*waves* Hello everyone. Thought I'd pop by and (re)introduce myself... I've actually been a member of this guild for quite a while, if a bit inactive (or sporadically active, anyway)... WickedOrange and Blaisixi are two IDs some of you may recognize. Blaisixi currently has some... errm... issues stressed , so you won't be seeing that account anytime soon, and Orange is... retired. This is my main account, now.
I don't know what else to say... as a quick refresher, perhaps I should mention that I am an adult (*duh*), mom of a couple young'uns, American, and have been known to have a fair sense of humor. Jelly can probably say a whole heap more if she's so inclined...
Anyway, that's the reintroduction. Good to see the guild is going well; seems there's lots of new folks running around!! heart I'll be around here n' there ...

you think we need to do something like that Eirwyn?
a sort of indoctrination process? for personal preference i think we'll use Yorkshire Tea though, piping hot and brewed in a pot 3nodding
and we shall have identification tests on all British biscuits
carrying of an umbrella will be obligatory at all times, as will calling the afore-mentioned object a brolly.
one hour a day of practicing complaining about the weather infront of a mirror shall be required.
you should drive on the left hand side of the road at every given opportunity, regardless of the country you are in.
and from now on you're only allowed to watch sports that your home country is embarrassingly bad at 3nodding

Thanks for the (re)welcome! It seems the (re)indoctrination is well underway already!! Just so you know, I can claim 1/4 English heritage, k??? I'm not that far removed from "mother england" *cough* *cough* ....
Now, to address some of the things mentioned:
. Tea: bring it on!!! I've drunk my fair share of tea and to the best of my knowledge am not related to any one who participated in the infamous "brewing" of the largest pot in history.
. biscuits: I've found they tend to work better as skipping stones across the pond than as a source of calories 3nodding (note i did not use the words "nutrition" or "food")
. weather & brolly: I grew up in New England. Ya think they named it that for a *reason*??? These two things kinda got inherited with the name...
. driving: ... is *that* why folks keep beeping and making all kinds of odd hand gestures at me when I drive??? rofl
. sports: you mean like.... like.... ummmm..... like..... oh well... I tried!!

Hello. I'm new to this Guild, completely and utterly. But any Guild with Nonsense in the title has to be good! biggrin
I'm a lazy no-good student from Scotland (but studying in Manchester) and I like writing and TV shows and anything that makes me laugh or scream (nothing makes me scream... ninja but I'm always hopeful...). I have a cat and a dog.
As for biscuits and driving... well I'll eat any biscuits you can dip in a mug of cocoa and though I'm very good at nearly getting run over on side streets I can't drive, on either side of the road. Cars frighten me. confused Weather however - well, let's just say Manchester isn't far off from Scotland in terms of constant, never-ending rain.
I just got into cricket. Which is probably why it's all gone so horribly, terribly wrong... whenever I watch England play at anything they lose spectacularly... And boy do we love it. It's bizarre.
Oh and I broke my brolly....
