[Traverse Town :: First District] "Thank you!" The geomancer carefully took the feather from Enyb, in awe at the beautiful color. She would've hugged the bird, but she wasn't sure whether it would be very princess-ly of her so instead she inclined her head in a small bow. She smiled at the bird, gently tucking the minty feather inside her sash. Maybe she'd make it into a charm later when she had time.
"That's not nice!" Suzu scolded the boy, she found the chocobo to be very kind actually. Assuming that the bird was helping the bunny eared man. She stuck her tongue out at Mitsudo, placing her hands on her hips. "So, who are you?"

[Mitsudo] "Oh? You've got my nose? *riiiiiip* Well, I've got your arm." [Traverse Town::First District] "...I am here to guard you and your brother, Hime-sama. You can call me Shugotenshi [Guardian Angel]. I am here to make sure that you are not in any form of danger. And although this...creature seems nice, one cannot be too sure." He said in a rather monotone voice, continuing to brush the mint green bird. His hand stopped on one part of the large bird, and he pressed two fingers against one of the many feathers. "Allow me to pluck a feather from you, bird, and I shall trust that you are not a dangerous creature. Resist, and I shall roast you over a spit to feed the prince and princess."

[Traverse Town :: First District] Suzu stared at the little boy, wondering if he was joking or not. By the serious look on the boy's face, she came to the conclusion that he probably wasn't joking but she was baffled none the less. "Shugo... tenshi?" So did her father send him? He had to be good, since he was just a boy but... that was just that... HE WAS JUST A BOY! All too quickly though, her thoughts of him being a harmless boy were wiped clean when he threatened to roast the bird. She felt something bitter at the back of her mouth.
"Don't you dare!" Suzu shouted, her voice clear and defiant like the heiress she was supposed to be. Her eyes narrowed in determination as she raised her fist and gently knocked Mitsudo on the top of his head, careful because he was still just a little boy. "Don't you dare touch a single feather on that poor creature!"

[Mitsudo] "Oh? You've got my nose? *riiiiiip* Well, I've got your arm." [Traverse Town::First District] Clonk.Mitsudo blinked, actually surprised that the princess just clonked him on the head. "...Hime-sama, please. I am making sure that the creature will not harm you. He may seem gentle, yes, but for all we know, he could attempt to eat you. I do not believe there are creatures such as this on Eiengetsu." He turned to look at her, his dull grey eyes seeming to scan the princess multiple times. "Hime-sama. Please trust me in this endeavor." He groaned, letting out a long yawn. "Urgh, then we may rest..."

[ Enyb ]
{Kweh...[Oh my...]}
[Traverse Town: First District]
Enyb stopped preening himself, giving the human child a look that said he was definitely not pleased by the turn of the conversation. Not only did this child want to pluck a feather from him(and a good one, at that...he could at least take a damaged one), but he was also insulting Enyb! He was a proud chocobo, not some...some...pet to see if he was 'tame'! He wouldn't harm a hair on the helpful girl's head after she helped him!
But the chocobo stopped preening, and resisted the urge to n** those two fingers against him off as he mad low noises akin to that of grumbling. No reason to make matters worse, after all.

[Traverse Town :: First District] "Oh stop being so dramatic. He wouldn't hurt me." Suzu rolled her eyes at Mitsudo, this was the problem with bodyguards, they blew everything out of proportion. She looked to Enyb, clearly she could tell that he wasn't a content bird anyone. Suzu sighed and flicked Mitsudo's head gently, acting anything but princess-like. It was as if she were already family with the boy, despite not knowing his name. "Seee? You made him mad." The geomancer huffed, before apologizing to the bird. "Sorry about that."

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : First District] Soryuju listened to the conversation. The family crest? He wasn't one of the heirs, or they'd know, so that logically led to a royal guard of sorts. Back on his world, all those a part of the Royal Guard had the emblem of the leading family. He'd had one, too, but when he left on his mission, he instead decided to represent the whole of the planet- as such, the emblem was unnecessary. Still, this guard was rather... odd. Ignoring the fact that he was a child.
"Not to question your methods, but usually the guard is supposed to listen to those above him," Soryuju mused, looking down at the child while reaching over him and stroking the bird on the feathers just under his chin. "I suppose things are different on Eiengetsu?"

