Naito looked at the kitten remaining then at Kai. "Do you think I need to get some more or do you think we should jut try convincing it to trustus?" He then looked back towards the kitten and kept trying to encourage it to come down. "Come here kitty. We only want to help you. I'll catch you a big bunch of fish." He paused for a sec. "I'll also catch some for you Kai if you want." He then focused back on the cat. "Here Kitty kitty kitty." Eventually Naito paused. "Or at the worst case I could climb up the tree and get him."

Ivan winced at the same time as Atreyu, noticing the wolf's ears twitch at Kai's 'ow.' His eyes flashed up to the kitten as it nearly slipped again, and quickly back down to the wolf. He nodded to Atreyu. "I'm not sure it'll make it back into the tree..." He whispered back.
Garaden scowled. "That's why." He said, agreeing with Rudolf. His head snapped up as the kitten yowled, also throwing a glance at Kai and Naito. If the kitten fell.. He turned back to face the wolf. "We'll tell you once more. Leave."

Kai looked up at the third kitten, his mind racing with ideas that they could use. He ignored the tiny kitten that had curled up comfortably on his head and then looked Naito again.
"Naito... I don't want you to get hurt but if you know for sure you can climb that tree, then let's do it. I'll try and get under it in case it falls... he won't even notice me." Kai nodded once at Naito and vanished into the shadows, moving out from around the tree and standing close enough to the area where the cat would fall if it did; safe a few feet from the wolf, Rudolf, and Garaden.
Atreyu glanced at Ivan and then back at the kitten in the tree.
"I don't think so either... Naito and Kai have got to get it before it falls. If it does...then I know for sure you and I will have to jump in to stop him from getting to that cat." Atreyu looked back to the wolf and watched his movements; looking carefully for any threatening movements towards Garaden and Rudolf.
"Knights? Stronger then me?" The wolf almost nearly fell over laughing at them. Shaking his head, he approached Rudolf and Garaden and growled at them, his fur bristling and the muscles in his legs becoming tense as he prepared to attack them. "Both of you are scrawny and I'm definitely sure the two of you alone can't handle me." He snapped
The third kitten had regained somewhat of its grip on the branch and it looked at Naito and Kai. At first it looked suspicious of the two males and then when it saw its siblings with them, content and safe, it grew a little more hopeful. It meowed at Naito and wiggled about in the air.

Rudolf growled and bristled at the wolf. How dare he insult the knights! He thought to himself. "Sure can we. Not scrawny think you as." He snarled. He saw that the wolf was getting ready to attack and was preparing to defend himself.

Naito nodded and smiled. "Don't worry about me. I've done stuff like this before." He then grabbed a hold of the tree as well as digging his claws into it. The purple moonlit made it all the way up to the tree. "Here kitty. I'm here to save you." He then tried to grab the kitten in his mouth as well as take it down the tree with the others.

Ivan took a half step forward as the wolf advanced. "Atreyu.." He quietly growled with urgency. His eyes widened as he spotted Naito climb the tree. How could the wolf miss that?! He gave Atreyu another look and stepped silently through the brush. He was behind the wolf, and didn't try to make his presence known, sneaking up, ready to stop the wolf from attacking if he had to.
Garaden scowled at the wolf. "If you refuse to leave, we'll show you why you should have taken the chance to run." He growled loudly.

The wolf returned Garaden's scowl and then looked at Rudolf. What was he doing anyways he thought to himself. Backing up from them slightly, he remained tense and tried to keep up his tough look. He snarled back at Rudolf and glanced at Garaden as he spoke.
" 'Why I should have taken the chance to run?' Ha! I actually like you kid." The wolf said to Garaden, chuckling through his growls. He then looked at Rudolf. "You too, you both make me laugh."
Hearing the sound of something climbing about and rustling what little leaves were on the tree that obviously didn't sound like some small kitten, the wolf reluctantly tore his gaze from Garaden and Rudolf and lifted his head to look up at Naito in the tree.
"You're either a pretty big cat or a very stupid wolf." The wolf snapped, bending down to jump up to snap at the kitten and Naito. "And I'm placing my bets on a very stupid wolf! No one is going to stop me anyways." He looked back at Rudolf and Garaden and bared his fangs at him; not noticing Ivan sneaking up behind him.
The kitten felt itself being picked up in Naito's mouth and it looked down at the wolf that now had its attention back on them. It meowed and tried to warn him.
Atreyu was surprised that Rudolf and Garaden were holding their ground as bravely as they were even when it looked like the wolf was going to attack them. And Rudolf even looked insulted at what the wolf was saying. He smirked slightly, proud.
Returning his thoughts to the mission, he shook his head. He wasn't about to let that monster struck out against his friends...his family. Growling, Atreyu slipped from the bushes and looked at Ivan and then back at the wolf as the wolf finally noticed Naito.
"He's going to try and knock Naito and the cat out of the tree!" Atreyu called out to his friend in a low, breathless voice as he began to sprint forward quickly and as quietly as he could manage; concentrating on the roots of the tree beneath the wolf's paws. It would take a minute or so before he would be able to use his ability; he just hoped he or Ivan managed to stop the wolf before he acted.
Kai watched the scene silently and stepped back when the wolf noticed Naito climbing the tree. Moving through the shadows and picking up the kitten that was on the ground nibbling on the fish in his mouth, he stepped beside Garaden and nudged his head against him to show him that the two cats were safe.
"We got the cats...and I have to say, I'm not feeling the whole kitten claw thing." Kai said against the kitten in his mouth to Rudolf and Garaden calmly, though he was watching the scene before him with excited eyes.

