He was looking around and smiling feeling the cold water. When he took a sip tea he took another glimpse but, he saw nothing not even the fish by the felt the fish biting his toes. That made him flinch a bit, but, the next set of actions wasn't expected at all from the shy mermaid to him. She was massaging his feet, her warm touch almost made him purr like a feline to a soft petting. As her slight touch continued it made grow a big relaxed smile on his lips almost closing his eyes in complete comfort* Wow this is so good!

Charis had been watching his face closely for his reaction, and soon she herself is smiling. Her past had taught her many things and one, was that your situation is only as steady and set so long as your master considers you to be valuable. Although Seisuke had said that she is free and is no longer enslaved, hes been looking after her since they met, and she now views him as a kind of 'unofficial' master... more of a guardian really. She continues to rub his feet, slowly making her way up along his ankle to his calves. The whole time she keeps rubbing him, wanting to relax and bring some small measure of pleasure to her new friend.

*He kept smiling and slumping in relaxation. Soon he was utterly relaxed and no longer drinking tea but watching her soon his eyes completely close and having the massage of his life.* I love this. You are a natural at this charis * he spoke as if she could hear through th water and understand it. He thought of going in but shyed from it as he didnt want her to feel scared or akward*

Since she is now rubbing his leg as well as his feet, her head and shoulders are actually no longer under the water. Although she avoids meeting his gaze or looking at his face, she does have a small smile gracing her face. "I was taught by some of the slaves... and practiced on others when they weren't... busy."

Oh! Im sorry it wasnt my intention to bring your painful past again. *He said as he now had the chance to offer her some tea for her to drink. Putting on top of a lilypad so that she could take it gently*

Her smile becomes gentle at his words. As the lily pad approaches her, she takes the cup from its surface, floating back a bit so that her tail can stretch out just before her under the water. She sips the tea, her eyes closing while its taste flows over her tongue and fills her mouth. Its been so long, and this is a new flavor for her to try. Discovering that she enjoys it, she continues to take sips while they talk together. "Its alright... I can't run away from whats already happened. And pretending that it never did happen won't help."

He sips his tea as she talks nodding to her words. Just a he wanted closure and give her a new chapter in life. He smiled and made a more personal question "Well thats very wise of you Charis-sama, though i must ask something im very curious. How is it like to be able to live all the time underwater. I know i have swimed and even dived, but, In the sea its another that is told by a fact by many adventurers. I just were wondering is it just like living her in the surface?

Setting down her, now empty, tea cup she smiles indulgently at him and his question. "You'd be surprised how many times I've been asked that akri." She swims towards the bank, crossing her arms so that her chin my rest over her elbows. This puts her head next to his hip, but gives her a better view of his face and expression. "I guess.... its very much the same, except that you can 'walk' in every direction." Her one eye closes and a dream look crosses over her face. "And when you move you can fell the water all around you, like a warm breeze only more intimate... almost like being constantly touched by the wind."

He listen attentively to her words and tries to imagine it the best he could only to be stopped by the sudden urge to know what she meant with 'akri' it was bugging him for quite sometime now.
"Thats some feeling! Wanna ask you something. Whats akri suppose to mean? I am very curious of the word. "
He looked her soft blonde hair then her eye so it wont be disrespectful*

Shes surprised by his question, and blushes in embarrassment, not at being asked but by being caught. She had grown so comfortable in his presence that she hadn't realized she had been using her native language around him. "Oh... it... it means 'lord and master'." Even though hes being respectful to her, she dips her head down, avoiding his eyes.

He blinks at the meaning "But Charis you are free you dont need to adress me as a lord or a master " He said truthfully trying to explain or to show she has no one to follow orders to. "You can look at me if you wish"

The look of embarrassment over her features lessens at his words. Truly she was blessed to have been saved by someone so gentle and kind. While mentally giving thanks to her gods, Charis stretches her arms out. Fingers and palms digging into the soft soil of the pond's bank. With this leverage she lifts herself even further out of the water, not stopping until her arms are fully extended and the water hides only her scaled tail from the air. By now she is looking back at him, matching his gaze with her single eye. "I meant it respectfully."

He then there knew that he made a very good impression on her. Knowing how she was relaxed with her situation was making him happy and that was enough* "My apologies you can use the word if it makes comfotable. I dont mind"

In the cool water, the length of her tail slowly sways from side to side. The soothing water, passing over her scales in a comforting and calming manner. Easily enough she flips herself over, leaning back so that shes lying down, still have in the lake and half out. In the bright afternoon sun, it looks like the colors of her scales keep changing color. At one time a deep navy, then lapris and even a soft teal. The fragile fins on either side of her tail and at its end, are transparent and look to be a very pale green.

He looked at her and smiled maybe it was hot outside and wanted to go in the water. So he took his clothes except his pants and plunged into the waters below. Submerged he stay for a few minutes before returning to the surface gasping for air*
