A left the room and closed the door behind her. She leaned against the door and looked at the ground. Drops of water fell to the floor from the empty abyss her hood kept in shadow. 'If only Yuffie and Leon found me first too. If only I didn't accept their offer to join them, to be part of their so called family. Who knows how much better off he'd be.' "I'm sorry, Hotaru," she whispered to herself, "But there are some mistakes you just can't get over."

King Mickey looked at her from the end of the hallway. He walked closer to her. "Everything alright A? You seem to be crying"
Hotaru looked at the door before rolling onto his side. "Fantastic....." He closed his eyes and fell asleep after a few minutes.

"Nerves," she said cooly, her tears stopping. "Just worried about the mission ahead. But don't worry, I just need some to time to regain my composure. Speaking of which, I should probably leave now."

King Mickey nodded. "Alright. Well if you change your mind the room next to his is free to use." he then opened the door, and poked his head in. "Sleeping already. Must've been pretty worn out."
Hotaru snored lightly, as he tossed and turned.

"Ya, he was," she whispered and then turned and left.
Merlin was still sitting in Anna's room when she found him. "Uh, Merlin? Why is my room a mess?" Anna asked looking around her room. Merlin snapped his head up, which later he would regret.
"Anna! Why did you go with Hotaru!" Anna looked down guilty.
"I had to Merlin. I just had to make sure he's okay. I still have to actually."
"What?"
"I left something that will help me keep an eye on him."
"First you run off and now I find out you're still up to your old tricks?" Anna just looked at the ground, fumbling with her feet.

Leon walked in to Merlin's. "So, I just found out the hot head is going to be headed back tomorrow, and he apparently has a companion. Someone know one knows." he sighed. "I really think I might be getting to old to deal with this kid. So many damn problems coming out in the last couple of days."

Merlin looked at Anna very seriously for moment and then got up and walked over to Leon. "A stranger? Think how dangerous that could be," he said, looking over to Anna for a second.

Leon just sighed. "Believe me, I am. And I really hate it..." he sighed again. "Kid's just always got to give me headaches....." he looked over at Anna. "You alright? Merlin took off while we were talking to the king saying something about needing to check in on you."

"Yea, fine," she said sounding surprised. "What was the matter, Merlin?" Merlin glared at her.
"Just worried. Hotaru just leaving gets one's blood racing."

Leon nodded. "Yeah it does, stupid kid. Never thinks twice when he's made up his mind....suppose that's one of his good qualities too." he gave a sigh. "Glad to hear you're fine Anna"

Leon looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, someone no one knows. And we talked to the king about Hotaru, just to give him fair warning of his personality."

((Just wanted to say, happy fourth of July, and we made it to 400+ posts!!!! ((Hmm. With a post like that I feel like making some sort of July 4th/400 post cake. Mmm. I just might make it my mission for today. I WILL! I'll see if I can get pictures up for you guys afterward :]))
Anna nodded and muttered "Smart." Merlin kept staring at her sternly and Anna dropped her head again.

Leon sighed, as he looked between the two of them. "And just what am I missing? Cause if you have information, I should give it to the king......" He turned and started walking out. "Also, he's said he was going to send some support for Hotaru, in regards to tracking down the other wielder.....all undercover of course......" "There.......I did what you wanted mickey.....just wish I knew what you had planned....." was his only thought as he started heading back to his own house.
