Stephanie looked up at him, tilting her head up. But that was uncomfortable.
She groaned before grabbing a pillow from behind her and propping her head up.
Still not very comfy. So she moved a bit, onto her stomach and sighed.
Gah! She was so antsy this sucked!
She settled on sitting back up, her knees beant so that her legs curled behind her.
Ah well.
"Since I'm letting every other secret out, might as well right?" She shrugged.
"I mean, he's ... everythings already so messed up lets just add to it, shall we?"
Yeah, because this was not how the James and Stephanie's perfect weekened away thing was supposed to go.
"Last night, I told you I drank two margirita's right? Welllllll.. see. James was rambling on about something that didn't seem to interest me at the time and when I looked up, I called him Landon."
Stephanie shrugged, sighing heavily again. "And so to say the least, he wasn't very happy. We went back to the room after dinner and I was already freaking sick. Damn alcohol I swear. And I was throwing up and stuff, he just pretty much went to sleep."
Yeah, that had annoyed her endlessly.
"And so I was up for a good half an hour alone, then finally made my way to the bed." She shook her head, a laugh at nothing that was funny by any means, slipped through her lips.
Yeah, nobody could ever replace Landon in her life.
Much less her heart.
"Not that any of that matters. But ya know, why not?" Yeah..

Landon had seen the tears when they first started up again, but he just fidgeted to occupy himself. He... God. He just want to make it all better. He hated to see anyone cry like this, especially....
He bit his lips, looking a little off to the side as he listened to her spill out a lot more then he expected. But wow. Most of this really surprised him. Particularly the part where, where she called James Landon... But all of it.
He really had thought they were closer then that.
And then like, really? Really? He just went to bed while she was left throwing up in the bathroom all by herself?
Even if he was still mad at her that was lame!
Landon clenched the blankets under him as he tried to avoid eye contact, completely silent.
But it was when she she tried to say none of it mattered, that he failed at it, his sea green eyes catching on her watery blues.
No more beating himself up over his feelings when she was like this. He moved over, leaiving a little damp imprint in the blanket, and gently pulled Stephanie up into his arms. Friends could hold friends for comfort purposes, erm, right?
Landon brushed the tears from her eyes and cheeks and held her close, still, without a word. But what more need be said?
I'm sorry.
I'm here for you.
He doesn't deserve you.

Stephanie was crying so hard by the time she finished speaking that she couldn't say another word.
She laid there, trying to stop. She hated this. She didn't want Landon to know that she was vulnerable. Or that she was hurting this damned much.
He didn't need to worry about her. He had Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and Landon belonged with each other. If they didn't well, then they wouldn't be. Simple as that.
But Stephanie had ruined her chances, that she knew. And she wasn't fine with it by any means, but she'd have to be.
Or pretend to be.
Wait.
She had moved.
Now her tears were brushed gently away and Landon embraced her into his arms. She couldn't help but look up at his half blue, but more green right now, eyes and silently thank him.
He didn't have to do this, he really didn't. And yet he was comforting her more than James ever could with words, just by holding her.
She buried her head into his chest and sobbed softly. "I'm such an awful person," She muttered softly.
And really, she believed it at this point.
She was friends with Katy, despite her jealousy. And she had made out with her boyfriend nd basically tried to steal him back. And now... Now.. God dammit!
She just felt like plain s**t.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James was all into what he was doing, ha well, not quite yet, if you wanted to think about it that way. But he was really working for it, and immensely enjoying himself as he did so.
Ah, but then, just after he undid the button on her pants and was about to pull them down, she stopped him. He didn't even respond right away, and probably would have completely kept going without a pause, if she hadn't grabbed hold of his wrist.
He stopped with the taking of the pants off, put trailed little kisses back up to her lips, about to ask, say, something, plead maybe at this point. Although, maybe it wouldn't even be necessary, because despite also physically trying to stop him, she sure hadn't sounded like she meant it.
And the words didn't even need to leave his lips. Not with the way her hand was moving. And then, oh! up to her bikini, which was promptly undone and thrown somewhere. James really liked that. So, no more hesitation! Especially since she didn't seem to have any left.
Kaitlyn moved him down to her for some awesome tongue action, then them both up, which worked out perfectly as her pants moved down.
James was pressed up against her completely now, but he moved his legs up by putting his toes down, and lifted just that half of his body to where he could work on her pants more while his mouth moved down to her chest again.
Door.
James jumped, and then was completely on top of her again, head snapping toward the sound.
And standing there was the guy that hard brought them here.
And Katy didn't have a shirt or anything covering her top half... and he had nothing to cover her worth, except himself, which he was doing right now.
He was so damned hot and that b*****d interrupting them was not cool!!!
"Get the ******** out!" he yelled quite viciously, turning so he could see him, but with his body the other way, sort of trying to shield Kaitlyn, meaning he had to stop on top of her. ..And even when your hope is gone

Stephanie loved his touch. Gently, and slow. She leaned into him as his hand stroked her blonde hair.
"How can you even say that?" She tilted her head to look at him. But she had to blink a few times to see him. She shook her head. "I lied to you for six years. Broke your heart. I shouldn't even be doing this,"
She looked down, in the general direction of his chest/stomach before sighing.
"How am I not an awful person, Landon?" She sniffled, trying not to start crying again because she had only paused.
"I mean really..Look at me. I'm not the girl you loved six years ago.." She swallowed.

