Arishoto kajah tilo loshecka iro go feh... Drajmahsta eptome an brehsha...«§hento»
He watched from a distance. This just couldn't be... one of his companions had died again. Wasn't once enough? Was she brought back just to suffer again and leave this world? Such a fate was too cruel to stand, yet nothing could be done. He wasn't as close to Teifi as some of the others, but she was his teacher, and she meant something to him. It was only because of her that he could speak what he could of the modern tongue. He lowered his head in grief.
But his head was lifted right back up as his raven companion screeched out, as his crest began to flare. "Castello!" Shento ran over and grabbed him on the arm. It was reasonable to be upset, it didn't even phase him, when he shoved Evelyn, but losing control like this... it was dangerous. "CALM, CASTELLO!"

A morph stood in the kitchen, staring at the doorway. Mika... Mika... Mika...?
Where...?
There...! By the door...
Walking my way....? My way... Madriana's way. Here she comes. Here comes Mika. Here she is. Hello... Mistress... Sister... Here she comes.. Has she seen me? No... Back into the kitchen! In the kitchen...
The morph backed into the kitchen... No no no. No no no no...

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello took a long, deep breath as Shento grabbed his arm, and exhaled slowly. The glow around the Crest faded again and he nodded, then took Shento's hand and pulled himself up. "Thanks, Shento," he murmured, reaching up to wipe his eyes, and he watched as Mika walked... toward the basement. And he was compelled to follow... damnit! No!
He took a few steps forward before his eyes shot wide, and he froze. Dark, damp, silent... wings, clamped tight, fingers raw from scratching and shoving, clawing, hoarse from begging and crying...
He snapped. "N-no! No... I'm... I'll find my own damn way," he hissed. He couldn't. Not where it led. He knew where that door led. Down those stairs, and back into his cage... he had snapped at her, and she... she would lock him up again. Well, too bad. He'd go ahead, and he'd kill her, oh yes... when she wasn't expecting it, he would be there, and that little witch would die in his talons...
There was a flash of red and Castello shot into the sky in full Raven form, already making his way toward the mountain that called him.

So it was time. Their final battle was going to start. This would not be the same as the last time... they would stay together. The others were losing it, though. Because Teifi was dead? She had been a kind and gentle person, yes. But they had gotten too close to her, and they'd been ripped apart by her loss. Misura knew that pain; she had felt it once before, though it had been burned away in the flames of her forge, and the construction of the blade she now wielded to take her revenge on the magic that had taken away everything she had ever loved. She had made sure she would never be hurt like that again. And she was not. She could handle this, as long as Jyoti was here with her.
The general looked at her beloved for a moment longer, a soft smile touching her lips, then tilted the girl's chin up from her shoulder. "We will go. But this time, we will go together. I will not leave your side." She paused for a moment. "... The worst may happen. I cannot say for sure that it will not. But this time... at least we will still be together, wherever we will end up..." She moved forward and placed a gentle kiss on Jyoti's lips. "Even if we die, we will still be together." It hurt to say this... but it had to be said. She would not be turned to stone again. Not by that demon. "Give me a moment to get my armor, Jyoti, and we will go..."