Rudolf crouched trying to decided if he should attack or use his ability. He nearly jumped when Kai appeared by Garaden. "What here you do?!" He said shocked that Kai would bring the kittens this close to the wolf, "Crazy you are?" He then turned his attention to the wolf and Naito. He moved so he was between the wolf and his jump to reach Naito. "Don't you no!" He said growling.

Naito looked at the wolf approaching him and jumped to the ground as quickly as he could and then gave the kitten to Kai. He then went around towards where the wolf was and got ready to fight it incase if he would by any chance make a move past the others. "Stupid huh? Well yes, I have been called that before and thank you. It shows that I am unique and don't submit to the decency of normality. Besides, I don't have anything important to loose since I have no family who would be upset about me. If you want to fight me go ahead...or will you just flash words of fanciness at me?" The purple moonlit knew he was crazy for saying something like that, but the whole issue of everyone of the knights having some loved one to come back to and say "I did great" was really bugging him since he had only given females familys and wasn't able to get his own. He noticed that Rudolf had jumped in his way to defend him. He didn't want to look weak so he went past Rudolf and decided to attack the wolf head on with his claws and his teeth.

Garaden grinned sarcasticly. "Wish I could say the same for you." His eyes widened when the wolf saw Naito in the tree. Garaden flinched in suprise as Kai came forward. "What are you doing out here?" He snapped. He quickly joined Rudolf's side, trying to stay close to Kai as well. "Well done Naito!" He called when the purple wolf touched ground with the kitten. He growled again at the wolf. "Stay back!" That's when Naito flew past him. "Crimony! Naito!" He yelped.
Ivan smiled slightly. Rudolf and Garaden were doing good... until the wolf spotted Naito with the kitten. He grumbled an obsenity and looked back as Atreyu leapt from the bush. To heck with quiet! He wanted that wolf stopped now. Ivan rushed at the wolf and used his siren howl ability. If he could distract the wolf for just a moment.. give the others a chance to get the cats away.. He closed the gap quickly, howled again and leapt at the wolf.

The moment Naito touched down on the ground, the wolf turned to look at him.
"So you guys came all this way to save a bunch of cats stuck up in a tree? I'll have you know you ruined my dinner but oh well... I'll just settle the score here and now." He turned suddenly to Rudolf and snapped at him, taking a few quick steps towards him to intimidate the pink male but paused when he heard Naito. He listened to Naito intently and then threw back his head and laughed.
"Blah, blah, blah. You talk to much. Less talk, more action. You say you have nothing to lose but, my foolish friend, you're about to die for a bunch of cats!" He met Naito halfway as the purple male charged forward, slamming against him and attempting to take hold of his muzzle in his mouth. When he was unsuccessful, he jumped back and crouched down preparing to lounge again at his throat. He was definitely willing to go down fighting at the moment and he looked from Naito to Rudolf, snapping and snarling at the two males. Deciding now was the time to act, he began torush forward towards Naito. First the purple idiot, then the pink one. Ha! Nothing will stop me no-
The wolf let out a yelp as he was knocked off balance by Ivan's siren howl attack. Groaning, he attempted to raise to his paws and lunged at Rudolf this time but was stopped again by Ivan's attack. His ears felt like they were on fire and he felt like he was going to exploded. Falling to the ground, he looked at Naito and Rudolf and began to crawl on his stomach towards them. He was tackled back to the ground when he felt Ivan leap atop him.
"Get off me!" The wolf snarled
Atreyu slid to a halt beside Kai, Garaden, and Rudolf. He was almost ready to summon the roots and vines to bind the wolf in place but there was something that had to be taken care of first. He glanced back over at Garaden and Kai, smirking at them.
"Please, protect those the kittens you two." Atreyu said to them. When he heard Garaden shout, Atreyu whirled back to the wolf and growled.
"Naito!" Atreyu was about to jump into the fight to protect the purple wolf but was stopped as the wolf was struck with Ivan's attack. The roots of the tree quickly snaked from the ground and grabbed a hold of the wolf's back paws.
"Ivan, be careful!" Atreyu shouted to his friend as the roots began to lift the wolf up into the air. Pleased with himself, he sat down and glared at the wolf that was dangling in the air.
"Now, you heartless creature... I think you owe those two, well," Atreyu paused and gestured to Garaden, Naito, Rudolf and the kittens. "Those three and those kittens over there an apology"
Grumbling from where he was in the air, the wolf mumbled an apology to Garaden, Naito, Rudolf and the kittens.
"Oh, that's better," Atreyu lowered the wolf back down onto the ground but still kept the roots around his paws as a long length of vines began to appear from beneath the snow. Atreyu smirked at all the knights and wagged his tail. "So, who wants to help me tie him up?"
Placing the third kitten on his back, he began to back away from view of the wolf and looked at Garaden.
"Why you guys are freaking out? I know you guys can take this wolf out! But I seriously don't think I can handle three kittens on my own" Kai said, trying to keep the two kittens that were crawling around on his back quiet and the one he was carrying in his mouth calm. He pointed out with his paw that Naito, Ivan, Atreyu and Rudolf were challenging the wolf. Even when it was just Atreyu and Ivan attacking the wolf, Kai had had faith that the two wouldn't have allowed the wolf to touch the kittens or the rest of the group. If it was one thing, Kai had faith in the wolves he surrounded himself with though, he'd never admit that aloud.
Nimue lay, fast asleep at the back porch door and dreamed of a beautiful room with glass doors. Inside, a butterfly was caged and a small black and rainbow form sat beside her. There were three other forms in the room. Two of them were pacing about. Somehow, she knew the butterfly and black rainbow form were tied to the knights and her eyes flew open as she returned to the waking world; her head aching and gasping for air.
"Oh no... I don't think they're going to like this news..."
((forgot to put Nimue XD and zomg XD I am so sorry that this is so long.... I started writing and just couldn't stop

