I haven't seen it, but I heard they changed out all the voice actors! Is that true?

They replaced all the voices with cheap copies since somehow WB lost/gave up the rights to the series. I think Meowth might be the same voice actor from the first 12 episodes or so, but I'm not sure. Honestly, the bad imitations and poor "slide" animation miffed me. I don't even bother with Diamond and Pearl. I miss the old series... Especially Johto Journeys.

Well, you were close, but no cigar! WB never owned Pokemon; they just owned the rights to broadcast it on TV. Actually, not the WB, but the parent company Turner Broadcasting owns the rights to show Pokemon on American TV. Up until 2 years ago or so, 4kids was the company that produced, directed and hired voice actors for the series. After they became a standalone company, they provided their own voice actors for their series. What happened was that Pokemon got sooooo big, that the pokemon brand created their own company, and took the rights from 4kids. They brought in the new voice actors that are now on the show. That's how that happened. As for it being broadcast, its shown on saturday mornings on Cartoon Network, which is also owned by Time Warner and Turner broadcasting.
And that, as they say, is that.