•I bear the seed of ruin… •A golden age turned to stone… вєαѕтмιѕтяєѕѕ єѴєℓYη Sometimes I wonder why they need me at all! … For this, a tragic journey• … A vision of a dying embrace• Castello’s words were like needles to her heart; needles laced with the poison of reality. They stabbed at her weak points; the lies she had created within her heart suddenly becoming exposed to her mind. Even so, Evelyn didn’t want to accept it. The truth was so painful, so horrible. It tore into her like bloodied fangs and the further she tried to hide from it the worse it became. She flinched when Castello suddenly jerked her away from Teifi’s body and off of Triumph. She squirmed, not wanting to be parted from her mother.
It didn’t matter if she would no longer respond to the girl’s cries; she wanted to remain with her. She would love her; she would love even the woman’s corpse. What did it matter if Teifi’s body no longer radiated warm? Her heart would. Evelyn would always remember the red head’s kind soul, and her warm heart. They would forever live on as memories that Evelyn would never part with.
“No… no… I… she… we… no… mom…” Her thoughts were broken like her voice and her mind disheveled like her appearance. The truth didn’t elude her, acceptance did. Why did she have to accept mom was dead? She had power. Couldn’t she and Domi fix mom somehow? She might not look the same, but mom was mom.
Her thoughts were throw aside as pain erupted in her body and her scream pierced the air. Evelyn coughed as a small amount of blood trickled from her mouth. The action had been so sudden and Castello’s power so great. Her vision flickered; icky blackness dancing in front of her eyes for a moment. The exhaustion was so over powering. Her body screamed in pain, her muscles ached, her throat was parched, her stomach begged for food, and her eyes drooped wishing for sleep. She was too tired to get up anymore, but she wanted to touch Teifi’s body; she didn’t want to let her go ever again.
Attempts to get up were made, but they were only met with failure. The best she could do was to pull her body along the ground enough to bring her back to Triumph’s side. She coughed again as she lifted her arm and pressed her hand against Triumph’s side. Her strength still wasn’t enough to lift her, causing her hand to scrap pathetically against the Gwyllgi’s rough skin. Her finger tips bled as her arm fell limply to the ground once more. “Tri..umph… g-g…ive… me… Teifi… I…”
A groan escaped her throat as Triumph’s tail curled around Evelyn and placed him on his back once more next to Teifi’s cold body. Her hair fell passed her face and she fell forward against the creature’s fur as her tired eyes closed shut. Triumph’s fur was so soft and it compelled her to sleep despite Evelyn not wanting to give in. “So tired…” she mumbled into his fur softly, yet loud enough for the others to hear.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti nodded slowly. She was a bit nervous about the upcoming battle, yes, but at the same time... At the same time, she knew that it'd all be okay. Misura was correct; nothing would separate them. She wouldn't let anything separate them. No... they would never be apart again. The first time was already hard enough. "Misura..."
The valkyrie nodded again, letting go of Misura and using the back of her hand to wipe away the tears that were beginning to flow again. "Alright..." A small smile came to her face and returned the kiss quickly and softly. "... I won't leave you."¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

"First I cut off their heads, then I pull out their bones..." ll – K Y Ř O Ş – ll + Şαvαgє βєαsτ +"With a cleaver I hack them in two..." Ψ I pull out what's inside... And I serve it up fried! Ψ His blood boiled at everyone else's desire to avenge Teifi, his grin going wider as things began to culminate in what was likely to be a blissful bloodbath, one they'd likely emerge victorious from. His gory, visceral mindscape was dispersed with another volley of shouts from Castello, and sobs from Evelyn.
The Warrior might be in a fervor, but that doesn't mean he could shirk his parental duties over revenge. So, he lightly cradled Evelyn in his arms, and placed her cautiously in a nearby chair. As soon as she appeared stably set up, he went to the kitchen, returning with a plate of eggs, the breakfast he'd whipped up only a few hours ago. When the plate clattered upon the table, Kyros crossed the room once more, taking a pan that he'd sat near the kitchen and giving it to Triumph as he bent down and petted the Gwyllgi's three heads.
"Triumph, keep an eye on Evie for daddy, okay? We're gonna go take care of some bad guys again, and Evie needs to keep her strength up." He situated the pan under the beast's heads, a few eggs in there as well as the leftover curry from that one woman. "There's some food for you, so don't eat hers, alright boy?"
As he returned to his feet, he walked back to Evelyn, ruffling her hair as he tried to comfort her. "We're gonna get back at those piles of waste for killing Teifi, okay kiddo? We'll be back soon, Evie, but be careful, please."
With the girl hopefully set up in better shape, Kyros glared at the remaining heroes, grin back on his face. "Guys, I don't want to lose any of you, either, so be careful out there, got it?" Ψ______________________________________________Ψ Now I stuff you with bread...
It don't hurt, 'cause you're dead!
And you're certainly lucky you are...

Mika stood down in front of the door and waited for everybody to catch up...
Now she'd finally have her revenge. Soon... They'd be waiting to slaughter the people of Eyris outside of her dear Loki's shrine... She waited, a bit impatiently for everyone to follow her. Except Castello, apparently... Whom had been stubborn and went off on his own...

