Devon sighed and stood up, seeing the smoke as well. "These fire benders are getting annoying... i guess i should go and get rid of them." Devon said with another sigh as he walked off towards the smoke.

Kaori turned herself to face the fire bender as well. as son as he would attack, she would be ready. After a few minutes of countless circling, she decided he wasnt going to act.
"what too scared to fight me?" she asked

'No. I thought you were going to attack.' Korsu wrote as he darted in, low and he aimed a punch to her gut, his hand seemingly normal but was actually heated up.
((Remember he has his daggers with him so he's wearing knuckle busters basically))

Kaori swiped her daggers down low making a high sound as the 2 metal items clashed with each other. she took this chance to grab hold of him as she aim a kick for his head at blank point range.

Korsu saw it coming and knew he wouldn't be able to dodge. He started tilting his head back so when it hit he wouldn't take as much damage. As her kick made contact you could hear a low thud and then the impact also sent him flying slightly. He got up and blinked a few times, shaking his head. I'm rusty.. he thought to himself as he tried to get the ringing out of his ears.

Kaori got back into a bouncing stance, left arm forward, right hand back and down. She wasnt really the type of fighter, but when it came down to defense, she would be ready to fight.

Ardea found the fight, it was Kaori and some fire bender, honestly, Ardea didn't know who to root for.
Scirooco stumbled upon the fight as well, staring blankly at Kaori as she defended herself

Lila picked up all the 'good' food that had fallen in the dirt and she stood up, brushing the dirt off of her skirt. She straightened herself up and looked toward the gate. 'Smoke...' Her eyes widened slightly as she began to run towards the gate, stumbling every once in a while.

Lotte looked over at the new comers. One was a fire easy to tell right off the bat. The other she wasn't sure. She waited to see if they would interfere in the fight.

Kaori looked around. she didn't like the sight. their fight was drawing more attention than she wanted.
great, more people to watch. now what? She thought to herself.
she didnt really like using her powers much, only when it came necessary.

Lila stopped when she had arrived by the gate. She had finally spotted the fighters. "A Fire... And an Earth?" She whispered to herself. She hugged her bag of food and watched as they both looked around. She pulled her blue hair under her hood to make sure it wasnt visable.

Devon took out his bow an arrow and held an arrow at the ready. preparing to fire it at the fire bender, should he start to have the upper-hand on the earth bender.

Korsu's yellow eye's flashed as he let flames crawl from over the daggers and then up his arms, stopping when they got to his shoulders. He barely took notice of the fact that even though the fire did nothing to him, his sleeves were burnt up in a matter of seconds. The ashes fell off and onto the ground. The flames licked the edges of his hair, he wasn't bothered because he knew it wouldn't burn. He crouched down and bared his teeth at Kaori. Korsu darted in, making sure his head was not close enough so he'd get kick again. He was aiming to slash at her arms as he came close.

Kaori gripped her daggers tight and began swiping her arms in an under-throw form, each time sending waves of earth at Korsu. She also started backing up giving themselves the slightest distance.
