Kurai snarled, sounding almost as feral as Kit, and flung a light beam into Travon's left hand. Problem was, he didn't expect it, so it went through his hand. "Freeze, or i swear you will NEVER be a father."

"well oviously he sent me to spy" travon said deciding to cooperate for 'his' sake. he knew of one new member, the weird white haired guy but he'd like to know what he was able to do it had to be good for kit to add him to her group dispite the childish behavior. the lights didn't seem to fade out like when kurai kills the lights but more like something shorted them out. so he knew of one other but he hadn't seen this person. there could be more people but he doubted it seeing as they were staying here not a big hotel.

Her eye twitched at the tone of his voice. Kit went up to him and within seconds had the her switchblade out of her pocket, open, and at his throat. "Oh and lemme guess, you willing went along with this plan of dear Toadie because you thought I wouldn't hurt you because I was your friend huh? Hate to break it to you, buddy, but no one in that group are friends." She grinned and as she talked she had taken the blade away from his throat and had run it down the left side of his face. Hard enough to cut the skin but not hard enough to kill him. From his temple to his chin there was a long, clean cut that was slowly dripping blood down the boys neck.
"It's ok though. We'll make sure you get back to your dear leader, but not after we make an example out of you."

Travon deflesively pulled away even though Kit let him go and ended up falling over. in his defese however the shadow he had been holding on to shot at Kit to protect him

She ducked down out of the way of the shadow but not fast enough, she ended up with a cut on her arm and she flipped back out of the way as the shadow came down at her again. "Almost forgot about that." She said now out of the way of the protective thing. Her ears went back and she glanced back at Kurai. "Take care of that silly little thing please dear?"

From behind the lines Kelvin was next to Tala itching to get up there. He knew however being the only out of the 5 of them that was still on "thin ice" he didn't move an inch. However sparks began lighting around the lights and a power box nearby their group. There's always the tazer right?
Jerun was pacing the kitchen now regretting letting Travon go alone. "Damnit Toad! Shouldn't he have messaged yet?! Jesus!... Did we put tracers into the Brotherhood phoneslime we said we would?"

Mortimer sat in a crouch on the kitchen counter as he watched Jerun pace back and forth like a worried mother. He had to admit, he was a bit worried too. He had told Travon to check in when he got in the neighborhood but not a peep had been heard from the shadow wielding member of the team. "Would you stop that bloody pacing already?!" He snapped out as he hopped down and stood up straight. "Unfortunately I hadn't been able to put the tracer on his phone before he left. I'm sure he's fine." He was obviously lying to himself and to Jerun. Jerun didn't have a clue how truely sadistic and psychotic Kit actually was. That was something Toad had been able to control to a point while the girl had been in his care.
He opened his cell and dialed the number. It went straight to voice mail. He bit his bottom lip. "He's probably got it off because he doesn't want to jeopardize the mission with noise." Another lie. Who knows what kind of people that fox woman could have recruited and from the report by Magneto not all of Mystique's team had been eliminated. One was MIA. "Jerun, what do you know about someone named Kelvin? He was the one member of Mystique's team that hadn't been eliminated by Kit's team." He asked in all seriousness.

"i can send out some search dogs. i'll know instantly if they find him" akira sugested. she was getting a bad feeling about travon sistuation too. he was usually in and out and it had been a long time.

The name of his old teammate stopped Jerun in his tracks. "Sparky is MIA? More like the one who killed them most likely. I worked along him for years. He controls electricity and can't be physically touched unless he's been drained of electricity. Got in a fight with Mystique long while back over a girl. If Kit's got him, she's got Bayville and New York's power supply and electrical grids in her power," he shuddered at the thought. "This isn't good."

"No, Akira. No one is going after him. There's a high chance that she won't do anything fatal to him if she does find him." He then listened to and the color drained from his face leaving him looking a very pale green color. "That's not good at all. Magneto kept me out of the loop of the other team's members to be honest. I had no idea Mystique had someone that would pack that much power. Then again Magneto had no idea how much power Kit had especially after what Stryker did to her." He sighed and glanced at his cell phone as it started ringing. He winced and answered it.
"Yes, sir?" It was obvious that it was Magneto by the pained expressions crossing the amphibian mutant's face. "No, I already sent a team member out to where we suspect she is....no sir, just one.....sir....his powers make him perfect for a mission like this....no sir....I...but...yes sir." He hung up the phone and bit his bottom lip. "We're getting a new teammate. She'll be arriving tomorrow after-noon. She's also..." He sneered at the ground, "Taking my position as leader. I'll still be here but she'll be the one you answer to."

"why do they need to replace you!" akira said annoyed "you do a good job..." she planed to give this new leader hassle,she planed to be a pain in the a** and hoped the new leader would get fed uop and leave

Kurai smiled sadisticly. "Why thank you." She wrapped him in tons of little strings of light She increased their power til his clothes began smoking and they started singing the skin beheath.

Her eyes alight with mischief as she watched with morbid curiosity as Kurai started singing Travon. The lights around him dispelled the shadow and she grinned as she approached again. The metal of the blade for her knife turned red as she heated it up. The boy was stuck where he was and she lifted his left arm and stretched it out in front of him. Slowly she started etching kanji into his arm, the cuts didn't have time to bleed since the blade was so hot it cauterized them instantly. When she was done writing the kanji she wrote was very visible and read, if translated, This is only a small portion of what we'll do to you, Toad.. Kit smiled as the blade cooled off and she flipped it closed. Satisfied she turned around and started walking back to Kurai. "Let him run off to his master dear. Our message will be sent." Glancing back over her shoulder she grinned at Travon. "I suggest you run home to daddy and tell him all about the big bad bully that beat you up."
"Apparently I'm not taking good enough care to train you guys properly and our involvement with the X-men has caused worry. Whatever. Magneto said this woman will be here first thing in the bloody morning. Don't ask me who it is cause I aint got a bleedin' clue. Christ, I need a stiff drink."

"Do I have to?" Kurai asked, and then read the kanji. "Well, I suppose that's enough fun for one night." With a dismissive flick of her hand the bindings fell off, but did not go out. "You're lucky dip$hit. Now go."

travon managed to get to his feet and stumble out away from kit. once he was away he managed to get far enough he leaned on a tree. he looked at his arm, he knew enough japanese from akira to figure out what it said. "hope sam can heal it up.... if i make it back."he though. he kept moving best he could he was still bleeding pretty bad. he some how manged to make it to the brother hood hose and hit the door bell he was too weak to knock he slumped down to a seated possition he was so dizzy from the blood loss he wasn't sure how long he would stay awake.
