Rachel walked on through the mall after a small rest at the bench, hoisting her bags and making her way toward the food court. Along the way, though, she noticed the store that Nobara and Seiya had stopped at, and her curiosity overwhelmed her. Stopping for a moment to look in, she nodded to herself approvingly.
Wow... I wonder why I didn't notice this place until now, she thought to herself, half-grinning a little. Maybe just this one more before sushi.
Striding past the other girls, she made her way into the store, looking around in the front briefly. As she passed a rack with some hoodies hanging on them, she decided to stop and see how they would look on her. You could never have too many hoodies, after all.
This looks good... she mused to herself, grabbing a red one with an autumn leaf pattern across half of the front.
Walking over to a nearby mirror, Rachel looked around a little to make sure no one was watching her. Confident for the moment that no one was looking, she sprouted two extra arms in addition to the ones currently holding the bags - out of the ends of her elbows, and bent in the opposite direction.
Gotta make this quick.
She used one of the extra arms to hold the hoodie up in front of her, looking in the mirror and closely examining her appearance. The other arm reached up to her long black hair, running its fingers through it briefly. As the fingers touched the hair, it turned from black to brown, losing a few inches from the back. Rachel smiled and nodded, satisfied that it was a good match.
No, wait... there's still something missing, isn't there?
Closing her eyes briefly, she waved the arm across her eyes. When she opened them again, they had changed from their usual light brown to a more hazel color. The change was subtle, but very noticeable to Rachel. This color played off the leaf pattern on the hoodie much better. Nodding again to herself, she passed the hoodie off to sit on top of one of her shopping bags and headed toward the checkout counter.

Seiya blinked and shrugged, "Emo clothes have their place." She shifted her few bags a little; "It might be cool to mix and match, I guess," She said thoughtfully.
She cautiously entered the store, not letting any kind of insecurity show on her face. She idly glanced at the clothing.
"I wonder how they expect to sell us what we can't see; this lighting is going to hurt my eyes and I will NOT wear glasses, not offense Nobara." She chuckled, rare for her.

Nobara let out a small laugh, so unlike her. "Believe me, they can be a pain. I don't like contacts, though... something about sticking things in my eye gives me the chills. I'm afraid I'll poke my eye out or something. Honestly, though... this place may have nice clothing, but I'm gonna be angry if I walk out of the store with something I thought was brown and turns out to be a nasty green color." Nobara smiled, and moved toward the hoodies; she totally needed a new hoodie, hers were all nasty and full of moth-balls, definitely something Seiya wouldn't catch her wearing. It was then that she noticed another girl... what.. WAS THAT?
AN OCTOPUS! SHE HAS TO BE AN OCTOPUS! OR AN IGUANA... NOBODY CHANGES THEIR APPEARANCE LIKE THAT! To be honest, Nobara was completely flustered.. had the girl sprouted extra... ARMS? Were they even arms? Was she the result of some biological experiment...? Many thoughts ran through Nobara's mind at that point, some she didn't exactly want to confess to the public. As the girl walked off toward the checkout counter, Nobara kept her eyes peeled at the girl, strutting back to Seiya.
"I...just saw something REALLY freaky." she said, glancing over at the person. "Freakier than stalkers or mind readers or anything else..." Nobara took a deep breath, and placed her palm on her forehead, just to make sure it wasn't going up at a rapid rate. Nobara leaned forward and set her dozens of bags down, whispering into Seiya's ear. "Okay... that girl just had extra... arms. You can call me crazy, but that was what happened. Of course, you probably won't believe me... I don't even believe myself." Quickly standing back up and shaking her head, Nobara took off her glasses and brought out a small white cloth, rubbing it onto the lens itself. I must... be seeing things.

Rachel quickly paid for her purchases and headed for the exit to the store. As she walked past the others, she locked eyes with Nobara for just a split second, her gaze hovering there a fraction of a moment longer than it should have.
s**t! Rachel cursed her own stupidity in the back of her mind. She saw! You big idiot, you let her see you do that!
Her usual composure was completely shattered, and she stumbled over her own feet trying to get out of the store. In the process, she dropped half of her bags, and all of the video games and books she'd bought earlier came tumbling out and onto the floor between the two.
"Aaaaahhhh, damn it!" she yelled, dropping to the floor after them. She quickly began grabbing one thing after another, haphazardly shoving them into whichever bag and trying desperately not to look up at the other girl. It didn't even matter at this point. She just needed to get out of there.

