Gizmo continued to tug at the jacket for a few more moments when suddenly his nose smelt something strange and somehow mouth-watering at the same time. He gave a small yip sniffing at the offered morsal curiously and reached out to grab it in his teeth.
It tasted strange, but not in a bad way and Gizmo wagged his tail happily, turning his nose up to glance at the human. He wondered if the two-legs were given names just as wolves were.
Jade's cry of protest diverted his attention from the human and he canted his head in confusion, what had happened to upset her so?
He padded over to her, nuzzling at her side affectionately. Jade no like White-eye? He questioned. He thought it strange that she was so fearful of someone who obviously did not wish them any harm. For in Gizmo's young mind, one who came with food could surely be no enemy.

He tosses another piece of jerky, this one to the green pup (Jade/Karmiti), but thats all, as he puts the rest away. He wants not to be bitten, not to half tame them.
"I have to find the rest of my traps before I loose them in the storm..." He says conversationaly. "Why don't you take these little warriors home, Hakan."
He doesn't want to be out here when the storm breaks any more than Jade does, although the reasons are a little different. He has no pack to help him FIND home should he be out here in the middle of a blizzard, and can't just go nose to tail and wait for it to pass.

When Bran offered the food to Jade, she stood back and rejected it quickly. She rolled it over to Gizmo with her nose, and smiled very politely, supressing her true emotions about the situation. She did not know why she was so worried, but she could not control her anxiety.

Gizmo beamed at Jade, then glanced at the food, gobbling it up quickly. His tail wagged again and he rolled over in the snow, exposing his pale belly to the elements before jumping back onto his paws and dashing in a wide circle, yipping excitedly.
It was strange that after being taught how all two-legs were evil and disgusting creatures, that the one he met was nice and carried food!
He paused beside Jade, pressing his nose up against her chin and giving a low whuff, sensing she was still fearful.
Gizmo protect Jade from White-eye, he no claws or pointy teeth. He no match for me.
It seemed the little pup had forgotten about the weather in his excitement, eyes paying no heed to the darkening skies, and body not noticing the rapid change in temperature.

Lera lad besdes her quickly growing puppies, sheilded in their den from the outside world. The den was warm an comforting, and the small bundles of fur laid by her sde without a care in the world. The she-wolf slept as well, but her sleep was disturbed.
Her dreams and fantasies that floated in her hed quickly turned totragedies. She saw a dark cloud loom over her body; whch was strangely pure white; contrasting to the dark. Around her were other white wolves, but all detail was taken away from them. They howled towards ths blak sky which started to pour down stones, spears, and fire upon her comrades, the ones that looks so much like her. One by one they were struck down; their howls failng from her ears. Her heart beat faster: she couldn't contol it! Blood stained her face as the splatters marked her body. Truely terrible! What malicous ntent would ever do somethng lke this? The black sky engulfed her body, blurrng her vson. She was lost in a white snowstorm of inky blackness: a paradox.
Lera awoke with a start, her body termleing whch mght be a cold sweat; if she was human. The puppes beside her sensed her fear; and gathe close to her, snuggled next to her belly and emittng soft whines. Lera dipped her head to lick each of the small bodies, her own starting to calm. Lera took deep breathes. What was that terrible dream....? Somethng was amss; somethng didn't feel right, but Lera was inside this den; not outside. She cried, whmperng, to herself. What was ths horrible uneasiness?
Outside:
Night seemed to have fallen upon the lands...but was it really night? The sky was a cloudy black and neither the sun nor moon shone through. The ar was chill and cold and the trees shook in their roots. The wolves would get a sense of uneasiness of ths storm...
The wnds had started to pck up, and a lght flurry of snow had begun. Yet de to the wnd the snow was being whipped about, making it seem like more snow.
But the worst was yet to come.

Lexi:
She lays her ears back against her skull as darkness sweeps over everything, as though some vast paw had brushes daylight from the skys. Something about the howl of the wind raises her hackles, and makes her want to run headlong back to the main den, though at the same time, she's wary of leaving Lera and the pups...and has no idea where Gaara is. She whines slightly and paces back and forth in front of the birthing den, glancing at the birthing and in the direction of the main den...her fur buffeted by the wind. She's never seen a storm this serious before. Finaly she backs partway into the mouth of the birthing den, a living barrier between the outside world and the living beings inside, if not one that feels very brave just now.
Bran:
The sudden fall of darkness makes his pulse quicken slightly as he straightens. If he had been about to laugh at Helke(Gizmo's) antics, the humor fades quickly, especialy as the wind whips up, driving snow before it like ice cold teeth that batter the strange gathering and send his coat and scarf whipping around him.
"Damn!" He almost shouts, throwing up an arm to protect his face, half blinded by the flurry of snow, and his vision improved not a bit by the inky darkness. He can't feel the sence of deep possibly preternatural unease caused by the storm, but it's seriousness is not lost on him. Being trapped out in a storm like this would be a sealed fate, leaving a frozen corpse to be picked at by crows and insects.

The male alpha wolf snarled and tracked through the snow. "GIZMO! KAMALI! AERIA! LEXI! GAARA! JADE! TOBAIS! CARMEN!" He had left the two alone for a while, to find the others. Seeing a few figures he would let out a howl. "EVERYONE! GET IN THE MAIN PACK DEN! HURRY!" Snapping, he would dart to Lera's den. "Lera," He called through the enterance. "Lera, we have to get the pups into the pack den with everyone else. They should be old enough to see and move! We can help them if we need to! You four have NO chance of living if you stay there." He growled slightly. She had to listen to him, this was dangerous.
Turning to see Lexi, he would give her a nod. "Help her." Sighing slightly, he would take off again. There needed to be some food in the pack den. Seeing two baby deer that seemed lost, he would snap his jaws around the neck of one, allowing his claws to tare it apart. Then he went for the other one. It gave a good chase, but he caught it eventually. Dragging the food to the den, one at a time, he would go back out to hunt for his pack. "GAARA! JADE! GIZMO! KAMALI! AERIA! CARMEN! TOBIAS!"

