"Ashierra." Alek's eyes shone as he with one swift motion embraced the female cattaur. Not one hint of sarcasm or wit lay in him as he squeezed her tightly to him. So foolish! No telling what would happen to them together! Was he condemning them both? Would she be able to put up with his constant traveling? It felt like his paws would never settle down.
Alek shoved the random thoughts aside as he nuzzled Ashierra. "Thank you." He whispered not pulling back to look at her. His words rang true enough, "You don't know how much this means to me."
Rippling flames danced over his skin, the light fire. Something that normally wouldn't come back for days was living in the magic. In the moment. The moment when Alek's barrier first started to melt away. Just a bit for now- but still more than what was believed to be possible.

Ashierra responded immediately. She wrapped her arms around Alek, and it felt natural, like something that should have been already happening. She buried her face against the crook of his neck and shoulder. Odd that such a foriegn feeling could feel so good, so right. So wonderful.
Her arms wrapped tighter at his words, her hands clenching into fists. "Maybe, one day, we'll both tell each other what this means to us." Her own fire lit in responce, rippling tenderly over her skin to play with Alek's fire. Her eyes no longer wishing to overflow from sadness, now bright with emotions and possibilities, she pressed small kisses to Alek's neck.

He had hugged women before - but never had it felt like this. Such a warm feeling, like the inner fire of his was rising higher than ever before. He kissed the top of her head, "One day." He whispered in her hair.
His fire caressed her body while it danced with Ashierra's own fire. Words couldn't describe the feelings driving Alek at the moment. But his actions - his magic said what he couldn't. The cattaur's arms squeezed Ashierra as he trailed kisses across her temple and down the side of her face until his lips met her lips.

Emotions. Emotions flying everywhere. Even though it felt awkward to not be holding it all in, not controling it, she knew she wanted it to be loose. She wanted to sense everything she was feeling, and be able to relish in those feelings.
A moan slipped through her lips, her skin tingling wherever Alek's lips had been until they reached her own. Her fire started to crackle and pop as though someone had tossed little fireworks into it. Usually, her fire was silent until it started to burn an object. She thought it was reacting with the newfound emotions, the thrill of the kiss, crackling in delight.
And that was her last thought on the subject. Everything became about Alek. His touch, his scent. The play of his fire. His lips and his taste. The feel of his skin under her hands, and the muscle under that skin, and the heart the beat within. Her own layers were begining to weaken, the outer layer crumbling from desire to let him in. It would take longer to convince more layers to fall, but, like Alek's, the process had begun.

His mental barriers - the things that restrained him daily were lost in the sea of emotions as he pushed closer to Ashierra. His magic wanted desperately to join in with her fire, but even while lost in emotions the cattaur held that shield.
His hands found her hair, her shoulders, her back where he trailed them teasingly down to where her fur touched skin. "Ashierra - " He managed between kisses as some sense came through, "Should we - here?" The words slipped in between pleased purrs.

"Mmm?" It took Ashierra a moment to realize what Alek was talking about. He was so distracting! "Oh, well-" She glanced around while clinging tight to Alek, her tail flicking curiously. Expressing both their deeper and superficial feelings for each other in the middle of a path was probably not the best thing to do.
She giggled, actually giggled, rubbing her nose against his neck. "Then, where would you like to go?" There was no way she would be able to think of anything good right now. That would require her to control what she was feeling, and that was the last thing she wanted to do, afraid to relinquish even a small amount of what was pulsing through her.

Alek chuckled as Ashierra rubbed her nose against his neck. The sound blended in with the constant purr that kept rising in his throat, "Anywhere you wish." He whispered softly into her ear as he herded them past the middle of the path.
His tail curled pleasantly as he pushed through the trees and leaned down to kiss Ashierra under the forest's cover. They should get back to the inn before night, but really the cattaur didn't care at the moment. He was too occupied treasuring the fire sprite before him.

"Mmm. Anywhere I wish?" Ashierra purred, going wherever Alek lead. Her fire continued to crackle softly, somehow leaving the close foliage singe free. After pausing when Alek did, she pressed on, dragging him a bit deeper to be away from view or sound of the path, the dense foliage providing the cover.
"So, if I wish here," She murmured as she kissed the insides of his palms, "-then you'd be in agreement?"

