"At any rate," Xenon turned his head slightly, shifting his gaze to the tree canopy to the north. "There's going to be a storm soon, if reports are any indication."
Mikito raised an eyebrow and followed his gaze. "Yeah? I suppose I'll take your word for it, but-"
Xenon smiled "What I was saying, was that I was heading up to the mountain soon." he held up his right hand, chakra coursing through it slightly as small volts of electricity shot between his fingers. "I intend to get some heavy training done."
Mikito looked like he understood. "Ah...I get it. Hard core Elemental training huh?" he grinned. "I gotcha." he glanced at Mokutan. "You want me to look after the bird? I mean, storm winds like that-"
Xenon grinned. "Oh don't worry about Mokutan, I've already told him that I was heading up there. He's more than capable of looking after himself in my absence." he put his hands back in his pockets as he turned about. "Besides, I find he prefers Kimiko's company when I'm not available."
Mikito smirked "Like Master like Servant huh?"
Xenon gave a slight grin. "Perhaps. At any rate, I'll see you around Mikito-san."
Mikito took his weight off the tree, giving a nod. "Sure thing. I suppose I should be picking up a few small rank jobs anyway." he readjusted his ski cap. "After all, rent's due soon."
Xenon looked back, as though pleasantly reminded of something. "Oh that's right. You've been away from your family for a while now. Do you still hear from them?"
Mikito shook his head. "Not for a while now, thank the spirits. I suppose even they finally get when they're not wanted." he gave a content smirk. "My brother still giving you nasty looks? That brat can't still be thinking about revenge...I mean, kid was thick, don't get me wrong, but-"
Xenon merely turned again, his own smile widened across his face. "I couldn't say...but then, weak people like him tend to fall below my notice." he started walking again, heading out of the training grounds as Mikito seemed amused.
"Heh, yeah...I figured as much." Mikito turned himself, looking a bit more stern. "But if that kid wants to live to see tomorrow, I'm guessing that you not seeing him is to his advantage huh...heh."

Raine smashed to the ground in an elated run for the door. He slowed drastically and prepared for a welcome much like the one he had made earlier. Pushing through the door only to meet a dark, empty room. Lit by the faint outside light coming from the back door.
"Ah.." he let the bag of sandwiches fall to his side as he stepped into the familiar room.
"Not quite what I was thinking. We're do you think everyone is." Pi chimed in as his tiny face poked out from under his bandanna.
"Knowing them they are probably all off training. Dash is probably still asleep." Raine paced into the room clicking the lights on quickly and stepping over to the fridge, pulling water bottles from it and throwing them into his lunch bag.
"Well, yeah. But I mean where did they head off to."
The boy took a last look and then flicked the lights on his way back, letting the door fall closed by itself.
"Hmm... well we went through the rice fields and they weren't over there. Maybe the dojo, but they wouldn't be able to do much there with nin or gen. I bet they are in the outskirts, Hakumei, or kumo forest. Maybe on mt. Oto." He stopped looking down over what he could see of the village, and then looking up to mt. Oto as he spoke.
Pi pulled himself out more to look up at Raine, "Well, we're not going all over the village looking for them are we?"
Raine sunk his head and squinted, "Yeah, I don't really want to do that either." He thought of the training grounds at his back, he could stay here and train until they returned. But if they happened to be learning a jutsu or something they wouldn't be back for days. It wasn't a safe bet. "Agh, I guess we will." he hopped up with ease onto near by house roof that was low to the ground. Pi clutched his little claws around Raine's sand-cloak with an expression of sickness and unease. "I really was looking forward to going to see them."
"Let track them." Pi said once again pulling himself all the way from Raine's bandanna and holding onto his shoulder until Raine plopped him on the ground. He and Raine both circled the door looking for footprints. "I smell them. I think Xen was here last."
Raine crouched down onto the ground, "Hmm, we'll I haven't found many footprints. I think Kimi has a bit more forceful step." he pointed to he shoe marks dug deep into the ground. She was probably jumping away, the boy followed the direction of the print with his gaze and found himself staring out over the large expanse of rice fields. Across town and towards the outskirts. "Well, she's somewhere over there. I bet she could tell us where Xen is." He pulled pi off the ground who fell limp while he was lifted.
"Let's go then!" the Ajolote scowled with impatience.
