira-sensei... look. Scorched earth again, but this time it looks like there is an accompanying hole at the scorched area's epicenter." Moving in for a closer look, Shinji's keen eye found dried blood in the area... and again, a lot of it. Following the same procedure as before, he removed another pouch and took a sample of the dried blood, placing it into a separate pouch, and placing it away in an easily distinguishable spot from the other pouch with dried blood/dirt.

"That's two instances of struggle on the same road with similar aspects. They could be completely unrelated, but to take place right outside the gates of the village is strange" Continuing to survey the scene, Shinji's eyes yet again caught sight of something strange as he approached a fragment of what seemed like burnt wood lying out in the open. Shinji walked over and examined it carefully before picking it up, turning it around as he examined it closely... "Hmmm... looks like a part of some larger structure that was blown apart. Maybe some kind of delivery problem, where explosives might have caused a cart to burst? Though I would expect a much larger amount of debris then this if that were the case. I'd say it's definitely something to ask the guards about... wouldn't you agree? It may be completely unrelated to what we saw, but there is no harm in asking, especially since no one would be on the Death Road excepting that they were traveling from Fire to Iwa or vice versa. Surely, they would know of any recent travel through the road, or at least, in the direction of the road, and they might be willing to share what happened here if they saw it."

Akira Kuromiya
Iwagakure | Jounin | ???/Chakra Control
Chakra: 85/85

It was one thing for Akira to make this kind of journey without becoming too tired, however, it was much more unusual for Shinji to be the same way considering the huge differences in their experience and training. This was more than raw talent or skill, there was something else powering the youth. It was almost like he was a force of pure energy. It was different from what he knew of the Jinchuuriki, and he would have thought there would have been more reactions and fuss from the people they'd passed in Iwagakure if he was a host.

Akira moved forward with Shinji to the gate, allowing the boy to take the lead, in all aspects of the delivery mission and investigation. If Shinji missed something or made a mistake, Akira would step up and take control, but for now he was going to let the youth grow into his own.

He absorbed surrounding's information slowly at first but the speed at which his perception received the information sped up considerably as Shinji pointed what appeared to be another battle site. He bit his lip, not liking what he was seeing, and Shinji's rationalizations only served to make him more concerned. If he was trying to sort this potential situation our with such ridiculous ideas then Akira's gut told him all the more to assume the worst. The pressure on his lip ceased as his expression softened into a blank canvas, his mind overwhelmed into a state of cold rationality.

"Shinji, don't be absurd, assume the worst but act on evidence. Find out what you can from the guards and gain us passage via the appropriate channels. Your possession of that document gives you the right to gain what information you require under the Mutual Information Treaty that would have needed to have been established for such document transferal to be possible. Since there were scenes in both countries this is an area of mutual interest and Konoha would be foolish to deny us. When you're done signal me, and we will complete our mission."

Akira squatted down near some of the charred ground and began to scan it for any extra details while Shinji moved forward with the assigned tasks.

Konaga Shinji

Having been drawn into thought as he examined the wood, Shinji began to branch many far reaching theories in his head as to what had happened here. He must have been showing his inexperience with such matters in some very obviously way however as he was quickly chided and set back on course by his sensei. As Akira began to speak, Shinji turned to listen, acknowledging the man's greater experience with such things in telling him to assume the worst. In this case, it would be that someone was intentionally killed on the Death Road, and that either the struggle started here, or ended here.

Shinji was truly thankful that his sensei was here with him and that he was so lucky to have one of such experience. A wave of admiration washed over him as he looked up to Akira, nodding at the order as he took the fragment of wood and tucked it away in his various pockets and pouches to be dealt with later. "Yes Sir.", were his only words as he obeyed as he was told, immediately turning around to gain access to Konoha and learn what he could of the scene. Approaching the gates, Shinji found the forms at the table where several Chuunin attended the paperwork, but his eye quickly floated to another at the gates. It would after all be somewhat hard to miss her given her attire.

Filling out the form, Shinji decided that one guard was just as good as any other, and walked up to the woman, holding out the form to her as he began to speak. "Konaga Shinji, reporting to Konoha on a mission from the Iwagakure. I carry some important documents for the village." He said before removing the documents to show the guard. "However, before I deliver them, I'd like to ask you a few questions if I may. The scene here at the gates, it looks like there was some kind of a struggle. Would you by any chance happen to know what happened here?"

[[technically she was just teaching NPC who stepped in to stop the arguement that was going on in OCC]]

I talked to Danger about this, and he says that he'll roll with it, so Shira should be able to handle the RPC as a Gate guard for now.

NPC.

Sayuri looked up at the youth and frowned, taking the document, and reading it briefly, "I don't see why this is any concern of an Iwa ninja, since this happened on Konoha ground, but I can tell you it wasn't pretty. I myself, only saw the end of it; and got vague answers from the witness. Apparently we had a spy try and infiltrate the village. When I got here, I found a group of people trying to kill the girl; even though she was already half dead from blood loss due to a massive wound to her shoulder. I've never seen that much blood on her. Not to mention she was covered in dirt, rocks, dust, and looked like she had come out of a war." she inclined her head to the side, and starred at the area where Kamiko and the others held the girl.

"Something was off though... the wounded girl was too... messed up. There is minimal damage to the area, but she looked like she got into an intense fight,"Sayuri pursed her lips together. She had seen many battle scene's in her day and age. The girl was bloodied, bruised, and all around messed up. The one boy (did they call him Tai?) said they were waiting for the Hokage. The ANBU girl did get a little trigger happy, she smirked, but there's no way, that that the little damage to the area surrounding the rouge ninja, had done that much damage to the girl's body. No, she thought bitterly, she was in a fight somewhere else.

She looked back up at the Genin, and frowned. The more she thought about it, the more she realized, something wasn't adding up. Not to mention why was a Genin curious about to what happened. It was an everyday occurrence to see ninja fight, especially within their own village. She cleared her throat and cocked her head to the side, "You wouldn't happen to know something... would you?"
