::Kai walked to the land of the dead where he knew Keri would be waiting and on a rock she sat looking in a mirror fixing her hair. Kai approached her unsure of even where to begin.::
"Hello, Kai did SHE send you?" asked Keri seeing him in her reflection. Kai amused she meant Hanna.
"No, I came on my own free will. Keri I like you." muttered Kai. This wasn't nessarily a lie and if Keri believed him, it would help things.
"You like me, but why I want to kill Kallman. Why in the world would you like me for?" asked Keri.
"I know there is a good person inside you and that is why I like you." replied Kai.
"Interesting.. Jeannette come here." demanded Keri and out of the shadows Kai was captured by Jeannette's magic.
"Do you believe him?" asked Jeannette.
"Not yet. I want to see just how much he likes me and if he can prove it then I'll accept it as the truth." smirked Keri as Kai was taken into the fortess.::

Hanna swallowed hard and knelt in front of him.
"No Kallman," she said, shaking her head as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "You must not die for me. All of my life people have sworn to protect me, to die for me. Too many of them have done so. Don't be one of them."

::Kallman looked up to her as she was kneeling to his eye level. Looking at her face, if things were differenet he would have kissed her right then and there. He stood and turned his back to her as he spoke.::
"If dying is what it's takes then that is what I'll do. Kai and myself are the last of our clan. I have no place in this world. I live in the swamp all alone without Kai even. I would die for him and I'll die for you. If you have any objects then you should have never talked to me in the first place. For the day we met I wanted to protect you, to make you happy. Now here I stand my back turned to you. Now is your chance to say goodbye."

::Kai didn't even brother struggling as they tied his hands behind a chair and Keri and Jeannette stood in front of him.
"Do you really think he likes you?" asked Jeannette.
"Only one way to find out. Kai to prove that you like me. Where are the others?" asked Keri.
"In the forest." he responded. He had to get Keri to believe he was good if Charlie was to be normal again.
"And if I kill Kallman you won't be mad?" asked Jeannette.
"I don't like you so yes I will be mad." answered Kai.

Hanna stood silently still and closed her eyes. What should she do?
As she listened for some answer from inside herself the peculiar sensation of lying still in running water filled her, and she had a flash of a river rushing past. The waters whispered and murmured to her, filling her ears with a distant roar, and she opened her eyes.
Standing beside Kallman was the woman with the strange eyes, familiar and yet strange. She raised her hands and pointed to Kallman, and with sudden clarity Hanna could see lights moving around him, a cocoon of gray and red. The woman tilted her head in Hanna's direction and met her eyes.
"A warning," Hanna whispered.
The woman nodded once and vanished, leaving Hanna with the sense that she had never actually been there.
Kallman still waited, for he could not see the strange colors...his aura...that had not faded.
With a deep breath, Hanna spoke.
"Then I must say goodbye, Kallman. If I stay, you will die."
And she walked away.

"Goodbye Hanna." whispered Kallman as he walked the other way. He ran back to his swamp and went to his sercet waterfall and to the sercet cave in the waterfall that not even Kai knew about. He took off his bandana and threw it in the water as he put his arms on his knees and began to cry. He had left her go. Suddenly there was a voice within his head.
"Kallman, don't cry." it was his mother's voice but she had died so long ago. "Please, son don't cry. You are the strongest of the clan, you have to stop crying and move on." the voice whispered to him. He looked up at the waterfall the tears pouring down his face.
"I won't stop until I know she's safe and alive. I just can't let her kill herself to save me. I'm not worth saving." mumbled Kallman.
"My son be strong. Make up with this person and carry on. You have to take care of Kai. He is sacrficing him to the hunters at this very moment." she spoke.
"Is he okay?" asked Kallman.
The voice laughed. "Yes, he's fine just tied up. The hunters are not hurting him only asking questions. Kallman, get up, stand up and show her why you made your promise." smiled the woman disappearing. Kallman sat there as he watched his bandana float in the lake's surface.

::Keri and Jeannette were watching Kai from outside to see if he tried to escape. All day he sat there waiting.
"I'll go get the girls and let you handle him." Jeannette replied as she vanished to capture Daceria and Forest.
Keri walked in and untied Kai and Kai stood up facing her.
"Kiss me if you really mean what you have said." demanded Keri. Kai didn't even think about what had happened in the past and kissed her. His eyes grew red.
"How may I be of service?" he bowed to her.
"First get rid of the scarf on you neck and put these on." Kai stripped to his boxers and put the uniform on.
"Good boy now kill Kallman."

Hanna returned to others, who yet waited in the forest.
"We should go," Hanna said, looking around at the graves that seemed to have sprung from nowhere for the dead hunters. "They will come back."
"You're right," Daceria said with a nod. "Kedro is relentless."
So they parted one from the other, and Ferin, Charlie and Hanna went one way, and Forest and Daceria another.
Hanna led Charlie back to the swamp, then turned to hug him tightly. "You must stay here, Charlie. I am going to try and find a way to turn you back...but you won't find enough food where we are going. Be strong brother. I'll be back soon." She kissed his plant head, and left.

::Kallman knew he couldn't hide forever but as long as Kai was safe he would remain hidden from Hanna,Ferin and Charlie.
"We have to find Kallman." explained Daceria to Forest as they searched the forest frantically and then entered the swamp where Charlie was muttering sis..master..sis..master..love...sis..
"Do you think he's trying to tell us something?" asked Forest.
"It's obvious isn't it. Kalllman has fallen in love with Hanna but Hanna loves Ferin. It's a love triangle. Sorta like the one I'm in with Adam and Kedro." explained Daceria.
"We need to find him and save Kai before it's too late." spoke Forest calmly.

"Kai!" Ferin said, starting forward. Hanna grabbed his arm.
"No," she snapped in his ear. She could smell the acrid, crisp honey odor of Keri about him, and his eyes were not kind. "What are you doing Kai?" she asked, keeping a distance between them.

"It doesn't concern you. Keri said even she couldn't change your brother back. Where is Kallman?" asked Kai not seeing him anywhere in sight.
"Heck if I know. He ran off." snarled Hanna. What had that witch done to Kai?

That was when the strange woman again appeared. She flicked a glance at Kai, then turned to Hanna, tracing her lips with a finger.
The lipstick, Hanna thought suddenly, unable to remember when she had last seen it. "Kai," she said, taking a step closer and holding a hand behind her back. "Keri kissed you, didn't she?" she asked.
"Yeah, so what?" Kai replied, starting forward.
Hanna didn't give him a chance to move. Quick as lightning she upped with a fist and landed a blow square to his chin. Kai crumpled to the ground, knocked senseless.
