The demons, originally a troop of forty, was being slaughtered. As bodies both human and demon fell to the ground left and right, the town was a charred ruin, with some sectors still burning strong. "Ha," a demon laughed, its arm cut off, "We've accomplished our mission..."

 After a moment, Marrianna spotted her target. Atleast, she thought he was. With his elegant appearance he didn't look like the demon general type. But of course, looks can be decieving. Marrianna was living proof of that. She watched for a moment and saw how both the elegant man and the four armed... Whatever he was, fight. Taking in every detail, every technique. "Let's see how this works out." Marrianna stretched out her arms and felt energy flowing through her as an extra set of arms materialized from pure light below her normal ones, each hand holding a sword of light. "Well... This is akward." Regardless, she charged in with speed similar to the four armed one and prepared to strike.

"You son of a b***h!" Kaleel yelled from behind the laughing demon. He knocked him to the ground and stepped on his head holding his claw to its throat. "You and your buddies ruined my perfectly good meal and thanks to you I'm not going to get another one. Maybe I should just cut your heart out and eat it raw..."

Blade, why do you seek to harm me? Have I done you wrong? The swords froze in midair, as Dealthi chuckled softly. "Innocents or soldiers, I'll kill them all," he snarled. "Because like you, I am a soldier. I follow my orders. And you are no match for me." Dealthi pulled out his hand-and-a-half sword, and sent it speeding in a blur towards Relgan's right shoulder.

Relgan regained control of his swords and used his two right arms to scissor-grab Dealthi's sword, sending his left arms to attack him. "Do not underestimate my ability! My rank may not be what it once was but my skill is that of one much higher than you!"

Marrianna saw the blade of the four armed soldier stop mid swing. "How... Did he do that?" She asked herself. She saw nothing that could have stopped it. She also saw that four arms was in trouble. But not for long apparently, as his blades began to move once more. Marrianna continued her charge and swung all four blades of light at the demon general.

Disperse, blades, Dealthi thought. All four blades of Relgan's swords crumbled into dust, and Dealthi took a step back. He suddenly Firewalked back to Purity, as Marrianna struck with her light at thin air. "Sovani, your swordplay is commendable and you are far more physically capable than any other being I have encountered for while now." Dealthi straightened his tunic and sheathed his sword. "But, like that foolish girl who was hoping to attack me, you are too young to truly understand what I am." Rummaging through the bundle on Purity's back, Dealthi found an apple. Calmly taking a bite, he called out to Marrianna with his mouth full, "Would you like an apple, little girl?"

The demon laughed, showing a mouth full of rotting fangs. "Beca-"
Suddenly, another demon hurled a sword at it's head, cleaving it straight in two. "My hand slipped," it chuckled. Bending down to take two swords from the corpses of dead soldiers, it approached. "Come little one, don't be shy, I'll play with you," it cackled evilly, fire dripping from its maw.

Kikyo kept attacking the demon soldiers, using her puppets to take lethal hits for her.
'I wonder... Maybe...' she thought, putting her hands on the ground. The ground slowly started to shake as it made its way to a violent back and forth motion.

"Oy, over here mate! I founds a female human!" the demon shouted gleefully as he finished decapitating the last of Kikyo's puppets.
"Heheheh let's see what color her blood is!" another one joined in.
"I do love the taste of those magical humans!" a third called, approaching from behind a burning building. "They're so ... flavorful..." it chuckled, as each of them advanced with swords at the ready. "That little trick won't help you, female human!" the first one called out. "Why not come play?" "Yeah, why not come play?" "Please come play!" "Don't make me go fetch you!" A chorus of calls rang out, answered only by the distant screams of townspeople and the crackle of the fire.

((dude that is not cool. Don't god-mod anymore it's just no fair. But since I didn't say anything about it before I'll just go along with it one last time.))
raised the handles of his blades and where the steel blades that crumbled to dust used to be, concentrated shard energy took its place. "What you truly are is lowlife scum. Nothing more." The shard-blades were controlled by Relgan's will and his alone. There was no way for Dealthi to control his swords any longer. Now fight with your true abilities for apparently you're too cocky to truly understand what I am."

((well it depends. If they're lesser demons you could control them but they shouldn't last very long. Might as well just let them be slaughtered. But if they're higher ranking demons they can be able to hold their own for awhile but not be able to really damage actual main characters. Good enough explanation?))