When Stephanie looked up at him, moving her head to do so, he looked down, but sighed when she asked him that.
He thought for a moment before answering, and all without stopping the gentle, methodical movement of his hand, or giving her any room to pull away.
"I know... and I'm still not happy about that. But I'm not going to hold it against you when you were six years younger, and scared, and maybe, rash, to do what you did. I still... Oh how I wish you hadn't, but... it was a mistake, a big mistake, but a mistake nonetheless, and one that is little surprise for a young, underage high school girl to make. And no matter what you say, it's not like you did it on your own and I am blameless." He bit his lip, hoping he worded all of that right. He wanted to be honest, not just tell her, oh it was nothing, forget about it, no big deal.
Landon moved his hand from the back of her head, to brush some stray strands out of her face, consequently stroking her cheek, and it felt so nice.
"You may not be exactly the same, but your still you. Didn't I say I love you, not, I love what you are right now?"
He smiled, and moved his hand back to her hair to continue.
"Does an awful person sacrifice everything for their child? Love them like I know you love Hayley? Or feel regret and remorse when they do something wrong?" he closed his eyes for a moment. "You know, I shouldn't be holding you like this right now either... but I am... And I'm not letting go.. not yet..." he moved his other hand back down and hugged her to him, knowing he shouldn't, knowing it would probably just be bad for both of them in the long run, but... Well, he wasn't perfect, and he was feeling selfish, and he wanted this, even something so simple as to hold her, now.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie held her breath for a moment, biting her lip to stop from crying. "It doesn't change what I did. No matter if I was sixteen, twenty or eighty two Landon. I lied about something really important for years. You were right earlier, I didn't just take her from you, I took away her father."
His fingers glided across her cheek, brushing her hair from her face. Her eyes closed, allowing one or two tears to fall. But her eyes slowly opened again as he spoke. "You don't even know how much I've changed Landon."
And what about Katy? He still loved her didn't he? She blinked slowly as his hand returned to her hair, running through it again.
She sighe. "I do love Hayley. But I'm not the best mother in the world." True, she did give up a lot for that little girl, but there was so mmuch more she wanted to give her.
"But.." He interrupted her, his eyes closing. But Stephanie's ran over his face still.
Then he hugged her to him again. Holding her tighter, as if he really wouldn't let go.
"When this games over..what happens?" She muttered against his chest.
She didn't ever want him to let go.

Landon just held her for awhile. He could have come up with plenty of things to counteract what she said, could have tried to comfort her that way... but he was kind stuck on something that had been in the back of his head, teasing him with it's presence, for awhile now. Like a form of deja vu.
"Doesn't this all seem so familiar?" he murmured suddenly, but his tone was still soft, and thoughtful.
"Like... like back at the pool, everything that happened. It... reminded me of when we would fight," which wasn't that often, but happened like with all long term relationships, "And then we would always end up in each others arms..." , or more intimate then that sometimes, but it was true, he couldn't remember a time even one would ever leave still angry.
"Or sometimes, life just sucked, and you just needed someone to hold you, or I just needed someone to hold."
He sighed.
"I miss that."
True, he had Katy, but... things just weren't the same. It didn't mean she didn't help, or that he didn't want to comfort her, or that it didn't feel right, but it just... wasn't the same. And the problem was, sometimes he wanted it to be.
Again, he knew he shouldn't, if he was sticking by his earlier resolve to be a good little boy for Katy, but he kissed her hair again, letting his head rest on hers again after.
"After this... I don't know... I really don't... but right now, I know what I want, and I want to keep holding you." He whispered that time.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

There was no holding it back. A smile rested on her face, but a few more tears slid down her cheeks.
She nodded, biting her bottom lip softly. "We never did leave each other angy..Or hurt."
Yeah, until the end.
"We were good, right?" She sniffled. "God, you don't even know how much I miss that."
Yeah, she had James. But he wasn't exactly the type to lay in your bed with you all night, just holding you as you cried your eyes out over something completely silly.
All she had wanted when she found out she was pregnant was for Landon to hold onto her, just as he was now, and not ever let her go.
But now, here and now, his lips brushed against her head before they just sat in silence. Then he answered her.
Or tried to.
"Then lets just live in the here and now." Stephanie buried her head back against his chest and snuggled against him. "Just don't let go, okay?" She whispered softly, her lips brushing against his chest.

