Misc. info sad optional) I started playing a little before 8th edition came out, so around 2004. I didn't start really playing until the Ravnica block ended, and Coldsnap was just starting to be talked about at my card shop. I bought my first box of cards, Planar Chaos, and was so happy that I pulled three Damnation's (One was foil) and some other chase rares. After Morningtide came out, I finally started playing in the tournament scene, and won only a handful out of maybe 100 tournies. Once Shadowmoor came out, the tournament decks just started getting way to expensive with the arrival of the fix-lands, Reflecting Pool, and Demigod of Revenge. I fell out of the tournament scene, and started playing just at my local card shop.