What was this girl's problem...? She seemed to dash around as if Nobara had seen something she wasn't supposed to see.
Oh yeah. She had seen something she wasn't supposed to see.
The girl, in Nobara's opinion, looked kind of like a nerd, no offence to her at all. Nerds were cool. Sort of. There was no doubt in her mind, however, when the videogames came flying out of her bags, not to mention the books. Not that those weren't cool, either. She just wasn't into that sort of stuff. Otaku, book worms, all of that.. no. She didn't like it. Raves and shopping were more her thing.
Sighing lightly, she made her way in her black sandals over to the stranger, and kneeled down, picking up a few of the books and throwing them into her bag with precise aim. Archery did that to people, make them so agile and perfect in aiming. That was one plus, at least...
She didn't say anything, but instead bit her lower lip in both confusion and suspicion; plainly, this girl could have covered her act.. but pretty much failed in doing so. Miserably. In fact, if she had kept her cool, she probably could have gotten out of the mall without raising an uproar. People seemed to do that these days... in fact, a few people were looking over at them, smirking; a few even laughed. In return, Nobara mouthed a few bad words and gave out her prized death glare; boy,. did they turn away.
"Why... are you in such a hurry? It's like you just did something you shouldn't have..." Nobara said, grinning annoyingly.

Rachel froze in place when Nobara started speaking to her. She stopped, the last book in hand, and slowly started gathering up her bags. Blushing rather heavily in embarrassment at this point, she tossed the book lightly into one of her bags, seemingly admitting defeat.
"Um... no, it's okay," she said, finally raising her head to meet Nobara's gaze. "I was kind of careless back there."
What's with that stupid grin? she thought to herself, furrowing her brow a little. It... kind of pisses me off.
"Anyway, uh... thanks for the help," Rachel muttered. She really just wanted to run out of there, but she'd already attracted enough attention. Time to calm down. Play it cool. There was still time. After all, the girl hadn't run screaming from her yet.
This would have been fine if she could have thought of something else to say, but honestly, what do you say to someone in a situation like this? The girl had just seen one of Rachel's most embarrassing secrets, and now she was trying to play it off like it was nothing! That alone was enough to take all her words away. So she just hovered there, somewhat awkwardly, waiting for some sort of response.

Nobara grinned once more, but could tell that it was annoying the girl next to her. How funny. She hadn't met anyone yet who had thought the way she smiled was annoying, it was great. Back home kids were too scared of her to make fun of her... besides, if they did, she'd just shoot them in the back with an arrow.
Nobara's bags were still over with Seiya, and she presumed they were safe; if they were stolen, it wasn't like she didn't have any money or anything to buy them again. Ah, the joys of being rich. After finishing picking up the bags, her bracelets jingling like it was Christmastime, Nobara stood up, and cracked her back by leaning backward just a bit. She wouldn't talk about what she had seen before... her glasses were proabably dirty. Yeah, that was it. Or she was seeing double.
There was a REALLY cute skirt which the girl had bought, however, and Nobara wanted it really, really badly. To put some conversation into the silence, she decided to speak up quickly and loudly. "So you have some pretty good taste.. I was wondering where you got that one green skirt... the short one with a few zippers on it..." Nobara hadn' t EVEN SEEN the skirt.. it could be brown, for all she knew. In fact, she hadn't even SEEN a skirt which matched the description she gavei it in the girl's bags... she was just making things up at this point.

By this point, Rachel had managed to calm down again, regaining her usual level of composure. She ran a hand through her hair - not changing the color or anything this time - and sighed as she stood back up. Stuffing her things into her bags a little more snugly, she raised an eyebrow at the other girl.
"Green skirt?" she asked quizzically. She didn't remember buying anything like that, although she had bought a whole hell of a lot of clothing. Maybe she'd missed it. "Well, there was this one place down near the other end of the mall... they had some pretty nice cargo pants there, too."
Weird... Rachel thought to herself. I know she saw me in there, but she's striking up a conversation anyway, even after that stupid scene just now.
Despite her reservations to the contrary, she smiled just a little. The crowd had dispersed, off to find other people to stare at for the time being. Relaxing a little, she held out a hand.
"Anyway, sorry again about the spill. I'm Rachel. Nice to meet you."

