*Kyla's adorable new bunny friend is sucked into the void* eek scream Noooooo!
*She watches the spinning ghosts, and decides to follow Reishi's instructions. She begins firing golden energy shots out of her left hand, slamming them into inky, trying to force the ghost to reverse its direction. Kyla grits her teeth and puts as much power as she can into the volleys of golden energy*

Don't forget about Reishi! I need help stopping these ghosts, but someone still has to take him down!

Corbenik finished sucking a final shadow tendril into his mouth with a slurp and looked up in time to see Reishi enter his new form. He furrowed a brow in somewhat labored looking thought then turned to Kokujo. "Hey, up until now, I had no idea that ugliness could be considered a power".

Kokujo was however, distracted with far more important things. Once he started feeling the pull of the twin vortexes it didn't take him long to figure out what Reishi had planned. Ever cool and collected though, he simply turned and made his way to the opposite end of the platform, turning to face Reishi across it's length.

"I'll admit, you hide greater power within you than I had ever imagined, but..." Kokujo extended his arms out to the sides, one towards each vortex "You made a miscalculation, if you thought to defeat me using darkness" He said.

He steeled himself, a look of intense concentration coming over him as he reached out with his shadow powers, attempting to rest control of the two vortexes with the force of his own command over the dark elements. Such a battle for control would likely take time and intense effort, particularly with Reishi powering up again, but at very least the vortexes would be slowed, preventing them from reaching full potency while Kokujo was still exercising his will over them.

Though Kokujo would be unable to do much else while fighting for control of the vortexes, this would hopefully the rest of the LH crew a chance to tip the fight in their favour. Beneath his slanted headband, the red glow of Kokujo's cursed eye could faintly be made out.

*Kold finally recovers from both his hidden technique and the gravity wells, and is surprised to hear Brimmstone's thoughts. 'So I guess it's selective with that Clear Haki of yours. I can only read your if you want me to. Terrific...'*

*Kold shoots a Glacial Cannon at the pink ghost, and freezes it. If anyone else wants to kill the other ghosts, the pink revival ghost can't act for now*

"Slip Dash." *Kold forms ice on the bottom of his feet and slide dashes to Reishi's left side, while also performing a drawing slash. He adds ice to the blade mid-drawing for extra range. If it works, it should cut off Reishi's head and end this battle.*

((OOC: If you guys want to have Kokujo, Raiden, and Kyla do more to finish the fight...I'm perfectly fine with that. I just had to epic post. Let me know and I can edit accordingly.))

*Reishi is unable to counter, and is run through by Brimmstone. Yep. Reishi got his torso chopped off. Brimmstone is doing it right.*



*unfortunately for Kold, Reishi blocks his sword with his War Scythe, then knocks Kold away with great strength.*

"Damn. You guys were so close. Even I didn't know the Mask Ghost gave my body this much extra stamina. I'm sorry."

*Reishi waits for his body to make the next move, but realizes that it never comes. With the wound gone, the control over Reishi is removed as well.*

"You did it! I'm free! Don't worry, this next technique is my own free will. No harm will come to you from this."


"Limit Brink: Oversoul"

*hundreds of sheet ghosts appear of all kinds, and they all flood into Reishi. There is a flash of light, and Reishi's appearance is drastically different.*



*all of Reishi's wounds are completely healed, and his body is pure white. He also seems to be a physical manifestation of Reishi's spirit in his prime, but even stronger.*

"I'm so glad that I wasn't forced to use this against you. Oversoul essentially me being able to use any combination of the Ghost Sheets' powers at will...but only when I'm on the brink. Now with all this power, let me help.

*Reishi waves his hand and several Mini Sheet Ghosts appear above each person, they swing left and right and release healing energy. (think how the Cure spell works in Kingdom Hearts). several Big Sheet Ghosts appear around the platform, and layer over each other. A multi-layered barrier.

"Oversoul: Spectral Corridor."

*an etherial path forms around them, and the platform begins to move skyward.*



"This will take you directly to Yokoshima's tower. It's going to take a while, so you may as well make yourselves comfortable. Let me explain."

*Reishi forms a spectral screen. On it, a poorly drawn map appears. It looks like someone drew it on MS Paint.*



"You see, the way it's designed is: once someone reaches the top of the tower, they face a challenge on the roof. If they try to skip the challenge, they pass through a portal which sends them back to the starting point of that tower. So if you had tried to escape past me during the fight, you would have been warped to the drawbridge. Observe."

*Reishi grabs a piece of rubble and surrounds it with etherial light, then throws it behind him. It vanishes. He points below to the drawbridge where it can be seen shining, very far away. Yet right in front of them is the same rubble, shining brightly.*

"It sounds conviluted, but this place was designed to test the character of a potential Heavenly High King. What you saw past this platform was actually just the other side of the portal. Anyway, there's more."



"The Twilight Temple is actually 5 towers total. We're currently in the east tower. It's randomized every time. It just so happens that this time the east one was on the ground. From a bird's-eye view, they're all in the order you see here...however..." *he points to the right to a floating tower high in the sky, very similar in appearance to the East Tower...but without a platform near the roof.* "That's the South Tower, complete with its own set of challenges. Normally you guys would have had to pass through all 4 complete towers in randomized order, boarded the platform, and have it take you to each new tower in the sky...progressively getting higher and closer to the Central Tower."



"While I'm in Oversoul form, I'm forcing this platform to skip the other three."




*Reishi leaves all 5 images up on 5 different screens, to help with the explanation.*

"Anyway, I'm really sorry for all the trouble. Hopefully me taking you to the Central Tower will give you an advantage in your quest."

*Reishi's quick reaction and knocking him back comes as a surprise to Kold, but flips and lands. He slams Sohi into the ground to stop his momentum. He may have slid off the platform otherwise. He smirks when he sees Reishi's chest cut off.*

"Nice one. Be paralyzed already!"

*He looks up and sees Reishi transform. He's worried at first, but then is extremely relieved to learn how Reishi's back in full control.

The healing Mini Ghosts treat his wounds, and Kold can feel his strength returning to him. Now that he can focus on other things besides staying alive, Kold lets himself relax and sits down while Reishi explains the situation. The thought of having to go through 3 other equally challenging towers makes him tired just thinking about it.*

"What a tedious place. I'm glad the other temples weren't like this. Thank you Reishi."

*Kold sheathes his sword and turns to his red-headed 'brother'. He can finally discuss what happened in the previous room* "Brimmstone. I saw it. I saw your memories of what happened to your homeland....what I did. I have to ask you...how can you stand the sight of me? Doesn't it tear you up inside knowing that I live?"

*Kold stands up, apparently fully healed from the Mini Ghost. Though that seems to be the last thing on his mind.*

"How can you possibly be so casual about this...?! Even if I was used, I still killed everyone you knew back then. That's beyond forgiveness."

"Then tell me why! Why did you keep me alive?!"

*You'd never think Kold fought for his life a few minutes ago.*

*Kold is speechless. Brimmstone has always been an abrasive and uncompromising jerk who seemed to care only about power. This seems so unlike him. Could this be the true Brimmstone? Did he ever truly know him in the first place? He tries to find the words*

"I'm so unworthy. Even if I was suffering, even if I do have this horrible regret, I don't think that's reason enough to warrant a second chance. Even if I was being used, I don't know why you haven't killed me yet. You're here. You made it to Yokoshima's stronghold. Isn't that enough?"
