Chi watched as Kiendo took his notebook and pencil and started writing. After a while, she turned and looked at the library. "Wow..." Chi said.

Kiendo took a few careful steps in, writing down every detail in his book, "It's a beautiful library isn't it?" He asked.

"Yeah..." Chi said, still looking around, smiling in awe. "You went to this library before?" she asked, turning to him.

"I have seen the library the last time I was here, but regretfully I didn't step inside until now," Kiendo answered.

"Ohh..." Chi said, "Well then let's see what kind of books this library has. I have been very fond of reading." Chi said, smiling. She went inside, carefully watching every step she makes not to make too much sound, and looked at some books she saw just sitting on a table at the corner.

After a few minutes Kiendo was done writing about the original condition of the library. He walked inside and scanned the books, writing down little notes here and there in his own book as he went. That was his policy. He didn't disturb the room unless it was written about and he didn't remove books until he has the original condition recorded.

Chi walked around some more, or it's better to say, she was floating while going to one bookshelf to the other. There were lots of old books, but there are some which are recent. The books usually contain history about the place, and about the Ancients which Chi has heard nothing about. There were also some folk tales and myths that she was very fond of reading.

After a while Kiendo pulled out a book and started carefully flipping the pages, reading the ancient words carefully.

Chi saw a big old book and flipped through the pages. It showed pictures of the feared creatures and people in the Village of the Ancients. She floated towards Kiendo, saying, "Uhm, excuse me," she asked, "could you uh, tell me something about these?" she showed the pictures in the book. "It's about the enemies and other feared creatures in this place... Well, if you don't mind." she felt kinda embarrassed, interrupting Kiendo while he was reading.

Kiendo looked up from his book when she showed him the book she was holding, "Of course," He said, "This place has some monsters of that era still lurking about. Like demons and the occasional sandworm or so," He put his book away and returned the book he was reading to it's proper place on the shelf. He went over to a bench and sat down, expecting Chi to come over as well.

"Ooh," Chi said, amazed and terrified at the same time that there were still monsters that are lurking in the real world. He saw that Kiendo went to some bench and sat down, and he followed him.

"Don't worry. If something shows up, move behind me," Kiendo said, "I'll protect you," unintentionally, but he would. It was a problem he had for a while now. Maybe that's why he keeps researching magic.

Chi blushed slightly on what Kiendo said, and said "Okay." and smiled. She didn't mind that he wanted to protect her, even if she was an angel and she had powers of sorts.

"Good," Kiendo said. He looked at the open book and started telling her about the creatures there, including their weaknesses and such.

Chi listened to what Kiendo told her about the creatures and their weaknesses and such, and she felt that she was actually listening for once.