Rudolf stepped back when the wolf snapped at him. He stared in amazement at Ivan's and Atreyu's attack. He knew he didn't need to help in the fight so he turned to help Kai with the kittens. He walked over to Kai and looked at the two kittens on his back. "Kitties down calm." He said grabbing one of the kittens. He placed it on his own back hoping it would amuse itself with his scarf or something. "Now better Kai?" He asked.

Naito looked at the wolf and glared at him since he didn't scratch him. "Well you're pretty stupid to not keep your guard up when there are other wolves that might attack you, plus I don't have a reason to exist." He then looked at Ateryu and Ivan ashamed that he wasn't any help again. He didn't say anything and went back a ways to sit down where the kittens were since he had been given the duty to get the kittens and he had jumped into battle foolishly without Atreyu's consent.

Ivan snarled back at the wolf, hopping off quickly as it was pulled into the air. He paced underneath and slightly behind it, tossing a quick look at the knights. The mission was a success. Nimue had been right. He sighed, sticking close to the wolf as it was lowered again. "If you know what's good for you, and your ears, you'll sit still." He growled at him.
Garaden cooed at the third kitten and plucked it off of Kai's back. He held it on the ground between his paws. "See? The bad wolf is under control." He licked the kittens head. He smiled and shook his head at Atreyu. "Aww, he said he liked me. I'd hate to put a dent in our relationship with a little thing like tying him up." He smirked at the wolf, then cringed at Naito's words. 'No reason to exist?' He shook his head. If he didn't think being with the knights was a reason... "Naito.." He said quietly, his eyes raising only to Naito's chest. He was worried that he might be about to push a boundery since he wasn't a knight yet, and was still new. "What about Halcyon? I saw her smile at you when she left.. She'd be upset if you didn't come back." He played absetmindedly with the kitten. "You're a friend to her. She'd be hurt."

The wolf turned his head slightly to look at Ivan and growled at him.
"Oh be quiet!" He said to him and rolled his eyes. He twisted his head to look at the vines beside him and barked. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me!"
Atreyu laughed at Garaden and then looked at the wolf.
"Well, I don't think tying him up will ruin your relationship. Anyways, he said he liked you and Rudolf. You two should tie him up....it'll only strengthen your great relationship with him" Laughing, Atreyu turned and moved away to stand beside Ivan. He gestured with his paw, staring at the pink and black males. They had held up against the wolf bravely while he was getting hostile with them; he had to reward them somehow and this had to do for now until they got back to the sitting room. "You can do the honors."
Atreyu's ears twitched as Naito's words finally sunk in. He glanced over at the purple male and stared at him while Garaden addressed him about Halcyon. He guessed it was the young female he had been with during the party. He looked at Ivan for a second and then back at Naito.
"He worries me..." Atreyu muttered his breath, making note to speak with him later to see if he needed help with any thing going on with him.
"Yes, thanks man." Kai said to Rudolf as the kitten now on Rudolf's back, climbed to perch itself atop Rudolf's pilot helmet and laid down, putting it's small paws over his eyes.
Kai laughed and shook his head as the other kitten on Kai's back meowed loudly at Rudolf when he told it to calm down. It was plucked off of Kai's back by Garaden and though it was about to meow it's protest, it felt safe between Garaden's paws. It began to purr and rubbed its head against the black male's leg.
With the wolf bound and tied, Kai set the kitten he was holding in his mouth down on the ground and sat down as well, keeping it occupied with his tail as he looked at Rudolf and Garaden. "Well, job well done!"
He raised his paw towards the two for a high five.