Seiya walked over, unable to continue wastching idly as this girl Rachael showed off her nerdiness to Seiya's...protoge'? Hmm...you could call it that but socializing with this girl was a no-no especially since neither of them seemed to have much confidence.
"My, shouldn't freaks who can't control their powers stay at home? Or was it that you didn't want to be caught using your powers? HA! You're a trip." She paced around Rachael, appraising her, "I can do the same thing, you know, except I have no limits." She said quietly, her hair and eyes changing colors rapidly and then her hair stopping on its usual dark color and her eyes on a slightly lighter shade of blue. "You could have stopped your embarrasment by simply putting down what you had and picking up something else, spider-woman." She sneered.
Seiya might have left her alone, but the mere mention of someone with powers even somewhat like her own being afraid of what people thought or what she allowed people to think was intolerable.
No, not even that...it had to have been not the books, or video games (which she really had not too much against), or even the hideous glasses, it was the combination that made this girl right for Seiya's total spite.
Seiya smirked, narrowing her eyes. Waiting for the girl's reaction.

Rachel's face reddened all over again at this newfound source of abuse. She quickly whipped her head around to face Seiya, a look of pure unbridled anger painted across her face. She dropped all of her bags on the floor, lifting her arms into the air.
"Fine. You really want me to make an a** of myself in front of all these people, don't you?" she hissed. "What would you know about it, anyway?"
All I ever wanted was just to be normal. I didn't ask to be born with this stupid power. Mom and dad would've been better off without me hanging around.
But if this girl really wanted Rachel to make a scene, then that's exactly what she would do. Maybe it would teach her smart mouth a lesson, at the very least. Crossing her arms in front of her, she concentrated for a moment. A split second later, four arms sprouted out of nowhere - two out of the sides of Seiya's own body, and another two came up from the ground. The arms growing out of her sides attempted to pin Seiya's arms down to her sides, while the ones growing from the floor quickly grabbed at her ankles.
"Better watch that smart mouth of yours, or I can't guarantee where I'll put my hands," Rachel sneered.

Seiya...looked bored.
She froze the airs coming from the floor in mid-air. Stepping over them, Seiya stepped over them and crossed her two 'normal arms' making the other two dissapear.
"My, someone should learn to control her temper." She yawned, not even looking phased. "Really, you're making a scene. For someone who looks so wordly you know nothing about bullies. Don't you know we only pick on you because we're hiding our-" She placed her hands over her heart, "-own insecurities?" She breathed, then burst out snickering.

Rachel simply grinned at this. She was already too irritated to get much more flustered at the girl's remarks now - all she was concerned about was teaching her a lesson. Keeping a tight rein on her emotions, making sure not to get careless, she created another pair of arms to dart up out of the ground in the area where Seiya was about to step.
"I don't care what your problem is," Rachel sneered. "But evidently your mother didn't slap the taste out of your mouth nearly often enough when you were a child, you spoiled b***h."
She used the opportunity created by Seiya's laughing to mount an assault, sprouting two extra arms on each side of her body and running at the girl headlong. One arm on each side grabbed for Seiya's arms, trying again to pin them at her sides. The other two attempted to punch her in the face and stomach, respectively.
There's no way she can get away from them all at once. This b***h is going to feel some pain.

Taking careful measures Seiya again, forced the arms that grew on her to dissappear, the quickly froze Rachael's body about three feet from her.
That still left...the floor. Damn, she was going to fall.
The arms grabbed her ankles, pulling her legs from underneath her...

Courtney sprang across the mall.
"SEI-CHAN!!" She screamed darting across the floorand stopping Seiya's fall, propping her up using her own power. "Whatcha' doing?" She asked, watching the arms dissappear as Seiya dusted her clothes off as she was constantly doing.
"Who're these two? Your friends Sei-chan?" She looked like a child who'd lost her best frined.

"Hmph," Rachel snorted as her body came to a stop, falling short of her mark. She grinned to herself, though, as the trap she laid for Seiya came to fruition. The extra limbs she'd grown for herself shrank back into the sides of her body as she stood there, watching.
Good thing I don't need to move to do this... she thought to herself, grinning like mad on the inside. As Seiya fell toward the ground, a copy of one of Rachel's legs shot up from the floor, headed right for her face. If I can't slap her in the mouth, I can at least kick her in the teeth.
