"It really didn't hurt... but thank you." he said looking at the cloth peculiarly as the slight pain left. "Does it hurt when the shadow talks?" He asked hoping he wasn't being too nosy with his questions. He finished cooking his meal and went over and sat at the table and began to eat.

"Oh... So there are two mongrel halflings... in the same place.... How Peculiar" Rin thought to herself. "And if I didn't know for sure the smell of his blood is a surefire clue that, he is Sora... Daddy will be pleased.... but what to do about the other halfling... that shadow he has shows some potential father might want to see him too.... or crush them both who knows I would crush them if I was given the order to.... stupid lowly mongrels." she thought to herself watching the boys eat, using a spell. "i suppose I should make an appearance soon... but I am fairly sure they aren't going to make it easy.... what a bother..." She giggled

((Yay, another person. ^^ ))
Finally satisfied with the meat, Kirak brought his food over and sat to eat "A bit, must be why I was weak before.." a small chill went down his spine and he glanced around the room, then ate some of his food figuring he just wasn't used to being in such open spaces.

"I know this probably sounds like a stupid question... but did you have any choice in getting the shadow, or becoming part demon?" He asked curiously as he ate. "I assume you didn't but... why/ how did they pick you? were you informed beforehand or just abducted and woke up later?"

The air in the kitchen changed considerably, as a gust picked up from out of nowwhere blowing around cooking utensils and loose objects around the room as Rin appeared in the kitchen before them with a pink flash, flower petals raining down as she appeared. (She is very vain and likes to enter with a bang) "Hey... You're coming with me." She said pointing a fan at Sora. "I don't really care what you do." She said pointing her other fan at Kirak. "But My sweet little baby brother is coming with me... daddy wants to meet with you." She said in a very bizzare tone, her high voice spitting out words like nails on a chalkboard. "Oh that's right you have no Idea what I am talking about you poor little naive mongrel you... Let me introduce myself." She said making a grand curtsey, "I am Rin, full demon daughter of the demon lord himself... sent to find my.... dear.... old brother... which is you if you haven't guessed, so I am afraid this little party is over... I hate to bring you from your halfling lover, friend, brother thing... or whatever you call him but it is time to go." She said snottishly

"What the hell!" He said as his food was blown away from the table "How did you get in without the security systems going off!?" He said getting out of his chair and into a defensive pose.

Kirak narrowed his eyes at the intruder and took a defensive stance as well "What demon lord? The La Vaes rules the demons..." a black mist gathered around him, then formed into a sword. He watched the demon and readied his new sword. "..you're not taking Sora.."

"Incorrect sweety... The La Vaes controls the dragons, and Demons that reside here, however daddy controls the true demons, of the demon realm." She said Snapping her fingers as a portal opened. "Now c'mon little brother." She said looking over at Kirak. "You think you are going to stop me." She giggled obnoxiously. "Don't be stupid" She said taking a couple steps towards sora drawing a fan

"This is your last warning.. stay back." Sora said putting up a weak forcefield to gauge her power by how easy it is for her to break through it. "Again, How did you get in here without the security systems going off?" He asked pretending like it was difficult to hold the forcefield, to give her a false sense of his weakness.

Shadows flowed from Kirak's pendent, covering him in a black mist...if one looked close enough it almost seemed like there were eyes in the shadow, watching the girl closely.

She rose one of her hands and opened it and yawned, dropping her hand, and a gust of wind broke the barrier instantly and blasted sora back against the wall. "Don't doubt me." She said looking over at kirak. "Oh.. trying to protect him, what a cute gesture." She said making a kissy face, and then laughing obnoxiously "Hey little emo boy... go cry in a corner or something, you have no part in this, it is a family affair." She said pretending to cry as she rose her fans and got into an actual fighting pose, rather than just showing off. "Oh and to answer your question, the alarms didn't go off, because I have been in here just as long as you have, they didn't go off, because I didn't break in."

Sora hit the wall hard and landed on the ground with pieces of wood from the table littering the ground around him, He stood up and took a defensive pose again a little shaken by how easily she broke through him. He made that force field so she could brake through it, to gauge her strength, but he wasn't expecting something that strong he took a defensive stance again before looking over at kirak and then up at her. "This is your first and only warning, don't come any closer that last force field hardly held any of my power..."

Rin shrugged and Rose her fan again, only this time turning toward Kirak. "I know what my brother is made of... but what about you?" She asked curiously looking at the shadows eyes. "you have some tricks, but not anything I can't handle, I bet I could even take you and my brother at the same time!" She said laughing while she targeted Kirak ".... well mr rabbit, come out to play." She said dropping her fan launching a sudden blast of wind at Kirak to see what he could do

The shadow protected Kirak from most of the wind, also hiding him in a veil of black mist. Kirak sprinted forth under the cover of the mist and swung his blade in an upward arch when he got by Rin, but as he did so the false mist also turned into long tendrils that whipped at the girl.

Rin closed up one of her fans and blocked the sword with the utmost grace, not noticing the whirlwind of tendrils that came at her, knocking her back and whipping her feet out from under her as they attacked seemingly having a mind of their own as the... basically beating the s**t out of her. "ENOUGH!" She said rolling back onto her hands and jumping up spinning wildly in the air, her control over the wind creating a hurricane in the room, trying to knock him back.
