Aradel could not help but roar with laughter at their children's antics.
Kailen stood up and grabbed the rabbit away from his sister with his paws, gently petting it's head. "Careful Vivi. It's just scared. We are ferocious lions and this is a tiny harmless bun..oof!!" The rabbit kicked him in the stomach then bounded off, leaving him on the ground.

Rose looked at them "Are you two ok?" she asked and ran over to them.
Vivi's furr was standing up as her vines snaked back into her mouth and she looked at Kailen "Harmless I'd say in the least." she said and sat down, putting her ears down.

Aradel quickly followed suit, a tinge of worry coursed through his body when the rabbit had kicked his son. They were both so young and fragile. "You two alright?" He nuzzled Vivi gently, then nuzzled Kailen.
Kailen sat up with a far off look in his eyes. He remained motionless until his father nuzzled him. Then a snarl left his throat and he slashed Aradel across the face with his claws. The sharpness drew blood and he watched as his father recoiled.
Aradel roared in pain, staring at his son. "What's gotten into you son?" He was more shocked than angry. His son was always so sweet. He looked to his mate with a worried look, mouthing the word "Mutation" silently.
Kailen looked over at his sister, a dark look covering his face. He remained sitting, but watched her almost menacingly, his claws fully drawn.

Vivi's face turned emotionless when Kailen scratched Aradel, a dark shade covering her eyes.
Rose stepped back, looking at Aradel then back at their cubs "I... Kailen, Viviney." she whispered, taking another step back.
Her body began to shake and the vines came back out from her mouth and her closed eyelid began to move.

"What's gotten into them Rose...?" He looked at them in horror. Had their mutations cracked them? This was bad. That is all he knew. He had to get his mate away from them.
Kailen stood then and looked up at his mom and dad. He seemed to twitch, his eyes returning to normal. "Dad...I..." But just as quickly he went as emotionless as his sister, padding closer to his mom. His movements were staticy, like from a horror movie.
Aradel saw this and let out a roar, blood still dripping from the slash his son had given him. He swatted the cub just hard enough to knock him onto his back where the spikes on his back stuck into the ground. He then proceeded to pull his mate away from the two cubs. "They are not safe Rose...they can't be trusted."
Kailen thrashed as his spikes stuck into the ground. His blank face turned to his sister as he lay still. "Sister" Was all he said, as if summoning for help off his back. He remained there waiting.

Vivi turned toward her brother and walked toward him, saying nothing as if only obeying. Her motions swaggered as her vine coiled around him to lift him up.
Rose looked at Aradel "Why?" she said and clinched her eyes, looking away "They're not suppose to be like this." tears started filling her eyes.
She pulled him from the ground and turned him around, setting him back down as her vines retracted back to her. Her gaze went back to their parents.

Kailen nodded nce toward his sister, then stared at his father, a kind of hatred in his eyes. "You pushed me dad..." His voice was eerily cold, though the rest of him was emotionless.
Aradel looked at his son and felt a chill pierce his heart like an arrow. "Because...they want to kill us Rose." He stood between their mutated cubs and his love protectivly. "I can't believe they were so sweet only moments ago..."
In one moment Kailen stood in one place, in the next he was running at his father, claws unsheathed. He launched himself into the air and clamped his fangs down into his father's scruffy neck. Thankfully his jaw was too small to kill him.
Aradel let out a roar of pain. He thrashed his body trying to get his son off of him. Blood dripped from the wound as his son didn't move, only dug in deeper. Tears filled his eyes from fear and pain. "ROSE!!! PLEASE GET HIM OFF OF ME!!!" He was freaking out. This was not supposed to happen.

Rose's eyes widend, fear stained her face. She shook her head at her mate's cries for help "But... they're our cubs." she clinched her teeth "They are, aren't they? Still?" his roars of pain broke through "No, they aren't the same!" her eyes glared at Kailen. She stood on her hind legs and swung her paw at him, knocking him off.
Viviney's glare shot towards Rose and her vines spread out, fanged buds sprouting and snapping "Unforgivable..." her voice crackled through them and she started to walk forward.

Aradel panted, fresh blood staining his fur. "We have to get away from these...these monsters...they want to kill us Rose!" He spotted how Vivi looked at his mate, then growled low in his throat. "Watch out. She's watching you..."
Kailen tumbled backwards into his sister, then grumbled. He rolled off and nudged her up, then approuched his father. "Monster...I'm a monster...?" He jumped and dug his fangs into the front of his father's neck as deep as possible.
Aradel roars in pain, then grabs the runt off his throat. It managed to open a fresh wound, but he held it up in the air by it's spikes, glaring at it. The cub's eyes glowed red as it thrashed violently.
Kailen hissed and snarled as it was held up in the air. He could not reach his father now and was such, helpless. "Sister!" He growled viciously.

Vivi shook her head from the impact, her vines brushing against her furr searching for any blood. One by one they started to move back in the direction she was facing and snapping all the more. She glared at her brother then back to Rose.
Rose stepped back, the raging vines would keep her from getting anywhere near Viviney's body. The back of her legs hit the side of their den, she was trapped.
Vivi peered back toward her brother, one of the vines snaking across the ground toward Aradel's leg and wrapped around him. The bulbs started to bite at his legs and pulled him down. She looked back at Rose "Now for you..." she said, the vines creeping toward her.

Kailen nodded toward his sister when she brought his father down. Then he attacked his father's back in a place he could not knock him off from. He dug his claws into his shoulder blades, then bit down with all his strength.
Aradel yowled in shock when Vivi's vines took him down, then started biting him. He roared in pain when Kailen dug into him. He stood and swiped at Vivi roughly, pain in his eyes that he had to.
Kailen dug in as deep as he could, purring as he tasted blood against his tongue. He hissed when his sister was struck by his father. "How dare you...?" He started slashing away at his father, all over his body.

Vivi hit the wall and fell down, one of her vines breaking off and hissing as it withered to a dried stem. Her vines laid across the ground, still and silent.
Rose looked at Viviney and took a step toward her "Vi...Viney?" she swallowed and looked down at her.
Viviney's eye shot open as her vines raced around Rose's legs "I told you, you were next." she said standing up as her other eyelid opened, a different looking stem slowly coming out.

Aradel tried to get over to Rose, but slumped to the floor in pain, weak from blood loss as the mutated cub continued to slash and bite him. He whimpered and looked over at his mate. "R..Rose..."
Kailen continued his attack until his father collapsed. He gave a happy purr as he walked in front of his father and sat down, grinning darkly. "Well father...it would seem you have nowhere to go..."

Rose's eyes teared up "No eye..." she said, looking into Vivi's face "It's dark... so dark." a tear ran down her cheek.
"You talk nonsense." Viviney said and growled "All I have to do is wish it and I can take you down without breaking a sweat." she snarled as the vine from her eyesocket curled around her ear tauntingly, it's tip very sharp.
Rose closed her eyes "I hoped you... wouldn't have to endure the hard times I had."
"Quiet!" she hissed, her vines tightening around her body and lifting her up "You are weak. I am not." the bulbs snapping and brushing against Rose's cheeks.

Aradel stood shakily watching his mate being lifted up off the ground. He gave the mutated cub infront of him a whack with his paw, sending it flying into the back of the cave. As fast as he could he ran at Vivi and pounced, pinning her down. He ignored the vines, stepping on and breaking any he could as he bit the one holding Rose up in half.
Kailen made no noise as he flew, only a thud heard as he hit the floor. He lay there until his father attacked his sister. Quickly he launched himself at his mother and dug his claws into her back.
