Russell put a few finishing touches on three separate trojans, and then readied them for download. The Ghost removed his flash drive from the USB port on his laptop and turned toward Razolli, "Well, I'm ready. Any luck on that signal?"

Smitty typed as fast as he could, sweat beading inside his fedora.
Almost . . . Jackpot! He found the signal!
"'Ey boss! I got the signal!! Want me to take it down?" Smitty asked from the computer, his weaselly face and Gangster talk made him almost step out of a Pulp novel.
"Do it, Smitty. We don't have time to question moral aptitude!" Razolli said with a commanding tone.

[Atlantic City, NJ] Russell redonned his costume finishing with his helmet, "Time to get down to business." The Ghost positioned himself where he had a direct line to the satelite dish. This was his moment. His moment to shine. After this moment, he will be able to change the course of human history and guide humanity into the society of tommorrow that he envisioned. Looking toward Razolli, the Ghost realized that the gangster didn't share his dream; however, the man would prove useful. Also, it didn't hurt that Razolli would become rich, "Ready to make history, partner?"

The gangster smiled almost deviously. There was something more to what this ghost man was doing, and he wanted in. "Let's do this, Russel." the gangster said as Smitty keep an iron grip on that signal.

The Ghost activated the their overriding signal, "Now, we won't have full control of all the robots until their master control unit is down. As soon as I'm able to, I'll dispatch a squad of the combat drones to dispose of it. Then, the rest should fall into place."

The Don smiled. "That's fine by me, my friend. We don't need all of the Commbots, just enough." he said.

The Ghost concentrated on his controls while continuing his conversation with Razolli, "Agreed; however, I don't want to risk their master control tracing our signal back to us. That would be bad."

Razolli nodded. "One run-in with the cops was bad enough, Russel. Our mistake won't be repeated." he said with a devious grin.

Razolli sneered. "You're right. Keep that camouflaged, Smitty!" he said as the other gangster nodded.

After a few moments, the worst of the blast had escaped through the spot portal that Reaper had opened up in the center of the room. With the concealed explosion finally gone, Reaper was able to reform his destroyed form. Spiting out a few colorful curses, he tried to focus his eyes to look around the room. It felt like every cell of his being was on fire. Not surprising he supposed. He had reformed and denigrated a few times while the blast was trying to escape.
As far as the room went, everything was burned, blackened, broken, and reduced to ash. Everything save for the few magical items Alcina had placed up to conceal whatever she had anticipated coming out of that box to trap inside the room. Obviously...the explosion wasn't one of the things she had planned for. That could have...and given her level of power when they arrived, likely WOULD have killed her.
Reaper turned his attention towards the goddess and their momentary allie. They looked like they were in one piece, which was amazing considering the Goddess practically had her face directly over the blast. It did however...appear that she was having a bit of trouble recovering. Her arms were still protectively in front of her face, and she didn't even seem to realize that the blast was gone now.
Reaper grimaced a bit, then wrapped his shadow around the three of them to get them out of the small building. Best to get out of here in case something else happens. Plus, Edel might be able to do something to help her. A moment later, Alcina, Azazel, and Reaper disappeared from the charred room.

The Ghost shouted over his shoulder, "Smitty! Try to fool their tracking by bouncing the signal off of different satellites! If you need it, there's a scrambler program on this flash drive!"
Russell held up a second flash drive. The other one was plugged into the laptop.

Smitty looked up. "I got an idea. I'm gonna bounce it off of a few cable dishes in town as well as some of the sattelites. Just gotta avoid the JLA's network. Otherwise, we're in for supernatural trouble!" Smitty replied, typing frantically.
"Smitty, get on with it! I don't care if we're bouncin' signals off Superman's head! Get it done." Razolli said, now starting to get worried.

Russell chuckled, "There's a joke in there somewhere... There's a paramilitary organization attacking the Commissar's forces in New York with high tech weaponry. We're not going to get everything, so I'm going to 'bleed' off some the robot forces away from the fighting. Let the rest destroy each other."