Lexi remerges from the mouth of the den with another whine. She'd THOUGHT that Gaara was back at the main den, he'd been there earlier, but it sounded like he was missing...this wasn't good.
"Lera, is it safe to take the puppies to the main den? they're getting stronger..." SHe's also worried for the Alpha female, who's been huddled up inside the den since the pups birth. "the weathers getting bad, but if we hurry..."

Tobias was about to say something, perhaps asking what a 'Love den' was, (he was quite oblivious), when a torrent of wind and snow ripped through the trees. Haku ran off immediately, and suddenly Tobias felt very uneasy. This was not right. At all. Looking to Carmen in alarm, he wondered if they should head back to the main den, where they would be sheilded from the elements. And where was Kamali!?
"The storm is coming. We should find the others and head to the main den!" He exclaimed. He guessed the storm would last a bit. Hopefully they'd have enough food to last them through the storm! He looked around, but could see no other sign of life. The rabbits and squirrels had probably left to the shelters of their own dens.
"Run to the den! I'm going to find Kamali!" He yelled over the rising wind, wonderign where on earth his brother had gotten to.

Kamali was still out, with Ona. And when the snow started and the storm gathered he whined, looking around uneasily. His heart was racing and he felt oddly aware of his surroundings, though he was not sure why. Was it going to be a big storm?
Faintly his small, deligate ears picked up Haku's shouts, and he whined more, looking very worried. "Ona.." he breathed, sounding as if he'd just run all day. "We.. we need to go!" He was almost panicking, he did not even know where the pack den was! Or where they were!
His whole bodice trembled as he nipped at the female, taking a few steps where he remembered Haku's calls. But he froze, shivering. Was this the right way? was it?
He tugged Ona along some more, scared because it was obvious something big was going on. After a while it started to get worse, and Kamali feared for his life. His head tilted back and he howled.
The howl was easily heard, and rather eerie, like the call of a ghoul or the dead. It was full of sadness, as his howl would always be. That was when he learned he could howl. In time of defeat.
A funny thought slid through his mind as panic over took it, funny thoughts usually would in times like these. He knew he'd never howl for anything happy. He knew he was quiet, and if he had to be loud.. it might as well be to save his own life, right?

Tobias ran in the direction he had thought Kamali had went. The snow was growing thicker, and blurred his vision. Where was his brother!?
Suddenly, he heard a sad howl, coming from the opposite direction. He ran, following where he was sure he had heard the noise. He could faintly smell his brother's scent, which reassured him. Then suddenly, for the image was obscured before by the snow, he could see his brother, with the other pup.
"Kamali!" He shouted. Tobias hesitated for a split second, contemplating how he could carry both pups to the den. He couldn't let Ona stay out here in this weather. He was fast, and could probably run both of them there fast enough. Bending his legs, he lowered himself to Kamali's level.
"Jump on!" He ordered, "I'll carry you." Then, he grabbed Ona by the scruff of her neck, and began to run.

* What to do? So much chaos around what should i do? Haku took off to the den. Wait, is that my name being called? Why cant i hear very well? What is this sudden urg to flee, flee for a while to someplace safe. The feeling on my face suddenly shattered and was followed with a cold sensation. Why does this feel so wrong? My eyes, they look so darkened, like when a hand is put infront of the sun. A cold winf whipped across my legs that sent a coldening slow feeling that creeped up my spine. This is right.. their it is again, my name called again. Rustling around me, voices in the den, a sudden chill fulling howl that breached the skies again. This one though had no names... and it didnt sound like a full grown wolf. Claws digging deep into the earth i wonder... why am i running? this feeling of helplessness... its caught me in the mist of some disater. Why do i feel so helpless, like a caged creature being poked at by others. Kicking up the snows i leave a heavy path only to be covered almost as soon as my paws touch the ground. The nights gaze is hovering over the land and its chills are almost as if its laughing... laughing at our helplessnes, our pain our suffering, and our worry.*
*Snapping from the trance Carmen found herself nearing the pack den... why was she running again?*

Relief flooded into Kamali's mind, realizing just how much better Tobias made everything. At the orfer he lept on, quickly bitting at Tobias' neck, only hard enough to hang on. This was not going to be a comfotable ride. He found himself whining more, he could not stop.
Whatever was coming had him terrorized. His gaze slightly rolled toward the heavons, as he watched the mass of dark clouds. Death stompers, he called the black ones. A depressing name, eh? He'd thought of it from whenever they would poor down the wet, cold waters, the rain, and a boom would shake the land, followed by a flash of lightening.
He hated the booms, but enjoyed the light show very much, when he was inside. He never knew it to storm with snow.. but that is what it was doing! He wondered if the skies stomped and crashed and lit up in snow storms too.

Concentrating only on getting to the den, Tobias gritted his teeth and ignored the biting wind that flowed directly into his face. He hoped Kamali was hanging on! The snow was slippery, and he had a hard time not slipping or stumbling. The snow soon got thicker, stinging his eyes and obscuring his vision. Breathing heavily, he decided to stop for a moment, pausing to strain and hear anything above the screaming wind that would tell him where the pack den lay. With an unpleasant jolt, he realized he hadn't even been to the pack den yet!
Starting to run, his nose picked up the faintest trace of a wolf smell, above the cold wind that seemed to sweep all smells away. He recognized it as being Carmen's. He hoped desperately he was going in the right direction.