[ ϻ Ὶ Ӷ Ϩ Ʉ Ɗ Ѳ ] "Oh? You've got my nose? *riiiiiip* Well, I've got your arm." [Traverse Town::First District] Mitusdo flinched as he was flicked...again, and he couldn't help but grumble under his breath a bit. He hated being treated like a child, and he cursed the fact that he was trapped in a child's body. "I refuse to be told how to do my duty. I have no doubt done more in protecting the royal family than you have done in your world...Unless this is your world. Then I must say it looks rather poor and disgusting." He turned to the bird, grumbling something like, "I'm sorry, stupid bird." before looking towards one of the buildings. He quickly shifted his gaze towards the others and grumbled again. "Kami-sama...I really want to go home."

"Orielle, don't be so rude." Souz said before turning to the others. "Forgive her. At any rate, could you please let us know someplace to get food? I was caught in the poison, and am feeling rather weak. I'm hoping to restore my strength with some food and drink. Oh, and I'm sorry for not helping more during that fight...the poison worked too quickly." He said with a small chuckle.

[Traverse Town : First District] "I'm sure you have, youngling, I'm sure you have," he responded, lightly chuckling, his tone not sarcastic, but more along the lines of patronizing or amused. The child couldn't be older than 11, a preteen at best. And he has the ego to match. How entertaining. Soryuju always found children to be amusing things. "Well, Sir Shugotenshi, just keep in mind who it is that gives you orders, hmm?"
As the male that had come along with the spoiled girl spoke up, Soryuju looked up toward him, a curious look on his face. An uncle or relative? Who would take responsibility for her? Whoever it was, needed to give the girl a bit more discipline.
"The Diner is out, but there's a few food stores in the Second District around the Hotel," Soryuju responded, having visited the Town enough to know where pretty much everything was. "I think there might even be a new cafe open underneath the Hotel, near the Fountain. It was under construction on my last visit."

Oh, Mitsudo may not have emotions, but he does not take disrespect like that. "Listen to me, boy," he stated in a hushed tone, adding plenty of emphasis on 'boy', "I am most definitely older than you by quite a bit, and if you wish to test my patience against such insolent insults, I can guarentee I can make you go crying home to your mother after I have whipped your butt into order. Now if you question my judgement again, do so with extreme caution." He turned to Suzu and the others, still staring at them from under his mask. "Well, let's head on to the inn then. No need to stand outside on a battlefield if there's no battle to be had."

[Traverse Town : First District] Soryuju raised an eyebrow at the 'child's' outburst. He certainly didn't speak like a child, to be certain- quite the contrary, his vocabulary easily matched his own, if his assumptions were correct. Was he perhaps someone who was trapped in a young body? Or someone who simply aged slower? He knew that elves had at least double the life expectancy of humans back on Tsuvryen, but even so, they weren't like this by that age...
"Even so, Shugotenshi, if you'd be raised properly, you'd know that you must give respect to earn it," he responded, his voice no longer amused, but nor was it frustrated. Rather, it was simply a warning- not one of hostility, but just one of character. "Your heirs know this. So too should you, if you are indeed so experienced."

Respect is something that must be given to be received...Yet, there was no reason to give respect to this person if he only insulted him about how he conducted keeping the twins safe. "...We shall discuss this later. For now, let's move somewhere else. I would rather not wait around for more attackers or more of those damned shadow creatures show up to beat on us further. Now lead the way."

[Traverse Town :: First District] Suzu stared at disbelief as the two bickered. Well... as the boy bickered and as Sory retorted. She held her hand up to her forehead, massaging her temples as if plagued by a headache. How could father send such a hot headed boy? Surely there were other Shugotenshi in the palace... she didn't even need protection! She had Kuuma, so why would he send this boy out? They needed to make sure their world wasn't going to get obliterated. Didn't her parents trust them?
"So... what's your real name Shugotenshi-san? And was it my father who sent you?" Suzu asked, keeping her voice as calm as she possibly could and resisting the urge to thwack both Sory and the little boy. Gotta remember your etiquette lesson Suzu or else you'll never be like father.