Down the hallway.. Down the hallway... To Mika again! To Mika this time! Now she will see me. Now she will see me. Where is Mika going? So shall Madriana go...
The morph moved down into the basement and looked at Mika. "Mistress... Sister... Mika... I wish to go with you." She said. She was perfectly intelligible and clear.

Mika turned, stunned, towards the morph. She spoke! Quite well, mind you!
"Madriana?! ...No... So you work now? What did I do to you the other night? And where did you run off to?!" She said in a scolding manner. When the morph did not respond she sighed.
"Ok.. Whatever... You can come with me... Just don't get yourself destroyed... It would be too much wasted work..." She said, turning back towards the door.

•I bear the seed of ruin… •A golden age turned to stone… вєαѕтмιѕтяєѕѕ єѴєℓYη Sometimes I wonder why they need me at all! … For this, a tragic journey• … A vision of a dying embrace• Evelyn blinked lazily as she felt herself be picked up and placed in a chair. She rubbed her eyes, trying to avoid falling asleep. Now wasn’t the time to be tired, and though she needed rest she also didn’t want to be separated from the others. It wasn’t fair that she stay behind while the others went out and risked their lives to avenge mom. What if they got hurt? What if they left her all alone? Evelyn didn’t want bad things to happen to the rest of her family while she was apart from them.
Her eyes brimmed with happiness when she saw the plate of eggs placed in front of her. It was real genuine food! Evelyn felt she hadn’t seen food in the longest time let alone taste it. Without further delay she hastily dug into the warm breakfast goodness in order to replenish both body and mind. Triumph’s reaction was happiness on a much larger scale and like Evelyn he quickly dug into his food as he listened to father’s words.
One of the heads nodded in response to Kyros before turning its attention back to the meal in front of it. The three heads were taking turns eating the food, so that all three of its stomachs got the nutrients it needed. He was worried about Evelyn though, and about what happened with Teifi. He had foreseen this, and although Castello had asked for their help he hadn’t wanted her to see the body. He had hoped that by being difficult she would give up, but that proved to be but wishful thinking on his part.
“N…no… don’t leave me… behind… I’ll go too!” Evelyn said determination mixed with sadness evident in her eyes. Though she was weak, staying behind simply wasn’t an option in her mind. “You guys go, we’ll catch up,” Triumph said in between bites of his food. He understood Evelyn’s feelings, but he wanted her to get as much rest as possible if she had to go and fight again. A smile touched Evelyn’s face as she turned back to her own meal, nodding her head in response to Triumph’s suggestion.

The sage returned to his room. Giving his book one last fond look--it was a very entertaining yarn about the ocean that reminded him so much of home--he slipped it back into the bookshelf. He carefully regarded the various spines for a minute before choosing two tomes--one a deep, blood red, the other with a pale blue cover. The man slipped them into a pack at his side, along with an elixir or two.
Finally, he picked up his own tome, Espinne. He held onto it, as if for luck.
Elimine knows we'll need it, with such a large army against us, he thought, running his fingertips along the leatherbound spellbook. We have more power, but one never knows, especially against a group so dedicated to their cause..
"...Ah. I nearly forgot."
With a grin, he withdrew a crumpled piece of parchment from his pocket and set it on his desk, on top of his well-worn notebook.
"I pray someone will find it," he murmured to himself, shutting the door gently as he left the room and returned to the others.
His eyes met Kyros's. "I am ready. Will we depart now?"

It had only taken a minute or so for Misura to put her armor back on; faster than usual, but she needed to. There was a battle going on soon, and they were going to be in the thick of it. She took Jyoti's hand, pulling the girl next to her, and moved towards the basement. The others could catch up, there was no reason to wait for them. All she needed was Jyoti.
She paused for a moment once there, looking at the Door in front of them. Damn this thing. Damn that dark god. Damn all this. It needed to be OVER. But for now... battle. That was all, no more. She gave her love another quick kiss, then slid through the Door silently, ready for what was next. It didn't matter. None of it mattered anyway...