"Mmm'hmm." Alek gasped as his magic crackled softly as well, "Anywhere - anyhow." He replied flexing his hands that now tingled from Ashierra's kisses.
"That-you....drive me crazy." He whispered capturing her in his arms and against a tree. His tail swayed behind him as he started kissing a trail down from her temple to her collarbone. If Alek could freeze time, keep everything out - this would be the moment he would chose.

Ashierra purred louder, listing the the sweet melody that their singing fires created together, one that only those who knew fire intimately could distinguish.
It was her turn to gasp as Alek stepped up, trapping her in place. She ran her fingers through his hair and down his arms, her blood pulsing in her ears. Was this real? Everything she was feeling, the way she was responding, the way her fire was voicing its reactions. It was all so new and unexpected and different and.... positively wonderful! "Oh, Alek." She whispered playfully, nipping at his ear. "Crazy is only half of what you are." She placed her hands under his jaw, pulling his head back up to lock her lips to his again.

His fiery gaze traveled over Ashierra. Everything about her, he wanted to take it all in for this moment. Alek's spine tingled pleasantly at her touch and he couldn't help but to let out a soft groan. It was hard to concentrate on memorizing this scene when she was being so dist....what was it he had been trying to do again?
He chuckled softly at her comment before his reply was silenced by her lips on his. The only sound the cattaur made was a deep purr as he opened his mouth and deepened their kiss, his hands clinging against the bark as he leaned against Ashierra.

Her skin prickled, magic and emotions flowing in and around her. She pressed against Alek, her fur fluffing in excitement. She wanted more, needed more!
Suddenly, more was all so much. She thought she would burst from the energy of the moment! Her eyes snapped open and her head pulled back into the inch of space between her head and the tree, bopping lightly against the trunk. Her hand clung tightly to Alek's shoulders, to both keep him in place and to use him as a support. She gasped, staring at the male as everything began to sink in.
And yet, unable to bear even the inch away, she moved her arms, wrapping them tightly around Alek's chest and burying her head against his neck, her chest heaving. "What is this?" She asked. Was love really this powerful, this overwhelming?

Alek's arms wrapped around Ashierra as he tenderly nuzzled her cheek. His arms flickered light with magic as he enjoyed her warmth. It was astonishing how fire could be even warmer. Her question made the cattaur pause though. What is this? He thought with a faint frown. Something - no it couldn't be right? Maybe....it was. But he didn't want to reflect on it so much - thinking ruined the way he was allowing his own feelings freedom to move.
Still he couldn't leave it alone. "Some say only love burns brightly like this." He murmured in her ear as his hands moved up her back, each massaging the warm skin pressed against him. Alek couldn't control himself. Words were no longer needed as he pulled Ashierra's face up to his and kissed her deeply.
Soon enough the whole night would pass with neither cattaur leaving the forest until they awoke the next afternoon.

After the most peaceful sleep of her life, the sound of birds twittering softly was the most annoying sound ever. Though her sleep had been peaceful, her dreams had been alive and active. Memories of her family had flitted through, happy memories that she thought had been forgotten. Laughing brothers who's faces had been long lost, a mother who had sung a small Ashierra to sleep, sitting on her father's lap as he read to his children. Her dreams had leaped over the wars and the deaths, the harsh training and empty home, skipping ahead to the present.
The moments that had brought her to Alek. The thrill of running on the beach, the male's muscles strong and rippling as he hunted a goat, the tenderness of his touch on her scratched hand. And, most prominent, the night that she was now waking from.
After the birds had woken her, she felt the soft grass under her, and a warm breath running through her hair. Her eyes cracked open to a view of Alek's chest, her head snuggled against the male's shoulder. She raised her hand to pet his chest. Last night... A subtle soreness of her body told her it truly had happened. With a sigh of unusual contentment, she started planting light kisses on Alek's neck.

Alek mumbled lightly in his sleep. He swore he had one of his best dreams that night, but oddly enough he couldn't remember anything that he had dreamed past being with Ashierra. That had been a dream right? No way they could have done that last night right?
The male realized the truth the moment he felt another pressed against him. Ashierra! Alek's eyes snapped open in sleepy surprise. He moaned softly against the flurries of kisses and playfully nuzzled her before pulling back slightly.
"I think we better take it easy." He whispered before kissing her tenderly on her forehead.
((I usually use smaller text cuz it looks more organized to me. :3 I can read either way though - so whichever style you want is fine. <3 ))
