Frost walked besides the two, grinning. She already knew what Blaze's reaction would be, and wanted more than anything to watch.

"Oh, I think I'll improvise..." Blaze cryptically remarked. He drew the Sword of Flames from his side, its scarlet blade catching the light.

The color nearly drained completely from Cid's face. "Hold on now, don't you think this is extreme!?"

"Oh come now, you've taken blows from members of SOLDIER plenty of times, back when SOLDIER was still around... albeit under Rufus' control," Blaze replied. Flames soon surrounded the blade. "Now I suggest you hold still, it'll hurt a lot more if you struggle."

"Don't worry, I wasn't planning on killing him. I wasn't even planning on maiming him. Nicking him, maybe, but any severe damage... no, that's overdoing it," Blaze stated.

Frost couldn't help but laugh at the remark, and at the evil gleam in Terra's eyes.

Cid's face remained calm. "Well, better that than facing Sephiroth alone!"

"Really now?" Sephiroth asked. With a smirk on his face his black wing flared out behind him.

"Yes really! You could do more damage to me than she could," Cid responded. As he noticed Sephiroth look at him with a mischievous gaze, the color drained from his face.

Sephiroth drew Masamune from his side but held it in an unusual way. The inner curve of the blade was facing Cid, as opposed to the outer, sharper edge. "I hope you're ready."

"Oh $#!@," Cid muttered.

Sephiroth struck at Cid once with the blunt edge, intent on beginning Octaslash.

Blaze and Frost observed with rapt attention. Cloud however turned his back on the sight.

"Relax Cid, this isn't the cutting edge. The worst that'll happen is bruises if anything," Sephiroth muttered. He continued his assault, raining in another four blows. Octaslash was nearly complete.

"That doesn't mean that it still doesn't hurt! And with your strength, it'll be more than just bruises," Cid snapped, his voice pained.

"He still has another three blows left..." Cid commented, ignoring the pain.

"You're something else, I'll give you that," Sephiroth replied. He continued the strikes, two more being landed, before slashing a final time. The impact of the final, most powerful slash knocked Cid into a wall.

"Ow..." Cid whispered, unable to scream. He then fell on his face to the ground.

"You're all just plain evil!" Cid shouted, annoyed. His deep blue eyes looked at Blaze, Frost, Bella, Sephiroth, Yuffie and Cloud. "It was an accident, knocking him unconscious!" he exclaimed, pointing at the red-maned man.

Blaze crossed his arms, smirking. "Be that as it may, you still over-reacted. I get up from my seat, and you throw me into the seat because I wouldn't drink tea? There is a logical explanation for why I wouldn't drink it: I'm tired. I was getting up to take Terra home, because it's past her bed-time."

The pilot's face turned red, mortification dominating his emotions.

"Haha, very funny," the annoyed pilot remarked. His bright blue eyes fell onto the scarlet-maned man. "So, I guess your new girlfriend is going with you, to live with you and your sister? Well, have fun. And I mean that literally." A slight chuckle escaped him upon seeing the bright shade of red the faces of Blaze and Frost adopted.