Huh. James was literally on top of her, but wasn't doing anything. Did the person not leave? Obviously not, if he yelled at him. She tilted her head to see if she could see who it was exactly, but nothing. James was in the way. But she heard what the man said, and didn't like it. Saying he would be back in an hour or so. Meaning James and her would have time, but Kaitlyn didn't like being timed.
She heard the door again, her lips coming up and biting on his neck. He covered her body when someone came in. Kaitlyn thought that was very sweet of him. Plus the feeling of his body pressed against her own, even with the interruption her body was still on fire.
Her lips soon traveled up to his ear, "James...." she whispered softly, before grazing his earlobe. Her hand that was on his back, slid down till she reached his swim trunks, slipping slowly underneath them at his side. Man, his body had aged since high school, in the best way possible.
Her right foot pressed against the bottom of her pants, allowing her left leg to free itself, with that done her leg pressed against the inside of his leg before being able to wrap around his side. Pulling his hip down against hers, causing a small groan to come out of her lips.

James glared until the dude left, closing the door behind him, and was immediately relieved when Kaitlyn didn't want it to stop after the interruption. Ya know... some girls called being walked in on a mood killer, and this was a particularly delicate situation...
Thank god!
Her lips came back up his neck where she bit him, making James gasp a little, eyes closing again.
He rested his body more comfortably on her again, content to let her have her way with his neck as she seemed to be enjoying. Meanwhile, he also moved his hands back to her hips, pushing the pants down even more.
Her mouth worked up even more by his ear, where she whispered his name. How long had he heard that voice say his name like that? Too long. Far too long.
"Mmm Kaaaaty" he breathed out, turning his head to kiss her cheek and jaw.
As her hands slid under the material of his swim trunks, James pulled his body up more, which did to both press him harder against her, and also make them slip down some. He groaned from the feeling it brought, not too mention all the pent up pressure it cause.
That was it. He couldn't take it anymore.
James kissed her just one more time, before sitting up, still straddling her, but moved up onto his knees, pulling her pants all the way down and the rest of the way off, tossing them aside. He untied the sides of her bottoms and disposed of them as well, a hop and he got his trunks down to his knees, and swiftly kicked off.
They were both naked then, and James was anxious, he wanted her, needed her.
He spread her legs apart and promptly moved in, literally, as his body covered hers again, groaning upon impact. ..And even when your hope is gone

Her eyes opened feeling him leave her. What? No! She didn't want him to walk out, she was so freaking hot and turned on it wasn't even funny anymore. But then she felt her pants go all the way off, and her swim bottoms. Thank god! Her heart was pounding, and her breathing was already rugged just thinking about it. Then his trunks were off, oh god, he was bigger then the last time he saw her. Then again, high school till now is a big difference to grow, just like she had with her breasts, not that size was everything.
His hands burned against her things as he moved her legs, she took that time to hold the towel against her arm and move her arm to lay by her head, cause that's where she liked to have it during sex, the pleasure of it and all. Then he came down on her, his groan and her groan got mixed.
Sure this was wrong, and was cheating. But she was emotional and unsure about Landon's connection with her, cause he admitted love to another girl. As well as James came down to kiss her, and this had been a secret dream she has had forever. Always wondering what she did wrong, why wasn't she good enough to keep him. She always dreamed of their wedding one day, and he cut that dream down with a few simple words
Everything that was bottled up came out, she had been keeping this to herself for far too long. She needed this more then she realized. She moved her body with his, causing her to groan a little louder. "Jaaammmessss...." She purred his name. Her muscles constantly tightened and relaxed, as electrics sparks travel underneath her skin at every slightest movement from the both of them. She wanted James far more then she should, and she wanted it right now. She was feeling so much, that her good hand traveled over her own body, resting at her chest for a moment in pleasure before jumping to his own body.

Landon couldn't help but smile back when one rested on her face, even if a few more tears did escape. He brushed them aside with a soft stroke of the back of his hand.
He nodded, "We were great."
He was very grateful for this moment. One he had wanted, craved, for so long. To just be with her again, even if they weren't together like that right now.... but... It felt the same, he could almost pretend they were for a moment, before he'd chide himself for it.
But he liked her idea a lot. Maybe too much. For it put so many ideas of "live in the here and now" through his head, especially if that didn't count thinking about the consequences of later.
For now however, Landon was content with this. Mostly. Right now, yes.
"I don't plan to" he found himself saying, and wondering right after just how he meant that.
And he thought about it... and them... could he really let her go? Now? After this, and, knowing that he coud have her?
He wasn't so sure he could.

Stephanie closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around him. She just wanted to stay close to him, like this.
They didn't have to talk. They didn't have to make out, or do anything. Just him holding her was enough. Always had been too.
She had so much more to say, but none of it mattered. If they were going to live in the here and now and not give two shits about later, she wasn't going to ruin it.
She didn't know how long 'the here and now' would last. She didn't know how long it'd be before he left her and went back to Katy.
Sure, he knew about Hayley now. So, she'd still have to see him. And as much as she trusted him, it wasn't like she could just drop off Hayley, leave and get her later.
She was going to have to be around. So, that Hayley could get comfortable first.
