"She was very worried about you being angry.. .and her mother being angry for doing magic inside the house," Kara admitted, "In fact that's why Rhea and Adonai are not joining us for lunch... she wanted to go home before you found out."
Not that it mattered it seemed that Haradhel handled it very nicely, of course Kara should have figured someone with an elemetnal background could deal with all of that.

Haradhel's brow furrowed with worry. "Poor girl," she murmured softly. "Still, she is learning, yes? And new things, it feels like ..."
She smiled. "I'm sure she will get better," she nodded certainly. "And someday, she will be capable of more than any of us. I only wonder if perhaps someone should ask Aragost about her, see what he knows ... because if she is as powerful as I think she is, then ... "
She shook her head slowly. "We will not be able to help her after you are gone," she murmured. "Magic has always been innate with us, we have never had to teach or learn it. Rhea is a completely different case ... if she is not taught, who knows what will happen?"

"I've noticed... sure there was Elnara, but once she was settled and had a more stable way of life she can control her own magic very well," Kara mused thoughtfully.
Granted she left out the part where Yukito had told her that Elnara had been traumized as a child. Now the problem was of Rhea, Rhea needed help, for obvious reasons. She could not stay here though, and she had no one except the mage twins who could, but she couldn't ask either of them stay away from their mates for so long.
Triton didn't use magic, Trisha only used a bit of it.... she tried thinking for anyone who had the basics in that magic.
"I worry about that," Kara admitted, "She's needs someone who can stay with her, but at the moment I can't think of who else...."
Shiro maybe?

Haradhel nodded sadly. "It is not safe for her to be left on her own, without guidance," she murmured, sitting down on the stairs, "though I know of none that could help her. Aragost perhaps ... but he has been distant from everyone, more so than usual, since Rhea was born ... I know he was the one to ask the Valie to save Shael, and Shael has mentioned a price ... but no one knows what it was. I don't know if he can help Rhea."
She tried to think of someone who might help the girl. Unfortunately, there were very few who knew anything of learning and teaching magic ... everyone usually had control of their magic right from the beginning of its manifestations.

Kara ran through the lists of people she knew... she didn't know any mages outside of the family... well there was Uriel and he had taught for centuries... But she couldn't ask that of him.
Then her mind flinted on one person in particular. She didn't really practice magic though, though she understood all the concepts and they were capable of magic it was just she had been so caught up in potion making it wasn't something she thought of.
But she was capable of at least doing the basic excerises (meaning she could summon magic but not cast it).
"Cinderella," Kara finally replied, "Would be the only person I can suggest that can stay here for a long period of time and wouldn't mind."
Even though Cindy created the potions for other people, she hadn't sent up shop yet, and Kara could take over potion making for the school until Cindy was done.

Haradhel thought about that suggestion for a few moments, and then she nodded. As far as she knew (though of course things could change) Cindy had no one in Gaia that she had to be there for all the time ... and she was a bright little thing ... and Adonai had been very fond of her as a child ...
"Perhaps you should suggest it to Adonai," she nodded finally. "Though personally, I would say, the sooner the better. Rhea's only six years old, but the power she has at her command ... it's greater than anything I've ever heard of. The older she grows, the more she'll have - at least, that's my suspicion, since that's the way it is with elves - and if she keeps getting more power without knowing how to properly control it as it grows ..."
She trailed off, letting the implication hang. There had already been accidents ... who knew what else might happen? And to what proportion?

"I'll explain it to Cindy as soon as we get back, that way she can pack and leave for here if she agrees, a few hours our time... so perhaps a few weeks then hopefully nothing big will happen."
Kara decided, she really hoped Cindy would agree, because otherwise there wasn't anyone else she could suggest. Shiro, now that she thought about it had the library.. and they didn't really have that many full magic users like the way Yue and Yukito were.
"I will the next time I see him though."

Haradhel smiled and nodded again. "Are you going to continue to work with Rhea while you're here?" she asked curiously. "She might be a little shy for a few days because of the playroom, but I'm sure she would be happy to continue learning ..."
There was little that could keep the child down for long.

Kara nodded, "I'll be continuing with Rhea in the mornings and then do lessons with Toshiro and Miyu in the evenings. She needs more one on one attention, and maybe you can spend time playing or visiting right Miyu?"
She looked down at the little girl.
Miyu nodded, she could just visit that would be just fine with her even though Yami-san as far as she knew was having day shift at the moment.

Haradhel smiled at Miyu. "You know," she said softly, "there are a few different things we could do so that you could see Aragost more often ... we could give him some time off, since he's always working so hard, so that he could spend time with you, or if you'd like you could ask him if you can go with him on his rounds ... as long as it's daytime, there isn't much to worry about, and with him you would be safer than anywhere else."
She knew how much Miyu like to spend time with Aragost, and she knew that the ancient fighter liked their time together just as much, but with him on day shift their time together was very limited.

Miyu looked thoughtful, she never knew how Yami-san felt about his work, because he was always working. Though it would be nice for him to take time off, because everyone should get to relax once in a while.
"That would be nice," she admitted to Haradhel, "Sometimes I go with Yami-san on his rounds, and that's okay too."
She smiled widely, because they always got to talk about things or see things she normally didn't get to see before.

Haradhel smiled and nodded. "Then we'll talk to him when he comes in this afternoon," she assured Miyu warmly. "Now, I've got to go wash up for a minute, and then I'll have lunch ready ... why don't you call people inside? Just Elrohir and Ahren, I think they're at the field, Arahad is already inside."
She had actually just finished her lessons with him, so he couldn't have gone far.

Miyu thought about it for a minute she was sure that was something she could do and nodded. Besides Lin and Toshiro needed to come in to eat too otherwise they might become very hungry later and that wouldn't be good.
"Okay! I'll find them!"
Miyu replied letting go of Kara's skirts before zipping back outside to search for everyone.
Kara giggled at that, it was always hard to tell if Miyu was actually nervous or not or if clinging was just a habit she had developed. She was starting to think the latter.

Haradhel chuckled softly as Mizu ran outside.
"She's not as shy as she seems anymore, is she?" she smiled at Kara in amusement. "I'm glad, though ... she's so sweet."
She stood again and started to head up the stairs to wash up for lunch.

The next morning, at the same time, Rhea and Adonai were back at the ranch. This time, Adonai decided that he would stay with Rhea for the morning - mostly because she seemed not to want to let go of his robes. Her wings were still out from the day before, because no matter what she had tried, they simply had not gone away. Shael had been very careful not to say anything about them, but Rhea had been very self-conscious the entire afternoon and evening - though she had commented that they were comfortable for sleeping.
"Kara!" Rhea called out as she led Adonai into the house. "We're here!"

"Welcome back," Kara called out from the play room.
She was alone this time, Toshiro went off to see if he could help out anywhere. He still had more energy than usual, which wasn't a bad thing it was just it almost gave him a jump start more than what hanging around elves all day and night could do. He was probably going to be like this until they left since only then would he be drained of excess magic.
Miyu of course was off with Aragost for the day and Lin... Lin was murmuring something about language practice.
Kara closed the book she was reading, "Is your father with you?"
