She kissed him back feeling greatful that she finally found someone to spend the rest of her life with. Midnight pulled back. "What about a ring?" she asked curiously.

Mark raised his eyebrow. He put his hand in his coat and took out an ring with a small ruby on it. "How is this?" He smiled showing her.

"it's perfect." Midnight said taking it out of his hand and trying it on. Midnight's eyes suddenly turned black and she fell to the ground. We have a job to do we have no time for this silly vampire. the voice said inside her head. Like always she coughed up blood but this time was worse her nose bled also dripping black blood onto her face.

Mark was caught off guard. "What the hell?" He said and go to the floor next to Midnight. "Midnight?! What's happening?" He yelled. He put his arms around her and held her close.

Midnight got up and went to the sink. she spit some blood out and wiped her nose the sink black with her blood. "I'm okay just.........a headache." Midnight said sitting on the floor. i'm marrying him no matter what you do. she thought holding her head.
