Basically, all of my science teachers from grade school to high school were terrible. I was good at it, could understand the curriculum just fine, but I just found it really really boring. Just couldn't see the entertainment or intrigue in it.

well, that's too bad. while I can't say I'm much of a scientist either, I still find the practice of science to highly intriguing and full of awesomesauce. whee
seriously though, school can go crash and burn. stare I actually stopped coming to my anatomy class in highschool on the grounds that the russian foreign exchange student was playing marrionette with the pig fetus and the rest of the class (teacher included) were laughing their asses off.
I can disect a fetus if I have to, but damnit, at least have respect for the dead creature!! gonk

I'm not sure if you mean you disagree with that you thought I said I was Pro Life or if you disagree on the point that that I don't support Pro-Life. ....What I mean is I'm Pro-Choice.

I oppose the republican base agenda. shutting down Planned Parenthood and banning Birth Control and forms of contraceptives is merely a way to take away women's control over their own sexuality (and undoes all this progress in preventing STDs and unwanted pregnancies). so I wouldn't lump myself in with the Pro-Lifers.... but I still deem myself pretty strict on that matter.
